Transformers Movie Screen Battles Desert Attack (Scorponok and soldiers) and Capture of Bumblebee (Bumblebee and Sector 7)

I had to return the first Bumblebee set after I got home and found that a piece was missing. I had to drive back to the store (50 miles away) and return it. Lucky for me they had the last one left that I saw this morning. Unfortunately they did not have the main things I was looking for, 25th wave 5 Snow Job, Destro, and 2 Crimson Guards. I'm still happy about finding the Screen Battles though, that Bumblebee is awesome.

Well I received my Apache from a fellow Hisstank Member (Now Wild Bill has a new ride).

My friend Steve hooked me up with 3 of the new Corps 2 packs (these are cooler than older versions).

a Soldier Force IV Combat trooper set that included a motor cycle, and parachute with fan pack, and locker.

C.O.P.S. highway Intercepter w/Roadblock, A.T.A.C. with Heavyweight,Checkpoint,A.P.E.S., Koo Koo,Powderkeg,Louie the plumber,Rock Krusher,Hyena, and Big Boss.

Cobra Air Trooper, and single carded Duke.

Not bad for 3 days (the apache came in late JAn, but I just got my label sheets so I count it as a feb haul).

TAC 2008 wave Anakin and Obi Wan. Had to search pretty hard for these guys, and there were very few left when I found them(found the last Anakin, and only 1 Obi wan was left). Anakin is great though I realize now why everyone wants ball jointed elbows on him. Obi Wan's skirt makes his hips look too wide, and the pilot Obi wan from ROTS had better knee mobility(this one can bend, but not as far back as the ROTS pilot version). His head is easily removed too.

Transformers Movie Deep Desert Brawl

My Transformers hauls have been great lately but G.I. Joes (by Joes I mean IG Destro, Snow Job, and 2 Crimson Guards) have been hard to find. Then again it has only been a few weeks since I got 2 Crimson Guards, Flash, and Snake Eyes. I hope to find them before wave 6.

I had a Major Haul last night, I visited my wife's Wal-Mart (it was her day off, so I ha to go check for myself), and it was a good thing I did, I scored a whopping 5 Red Ninja figures, 7 officers, and 6 Cobra Troopers! I also bought all 6 of the new 1/18 scale WWE figures (each comes with a piece to build a Wrestling ring). Ahhhhhhh, on a sad note still no new figures, but troop builing helps dull the pain.

I bought the other Fred and Scarface pack I passed on Sunday. I just thought it would look cooler with two Crimson Guards without helmets than one. It makes them look less unique that way.

Today the first Kmart I went to had some of wave 3. Then I went to Wal mart and they had buzzer and stalker and a comic duke and cc. Then I went to target and they had wave 3 and comic pack 1. Then I went to another K-mart and they had some wave 3 and some wave 1 comic packs. I almost walked away but decided I should look at the comic packs. In the the back was a destro/breaker 2 pack!!! I was so happy but all I could think was if I got there sooner I might have also got the nok 2 pack. Is some thing wrong with me?

Not at all. When I found the few wave 5 figures I did I thought the same thing. Even when my Wal-Mart started stocking Joes in January I saw a hooded Cobra Commander and one of the first things that came to mind is that I just missed wave 5 again. That wave will be the death of me yet.

Wave 3 comic packs ACE and Weasel along with SE SS coming up quite often at a store here in Baton Rouge LA. Wave 4 is also really starting to show up a lot more now. Just grabbed all the wave 3 comics, 3 Cobra Officers and 3 Cobra Airtroopers. I just added three more air troopers and a T Crotch Wave 4 Storm Shadow. That makes my haul this month 6 air troopers all the wave 3 comic packs and the SS all from one Walmart!!!

I just broke down and ordered wave 6 from BBTS and preordered the Wave 7 and 8's from there also. At aroun 7 - 8 a figure shipped that is not too bad. Walmart is now 5.44 a fig and Target where I usually get newer stuff is 5.99 and I suspect that will rise also in time. So why not save the gas and time and just order from BBTS.

I picked up the wave three comics packs sans the Crimson twins at a Toys R Us in Irvine, CA. I've actually acquired about 40 single carded, one five pack, all the comic packs, and mailed away for Doc this month. Haven't seen any of the new figures in CA though. Had to pick most of those from BBTS or Ebay. Anyone else have any luck finding Joe in CA retailers?
