Resolute Ending **may contain spoilers**

Just finished watching resolute on teletoon. I have to say the ending was a little disapointing, I expected cobra to put up more of a fight and take out some joes in the process. At least they left it open to continue, Im pretty sure CC survived. The Resolute hiss tanks were pretty sweet though and not sure if "the swarm" were updated trouble bubbles or CLAW hybrids?

i thought the rest of the seris was wayyyyy better than this episode i was very disappointed with it. especially since Flint barely had a part in the episode as well as the other episodes. I thought he was gonna steal the show at the end.

zartan is by far the most interesting character. should have had a voice more like his old voice.

I like to think it was Firefly in episode 1, who fired at the UN building but no he wasn't in this.

As for deaths... mostly just Cobra troopers, and one Cobra Tech who couldn't get the job done so Cobra Commander cut his head off... that was pretty cool.

Yeah... Cobra Commander hid in a bomb proof shelter at the end, and that container he hid in was missing when the Joes came back to check.

So Storm Shadow and Zartan are gone, but with the Cobra Trinity still alive (even if Destro and Baroness are in captivity), it seems like Cobra will rise again.

The problem I think was the time constraints, 5-6 min segments just isnt enough time. It was good for what they gave us. It would have been way better if it was longer episodes but I understand this was only a webisode thing and budget was probablly very limited. All in all, it was a good series but could have been a bit better. I think another problem was that they didnt know what direction to go in the end, they wanted it to feel like the end but wanted to leave it open for possibly more, and I think I would have just prefered them to have chose just one, not both.

It wasn't a blow your mind ending... but it does leave it open for an ongoing series.

I'm surprised they worked in the Red Resolute troopers. It looked like they were communication officers like Televipers.

No red CC though.

Honestly I wish Gungho and Roadblock had bought it at the mined door... and Stalker and Beachhead had to finish that mission on their own. I think seeing a couple joe fatalities other then Bazooka would have helped.

Maybe there will be a directors cut version?

Anyway one thing that makes the micro-series aspect annoying is all the fade to blacks... that many FTBs in a movie is really jarring.

Oh and for those of you who were complaining about no-gun Snake-eyes... well there's your machine gun toating Snake-eyes... I guess he was just polite when he was going to fight Storm Shadow and not bringing a gun to a sword fight.

I'm glad they left it open for it to continue because they never found the Cobra Commander Pod, so he is not dead and Destro and the Baroness are locked up, but never for long.

The Resoulte H.I.S.S. Tank was the best Vehicle of the show! They need to make that a toy now!

The ending was ok but again the super powers of the G.I. Joe team were way to much for me. Cobra just rolled over and look like wood targets firing blanks.

This series showed no love for Cobra!

Now lets give Ellis a chance to develop a G.I. Joe Story over time and not need to cram it into such a shot time frame. I would really like to see what this team could do with a series!

I'm banking on this. Just like Lady Jaye and Beach Head originally had speaking roles and more to do in general, Firefly's dialogue and scenes probably got cut due to budgetary considerations.

Doesn't seem so much like a one-shot anymore. Which is good and...interesting, considering how the story will be without the characters killed.

Like I said in another post, the whole series seemed rushed and not thought out very well. It could have been so much better than it was, but it was still really good.

Anyone else catch that it seemed they didn't know about Springfield, but Duke knew about it. You would think they would all know if they had been fighting Cobra for years.

I for one loved it - I felt the ending was a bit abrupt, just cutting away after the blast... but it still exceeded my wildest expectations! : )

I just have one question...


WHY did Cobra Commander kill the entire crew he had working in the beam control room? I mean, they were all dead, techs and guards. It seemed a bit out of the blue.

here is the thing that may work for some they never showed a body of zartan so he may have some how have survived the blast and being shot i am sure the facility had a bomb shelter that he could have crawled into when nobody was looking and i am sure that if they want to they will write a new character that will take place of stormshadow of revive him some how. CC survived which means that it is not over yet.

I like that take on him. The revisions to CC was by far the best thing in the series for me. Ruthless, more cunning, and intelligent and a bit of the crazies, he seems far more dangerous this time around.

I think so.... I think it's also cool that he did Low-Light in the original series.
