This is such a cool army builder set. Oh, how I miss buying these cool 2-packs at retail.

The two pack army builders was a great idea and one of the highlights of the post ARAH lines. As much as Hasbro may have gotten wrong, there was a lot they got right.

The sheer amount of new ideas back then was awesome even though the execution usually left a lot to be desired. There are quite a few characters from that era I would love to see get the modern treatment.

Hasbro made alotve promises, then renagged and went back to destroying GI JOE same way they did in the late 80's to mid 90's, the process just happened faster perhaps cause waves come out sooner and more so. So far Hasbro with just making 25th style and ROC and mergers of both, themed figures seems to be working lets just hope they dont ruin it even though they made some doozies already.
