As do I. The Hands are Commander Gree from the Star Wars 30th line...

Interesting - I noticed those hands on my boys SW clones and thought they would be great...but I hate to pay that much for just hands. :( I have another idea I may try for a similar outcome with the wrists...I technique master Obiwan Shinobi taught me. :D

Cool work on the figure...looking good so far...I am not sure about the lower leg choice...but that is constructive feedback for you to think about.

What is this about a head? Is it gonna be available for all to buy one day? :D

No love for airborne Lower legs? :( That's one of my FAV to use....lol

I love constructive criticism as it lets you see your work from different perspectives. :D

The head is coming in from tri-gate creations #22

What figures from the star wars line have the articulated wrists? I only knew of Gree from the 30th line... Is this standard for all clones now?

Here are some updated pics.... He is pretty much finished. I ordered the wrong head form tri-gate and the sword I ordered I broke trying to make it shorter... So he is taking a little longer then I would have liked to finish up.

glad to see others using them clone troop hands
IMO they should be standard on military figures....and yes ninjas!

I got this bad azz military ninja made out of marvel universe captian america with the clone hands and he hits the sickest poses I've seen.

ya might wanna take in the forearms a lil though to Compensate for the wrist joint to avoid the "monkey arm" look

i sat and played with my custom dude that had the wrists for a long time so don't feel bad....
these new figs are a lot more fun than our old ones
they have what my cousin calls "new animation" cause when you use em it doesn't even look the same as say even a VVV era fig

Hey Doc!

Beautiful work my friend. Can't believe i've missed it up to now.

As for the hands, I believe that they are available on most of The Clone Wars troopers. Double check me on that but that appears to be the case on the few that I have for custom fodder.

Also I know you crave new female custom fodder. Check out the Joker Squad. They have a female stormtrooper that I've seen for as little as 4.99 plus shipping on ebay

DOC
06-19-2009, 06:23 PM
Thanks Goosetuber!

I am actively buying as many wrists articulated troopers as possible. That Joker Squad is something I need to get for the sith anyways so I'll be picking that lot up :D
