Simple head mods,WIP's

we all have our simple mods we do to improve existing figures or create our own, heres mine.

1. Simple head mod using the "un-useable" wild bill head that i believe actually works!

2. WIP, my desert troops will be becoming the "Dune Walkers" once i get enough montezuma heads.

3. File Card for the Dune Walkers CG

4. WIP, C.Commander leader of the Dune Walkers, thats why i need the hood . anyone have a cloth or rubber hood that belonged to a cobra commander from past lines please hook a tanker up!

all my D.W. figures will be getting minimal paint and the necks will be matched up to the skulls in color.

Dune Walkers are a cobra group i made up when i had this idea to put the skulls on a few figures i had no heads for.

back story isnt complete but so far :

they are the MIA's of a desert op gone horribly wrong. the bio-chemical weapons plant headed by dr. mindbender, expolded due to some inaccurate calculations. troops went missing in the desert and were abondoned after a brief search. somehow the bio-chemistry created in the plant killed all living cells in the body,yet they were able to function as if they were still alive. (i know, maybe a lil bit too sci-fi, but hey its the whole point of most customs.)these MIA's were left to fend for themselves and banded together to try to carry on the operation they once dedicated their "lives" to.

i only threw in the C.Commander cuz i thought he'd be an awesome project once i find the hood. maybe the back story as to why he is half man and half serpent?

a few years ago, (2005) they released a cc with both a removable battle helmet and a hood. the hood was a bit of a disappointment, though.

thanks, im excited to get these guys rolling! i never keep the customs i make because i hate to see all the hard work and effort sit in a bag or in a shelf . i'd rather they go to someone who might appriciate themmore than that, but with these i can actually get down on the floor w/ my son and play.
