I just finished reading Dreadnoks Declassified and it's out there. What I gather is that Zartan is a stolen name of a guy that ran the biker gang in Australia. He was orphaned and ran away to join the army, then made his way into the French Foreign Legion. He was so crazy that he stole every name he was known by. It just goes to show you how childhood can effect a guy! WOW!

Yeah, pretty much.

So Zartan isn't even an alias he made up, it was yet another stolen identity.

I should have known something was up when I caught my Zartan figure writing down my SS#. Damn identity thief, I knew I didn't order all that sunblock online.

Crazy! I wish they would have detailed his original name at least. I guess that it is better for the story to be more believable. It shows the madness of the man. It's a complete opposite of Snake Eyes in every way. Both men had horrible pasts and each chose there own way. It would have actually been realistic if Zartan was Snake Eyes's arch enemy instead of Storm Shadow.

Who is the mother of Zanya? Zartans daughter.

Supposedly it was the woman he met in Daytona Beach Florida. There is no mention of her name but he does tell her that his name was Zartan, this was before he stole the identity of the true Zartan. DDP's Dreadnoks Declassified is a great story line.

zanya's mom was just some junkie in chicago. Not much to her really.

and as to the Dreadnoks Declassified, it was kind of neat, if not overly confusing in parts.
I don't think it's good enough to be the "REAL" story, but it's cool in a what if kind of way.

and the spelling/grammer mistakes in the first issue bugged the hell out of me.
