Hi my name is Anthony, and i'm an ebay junkie...
So i found a seller out of chicago that sells mostly gi joe... mostly 25th stuff and other joes from 2000 and up... i have purchased around 500-600 worth of items from him over the last couple monthes.. - scores include:
pdd silver moc - 50
numerous 5 moc lots for no more then 20 each
shark tat shipwreck -20
sdcc cc - 20
and numerous 6 packs
He ships fast, lets me take up to a week to pay, is very fair about shipping (i've never paid more then $8, and is all around a perfect seller...
so in his last batch of auctions he had some comic 3 packs... one was the classified (aka se) which i won, as well as a dreadnok 3 pack i also won... he had the 3 pack w/hannibal (aka the punisher) which i have seen go for high amounts... i bid it up to 57 and lost it literally the very last second.... so he sent me a message asking me what the big deal was about that particular 3 pack, so i told him it was hard to find and worth a pretty penny.... and this is what makes him my favorite seller....
HE IS GOING TO SEND ME A 3 PACK W/HANNIBAL FOR FREE !!! :)
imo this guy is what good ebaying is all about, customer service and satisfaction, going the extra mile to take care of a valued customer :)
So the question is, have you ever dealt with someone on the ebay that went above and beyond your normal expectations for a seller ?

I recently finished a transaction with robertr74 and it was pretty exceptional
eBay My World - robertr74 (http://myworld.ebay.com/robertr74/)
I asked a question about combined shipping on a Night Specter and VAMP about a week ago, and ended up not winning the auctions. A week later I won another NS he had listed, and he emailed me within 10 minutes asking if I still needed the Vamp. I did, and he offered to send another he was about to list for cost plus $1 extra for shipping. Excellent, excellent communication going back and forth about shipping. Very patient and honest.
I also got a good deal on a TF from allspark_toys
eBay My World - allspark_toys (http://myworld.ebay.com/allspark_toys/)
When I opened it and read the thank you note he packed in, I recognized the name from buying another TF from him directly on TFW2005... He's no ebay scalper- he posts firsts on TFW, then what collectors don't want goes to ebay, with fair prices on both places. Really honest and again, great communication going back and forth haggling on a deal.
I would recommend them both, if they're selling something you can have no worries about them

sandman351 I can't describe how awesome this seller is! She had a bunch of Battletech figures up one day. I was watching 3 of them and I waited a little to late to make my bids on all of them, I only got a bid on one of them before they all ended. Well I emailed her explaining I was interested in the others and she worked with me over two days to get them up with BIN for the original price they were posted with (Back when they were just regular auctions) and she made sure to email me and wait for a reply from me before she put them back on ebay, just to make sure I would be able to get them.
I know I had to be a bit of a problem and she dealt with me perfectly

About 85% of the sellers I deal with turn out to be great. Aslong as you ship my item in a timely manner and it arrived in the condition it was advertised, you're ok with me.

I had a major problem with this guy selling me a Variant Wraith that he claimed was mint(all his auctions are mint...)
This guy sold me a "MINT" carded clear Wraith at full price $42.99
I only bought it cause I wanted 1 MOMC, was never thrilled about the price.
I asked him to pack it carefully as package condition is crucial for the price I paid, he did pack it VERY carefully.
It arrived and I was kinda shocked that this guy would send this with a HUGE corner crease as well as the bubble had about 10,000 surface scratches like someone took a brillo pad to it.
He claims it came straight from a sealed case from HTS and did not have the condition issues when it left.
He also told me he never made any money on it...
...OK...
He also charged double for shipping and took 12 days to ship !!!
Refused to return/refund, filed claim with PayPal.
Sorry..but that's how it went.

I've had some great experiences with eBay sellers.
Night Vipers has always been good to me
eBay My World - night_vipers_joes (http://myworld.ebay.com.au/night_vipers_joes&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SELLERID)
also Little Dale's Toy Box
eBay Australia Shop - Little Dale's Toy Box: Action Figures, Collectibles, DC Superheroes (http://stores.ebay.com.au/id=49488937&ssPageName=STRK:MEFSX:SST)
I used to get great deals from a seller called Msleaner and from 4eyejedi but neither seem to be around anymore.

I bought a guitar from a guy and got it 25 minutes later. No lie. He lives and owns a music store really close to me so I just met him at a gas station. He was real nice and told me that he would always e-mail me and ask if I wanted what he was selling before he put it on eBay. And he has held true to his word.

ive dealt with night vipers joes before, good seller and was sellin some good stuff when i won a couple things from him.
i bought a g.i. joe vs cobra 2-pack snake eyes vs. storm shadow from gijoegarcia and he sent me tha wrong set and didnt even have tha set i thought i won, he gave me a refund and let me keep tha set.
my fav joe seller is dcsportscards, ive gotten quite a bit of my vintage figs and vehicles from them. they usually keep some great vintage stuff (among other things) on deck and they run auctions weekly ending thursday nite and put up more stuff right after all those ones r done.

Wow, that's really dissappointing to here... I guess what that shows is that while there are certainly always terrible or always excellent buyers and sellers, for a lot of them it may be a case by case thing, with varying frequencies of bad transactions... Maybe you can never be 100% sure, and just hope that you're not that 1%

98% off my Ebay experiences have been perfect, with the sellers, buyers, and EBay themselves. I typically don't buy current merch from EBAY because I try not to support scalping, but if it's something old and rare I do my homework, then I place my bid. P.S. I'm trying Ioffer now because it's EBAY's competition, . . . stay tuned., to Blaster's broadcast for late breaking developments. . . .

I have one problem with Night Vipers Joes. I asked them a question once about a 1982 straight arm Scarlett figure that was for sale in regards to the condition of the hands/thumbs to make sure they were in mint condition. They never replied to me, and someone got the Scarlett before I could. Plus I bought an 1983 Cobra Commander from them before then, and communication was somewhat terrible. I have had a lot of great transactions with people on eBay though. User richardhell was GREAT to me; he ended a listing early for a 1982 Cobra Commander straight arm figure he had to sell it to me for $25 shipped, since I told him I was trying to complete the 1982 set and that was a major roadblock in my progress. I got a big portion of my 1982 set from dcsportscards, however she still owes me a replacement 1982 Grunt, because the one I got from her had a cracked right thumb on it and the description didn't mention it. I still haven't gotten a replacement for it, and the MMS I got from her has a cracked tab on the turret and is separated from the vehicle's lower shell. I still haven't gotten a replacement on that either.
I've had some great experiences with eBay sellers.

I have had great communication and buying history from GIJoeGarcia, he has been great to me, has sold me some quality items, reasonably priced, and also shipped quickly and priced postaged aswell, but also the package has also been well wrapped, I meant, in sandwhich bags, then wrapped in bubble wrap, then put into a envelope, and then put into the postage sachet, so I will be dealing with him for sure again...
also... I have dealt with The_334th_Joe_Company, I bought some guns, back packs, other Joe items that I needed to complete some of my figures, he then emailed me and informed me that I had paid too much for postage, and actually refunded my whole order so in the end I actually didn't end up paying for any of it... So I will be dealing with him again...
also... SlamDuncan_32 has been excellent to me, he mainly deals with 25th Figures, priced well, postaged is excellent, packaged great aswell, I seriously can not recommend this seller any higher, he was great to me...

[quote=anthonyjkiller;727907]Hi my name is Anthony, and i'm an ebay junkie...
that's ok anthony, your among friends here. my name is a.v.a.c. and i am an ebay junkie as well. i don't buy the modern stuff on ebay, just vintage. i do have my limits. :D i spent $263 today on ebay alone. i picked up 2 minty night force vechs, with no shame.
i have gathered a lot of seller's over the years. two that stick out in my mind are greppdog and the toy horde. they have done me quite right. if they have kids, i am contributing to their college fund often.

I have been on Ebay Many Years. It really is one of the best ways to get Vintage stuff. I have had me fair share of extremely fair and very honest sellers that went above and beyond. and i have had my fair share !@^#&%(#&$ that just suck but that's the way it goes. it is a gamble sometimes and as much as I sometimes hate pay pal they really do protect you. I have never had any issues where I could not get my money back if it was a bad transaction.

WOW, you found an outstanding seller on ebay. Not many people care why their items sell so high just as long as they get their money. This seller seems to care more about the people then his wallet. Kudos.
