Okay here is a big one!! Design yourself as a Joe. Include a filecard type bio. Be realistic as to a skill or job that you could do as a Joe

Rules: Design yourself as a Joe. The custom must never have been posted anywhere. Be realistic as a skill or job you could do as a Joe. One entry per member. Must include a filecard type backround (this does not mean it must be on a filecard, just follow the general guideline of one). If possible include a pic of yourself to compare. I will submit one within the next 24 hours give or take as an example. Remember this should be along the lines of a self-custom. This time I may do a poll to determine the top 3 and I will pick the winner from the top 3. I will decide this closer to deadline.

Deadline: June 13th (Saturday) at 1200 hours.

1st Place Prize: Near mint Phantom X-19 (see pic). Stickers are near mint. Landing gear is a little stiff. Cockpit is missing 1 slide rail, but still works.

Here's me as a Joe. While elements are of course fictitious and exaggerated, I am indeed a nurse, and I am looking into joining the Army for some of the reasons I put on the filecard. Part of what inspired me for this custom was a comment that the army Staff Sgt. made about me being of a large stature and also having nursing skills. I was gonna use Lifeline's medic case, but that sucker was entirely too big. I was also gonna make a portable defibrillator out of a Destro case but that didn't work out either. Used the name "Harvester" as a reference to like harvesting wounded troops from the field. Let me know what you guys think.
Recipe= Head- Gung Ho spytroops
Torso- 25th SE
Arms, Thighs(mod), Harness(mod)- Barrel Roll
Lower Legs- 25th WW
Belt and right leg pouch from a spytroops belt cut to size.
Pistol and rifle are from whatever GI Joe. Backpack is a
25th pack with a Torch canister and mask from a vintage
parachute pack and a bit from a 25th harness for the
cross emblem. Finally, the helmet is from a 25th Viper.

reminds me of a term-paper I had in college that was due at midnight that I didn't started until 4:30 the day it was due and got uploaded at 11:45 PM. that was close.

For those interested, the filecard, although exaggerated somewhat for humor's sake, accurately reflects my time in the service, from essentially never working as a machinist or serving aboard a ship, to being ridiculously forced to get a no-shave chit simply because my face broke out if I shaved before PT (I just wanted to shave after PT when I showered, but my LPO said that I couldn't so I had to either shave or get a no-shave chit, thus his solution to my not being shaved for PT in the morning before the workday started was to never shave and grow a beard -- yeah, that's logical), and almost getting charged with malingering. gotta love the military.
