I guess those pencil pushers at walmart looked around online at the price, because I just looked at walmart.com and the pit is now $99.86!

Way to go Walmart, Now if only you'd get in Helix in my area I'd be happy.

(P.S. if you're in Gulfport they had a lot of 25th figures when I went there today, as well as season 1.1)!

Well that is good news. Now they have it for the lowest price...

I can think of a lot of better ways to spend $100 in the GI Joe action figure area.

It's really a shame that Hasbro used this "item" as the test waters for large vehicle demand.

Oh, even when I showed it to my wife the other day she told me it was the dumbest looking GI Joe vehicle she had seen since I started collecting again. Then she said, "I'm sure glad you don't like it because I'd hate to see 5 of those sitting around the house."

waste of money and is gonna ruin any chances of us seeing any classic playsets being remade (Terror Drome, G.I.Joe HQ)

the design of that thing is terrible and is already cluttering the shelves

They pretty much had no choice but to do this. Who would really spend $130 for the same item you can find at Target and TRU for $100.

I'll wait until it's about $17 at Target then I'll get it :)

99.86 is still to much to pay for the pingpong table, which is what i really want out of that set.

I'm waiting until Meijer has their summer bucks sale.

They have coupons for $20 off any item $100 or more.

I think the Pit is a great toy and I can't wait to get one.

Why don't you contact Hasbro customer service and tell them that you either want to buy one, or that the one you got in yours for your kid was broken and you want to buy another?

They're pretty reasonable when it come to replacement stuff.

Yep. Same here or they'll be in Marshall's or Ross's for about $30 about this time next year.

The thing was way over priced to begin with. I bet they had 0 sales on that monster.

They are $130 or $140CDN up here (couldn't remember if it was $130 or $139). I finally saw it at TRU in person for the first time yesterday and boy is this thing heavy! I really do want it but I can't afford it (space and money-wise).

I don't believe I have heard anybody who bought one say anything bad about it but I could be wrong. I thought somebody on here had the TRU and Target sales information for the PIT.

I have bought one and I know that my TRU sold out of their initial 4 they got on July 4th and now have 2 more in stock.

I have yet to hear about a Pitt sale but I would not be surprised if one comes down the line. I would expect Target to be the retailer to put it on sale.

With the ROC stuff, I love to play the "Do you think I want this?" game with my girlfriend.... The PIT was a clear loser all around.

I haven't heard any bad reviews myself but it still looks silly. At $100 it just doesn't exist to me. I'm sure target will clearance it and eventually ROC stuff will start showing up in Marshalls, TJ Maxx and Five Below when the movie runs it's course ( I bet by Sept/Oct)....then and only then will I consider it.

I don't know if I'll be able to get one once cost and space are figured in, but after seeing the reviews here and then actually getting my hands on the box at Target, I know I want one.

I'm really holding out for a massive clearance in a few weeks, keeping it in my trunk, and then sneaking it into my house under the cover of darkness.

The sad thing is they probably did sell some at the old price.

Even "reduced" to $100, it's still about $50 too much for me to even consider it. If it was a better looking playset, I might go for it. But I just can't do it. When these go on clearance, I may give it another look.

If they had released a better large playset, I'd be all over it.

Gee, what a way to beat competitors by slashing 13 cents.

Just the gas and sanity I would lose to venture into that hell hole.

is there free shipping on it?if not, then whats the point of getting it from walmart.com?oh yeah ,they don't stock the vehicles or playset.at least not at any of the walmarts around here in milwaukee.

It reminds me of the Simpson's episode where Homer's brother lets him build a car for his company. It was a monstrosity.

With the site to store being free... it's tempting. Heck I wouldn't have to drive all the way to Lexington for one this way. Still... it is pretty ugly.

The best thing to do it wait it out. These will drop in price as time goes on. I would pay 60 maybe 80 dollars for it tops. Then again it is kinda ugly and I really don't have the space for it. I like my mobile command center better. I also have a Flagg and terror Drome and I really don't have the space I want for what I have.

Maybe my local Walmart stores will actually start stocking RoC figures / vehicles now. It's unlikely but possible.

Yeah... the PIT doesn't look all that appealing to me. I know some compare it to the MCC... but the MCC at least makes sense in the way it's formed, and the way it opens up.

This thing just opens up everywhere and just looks like it was in a process of being blown up from the inside out with all the parts coming out like that.

They've always been $99 at my local Wal-Mart since they put them on the shelf, which is more than I'm willing to spend.

$99.86 though not $99.99 :) thats a HUGE svings and I am passing it on to youuuu!!!!

Anyways,

I want to wait it out but most of the places around me the 12 or so targets and 15 or so walmarts, if they have them only have 1 or 2 on the shelf. So waiting till they go clearance may not work for me. It is ugly as hell and all I want it for at all is Hawk. When things go clearance around here you can never find the items, i swear the stores just send the items back or somehting. The last clearance target just did with the 2 exclusive jets I could not find a single one in the entire area after the clearance hit (and 4 targets directed me to other locations that showed "on had stock" and they had nothing but "oh our inventory must be off sorry" excuses). The day before the 5 taregts I checked had at least 4-5 each of them and the next day after clearance NONE to be found anywhere. I had plans to go right after work to the Target right down the street from me but oh no somone bought every single one of them LOL. Ended up just buying a single Python Patrol Viper from Sicdubine overseas for 7.99 and free shipping since that is all I wanted a PP COnquest for anyway.

May pull the trigger on a sub $60 price Pit point but not anything over that. It is just not worthy of that range. It's a giant plastic paper weight...

If they do go clearance and somone picks up several ( I dunno who in their right mind would) and wants to sell off a Hawk lemme know!

I'd rather go across the street and spend an extra 13 cents at Target and feel good about myself at the same time :) (I realise some people don't have this option and Wal-Mart is the only place for them to go to)
