Hi guys,
I have a challenge to propose to all of you that know how mold and sculpt heads. Sadly I do not have the skills or tools to do this. This may sound as a personal request but I know many of people would love to have such head for their customs.
Recently I bought one of those Dead or Alive figures. They have great articulation and the mold is very good. One of them even wears what Mikalea would wear so I thought it would be a nice idea a Mikaela or Megan head to go with that body or any other. I'm sure loads of people would love it and its something I did not see anyone trying yet.
Sam would also be cool but in that section we are lucky we can use Indiana Jones figure of course the air style is a bit different still I'm sure some guys here can give him a small hair-cut eheheh
Ok here is the challenge lets see if someone is up to the task

Try Tri-Gate Creations. There should be one in the store now or soon to be one. I don't have a copy of it to take a picture, but contact the store and they should be able to get you a picture of the head sculpt.

Dead or Alive is a computer game I think it was Takara the made a pack of 4'' figures all female with some good articulation. Heads, hands etc can be exchanged. If I'm not mistaken its 4 characters but 2 are repeated using other colors in the dresses so total 6 figures and some parts. Make a search on google I'm sure you can find it

It sounds more like the fact that you want one made for you?
If that is the case, just ask. You dont have to throw out a challenge. There are many talented people that would charge you a small fee for one.

Well I don't see the difference between making a challenge and wanting one. It happens that I know lots of people that would like to have such head so its not my personal request only. Of course I would want 1 or more never said I didn't.
I just don't see the need of coming on and sort of "attacking" what I wrote just for a wording issue.
@Mods please change the "A Challenge..." to "A Request...." since someone seemed to be offended with this.
Thanks

Oh and just to clarify when i said challenge I meant as a challenging task since there aren't many female figure out there that could serve as a good starting point and this as to be done maybe from scratch.
About paying I never said I wanted it for free.

I was not attacking you at all. Hisstank does a lot of contests and with all the Newbies around (the more the merrier) it can be confusing. I was just pointing you in the right direction. No need to take offense....... just wanted you to get your figure.

Talk to Gunslingercb, he does outstanding work. He is a staple here so it wont take long to find him. Ask him in a PM. I am sure if he can't do it he will point you in the right direction. take care and when you get it made - throw it up so we can all marvel at her.

Female likenesses are generally difficult because unlike men they have softer features.
So you have to find a figure with the same shape face and the rest is really done ny painting. 25th Scarlett (the first one) has the right sort of face. With Megan's hairstyle and the right painting it'll work.
Now I am the one who made a 3 3/4" Rihanna so I do have some experience with sculpting female celebs at this scale, and it's always better to find a close likeness than it is to sculpt a new one (Rihanna did have a bit of face sculpting but it was mainly her forehead)

And here she is. This is 2-3 normal size so the imperfections are magnified, however in the flesh she looks much better. The head is Scarlett with the chin sanded so it was less pointed. Baroness hair. I'm doing this as a free favour for Grippen as I fancied the challenge, and I hope this is a reasonable likeness
Hair isn't glued yet, and I'm only sorting out the head

I used a star wars figure for my version of mikaela.
Force Unleashed Maris Brood.
Heavy/Scratch: FINALLY completed: Mikaela! - TFW2005 - The 2005 Boards (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/211351-finally-completed-mikaela.html)
sanded down the legs and body, took off the hair, put on new hair with greenstuff & repainted her. And also gave her a box to hang out in ;)
