UPDATED PHOTOS ON PAGE 2.

Had an extra Duke so decided to give it a shot.

Dial-Tone is a comic pack Duke body with comic pack Storm Shadow knees, a True Heroes head and tons of new pouches and accessories added on. The True Heroes figure came with the Toys R Us attack boat. I xacto knifed the head and dremeled it out to fit Joe bodies. Most of the pounches and the knife came from the True heroes figures. Most of the True Heroes pouches are soft plastic attached to the figures so they were easily cut off and attached to other figs. The strap was from my fodder bin not sure what figure it came from. The grenades came from a Toys R Us Elite Forces weapons pack. The pants pouch is from a Batman utility belt. The backpack is a power team elite pack with a peg attached to it so it can be attached to Joe back pegholes. Still got a lot of work to do on it but here it is so far.

Cool, the one thing I don't like a lot is the head, it looks kinda goofy (not the beret), I'm not sure what it is but otherwise great!

I like it!
One piece of constructive criticism: the silver is not working. Try mixing that silver paint in with flat black or dark grey to give it a more realistic metal look. Otherwise, this is a very nice WIP and I'd like to see it finished!

wow that is looking great... I have done a lot of head swapping from other toy lines and my only suggestion would be... cut off the neck portion that is attached to his head, so in other words trace his chin with your xacto and then cut right below his hair... it ends up looking a lot better, Hasbro does that of all things correctly.

Dude, don't you know Dial-Tone is a chick? C'mon.

No really, nice work on it though.

Ok took a lot of advice. Thanks everyone.

I re-xacto'd the head and dremeled it to sit a little better. Blackwashed the metal parts and touched up some paint here and there. Until I can track down a vintage Dialtone I'm making do with this radio pack.
