What's the option to pick if I just want to go for Saturday afternoon? I don't really want the exclusive, just in the door to look at dealers and stuff.

I'd like to know too. I can make the trip without taking too much of a hit, but I'd just like to go long enough to have a good time and not get bummed out on expensive hotels and all the extras. I'd like to look around the dealer room and meet the Hasbro panel and Joe team. I looked around for a specific time for this and it doesn't appear it's listed yet.

I really don't want to go, but I would love to have the Crimson set. I just can't see paying the same price, and not getting same stuff.

Just show up and pay the general admission. I think it's like 10 bucks, maybe...

Since it hasn't been announced yet, what day would you guess the Hasbro team and special guests to be there? (I'm guessing Saturday.) I called the number on the site and they said all the info they have is listed on the site. Perhaps someone knows that's been to one of these conventions before. I've been to Botcon before and usually everything goes down on Saturday. Do you expect the Hasbro panel and special guests to be part of the general admission?

I'm sure I've missed this somewhere. But are there photos of the 3 3/4" exclusives somewhere?

Do they still have the bagged sets, I may order a con set if I can still get my grubby hands on a bagged set.

Ok, so the post right above this was mine and the name caused too much confusion, so I made a new one... sorry.
Now on to my question:
I've been out of the GI Joe loop for years up until a few months ago and I just faxed in my registration form for JoeCon2009 yesterday afternoon. Can anyone tell me, do you think I'm too late for the Crimson Strike Team Exclusive? Do you think they sold all 500 in less than a month? How long does it take to find out? I called before I faxed it and the woman said there was no way to find out if anything was still available.
Any help would be appreciated 'cause like I said I'm kinda new to this... Thanks.

Man I really want this set and all the 3 3/4" extras that go with it. How does one do that if they can't go to the Con?

There's a non-attendee Registration Form you can fill out. Its the same price as the attending one and they'll send you the set a few weeks after the Con. There's no charge for shipping. It's $280 for an Officer Level club member and $330 for non-members.
You can read all the details at here:
http://www.gijoecon.com/kc2009/kcbrochure.pdf
...And the Registration form is here:

eBay!
That or find some one who is going who is willing to pick you up the extras.
I think the extras are one per person, but I may be wrong.

the best way to get the extras is find a friend that's going.

Then I guess I need to work on my people skills and make some new friends...
