I went to Suncoast today in the Toms River Mall in New Jersey and notice a wierd Joe Box. I look at it and it is Hall of Heroes Firefly, BAT, and Beachhead. They were being sold for $12.99.

I was shocked. I thought they were an online only thing. This is going to make a lot of people happy.

WOW. Nice find no suncoast around these parts.

The store could have bought a case or individual figures and then put them up for sale much like some comic/toy shops have done also with these and the extreme conditions sets.

It isn't any different than you or myself being a case of them and selling them on eBay. They were still probably acquired from an online site instead of being purchased inside a Target or Toys r Us store.

I thought Suncoast went the way of the Romans.

Suncoast loved to jack prices, stay far away from them.

Our Suncoast went the way of the brontosaurus back in 2004.

I got most of my Lord of the Rings action figures from them, and my MOTU stactions. I loved them.

That's what I took away from my experience with them, too. Once I found rightstuf.com I stopped going in... then they disappeared.

I'll echo my fellow tankers sentiments, the most amazing part of this news is that Suncoast is still open.

There is an open Suncoast store? That's bigger news than the HoH find!! We had tons of them in my area & now they are all but long gone.

...there really isn't a Suncoast near you guys? Wow. I've seen Suncoast's in nearly every mall I have gone to in NJ.

And while yes, Suncoast does tend to jack up the prices on certain things, their sales are amazing (I got the entire Tenchi Muyo OVA there for 30 bucks, solely on buy one get one free. Plus I got it's sequel OVA for the same price, as it was half off for 3 DVDS. I hadnt had a Suncoast trip that good since I went in there and bought the Masters of the Universe movie when I was 10).

If one does not have a Suncoast, FYE is it's sister store, so they would have it too.

Nice score bro, the suncoast by me had the bat which was the first time I'd seen it up close and held it in my hand, but for some reason I still passed. I'll just wait for the 7 pack bat...

Hah I was about to say the same thing.

I stopped going there ages ago when I noticed they overcharged for everything. Used to be one of my favorite stores when I was younger though.

The single card joes there were only 7.99 so that wasn't too bad

I thought Suncoast was a division of Sam Goody who went bankrupt a few years ago......our Suncoast stores closed up years ago.
FYE still had foil figures last I checked in January. They had a decent selection but I remember them being about $10.99

what surprised me was that hasbro only intended these HoH for online sale only, not retail.

and now, they start showing up....in all places.... suncoast. they might as well sell em at gamestop or limited too. :D

I told you so! Anytime there is an 'internet exclusive', it always seems to make it's way to certain stores...

I went to my local Suncoast today hoping to find some, but no dice. They did have an IG Destro, CC and Wild Bill though. LOL. And they also had the new Tunnel Rat and Shockblast CPs too, so maybe they will order some HOH Joes soon. *crosses fingers*

There not an online exclusive. Target has them for $11.99 each.

At least then I'd have a shot at finding them at retail... all my FYE owned stores (Wherehouse, FYE & Suncoast) bit the dust a long time ago.

There not an online exclusive. Target has them for $11.99 each.

That's the first I've heard of that. I've got 6 Targets I frequent and none of them even have a section for HOH. Now my TRU's both have signs up advertising the HOH as online exclusives...

Who knows... still too rich for my blood with tax & shipping charges.

suncoast, fye, and best buy are all part of the same company btw.

When did Best Buy enter the FYE mix? That's news to me... You sure about that?

Went to Suncoast and FYE in Montebello mall in So Cal. last night and they both had HOH. Picked up these 4 at $12.99 each. FYE still had 2 Vipers left:)

Wow, I haven't been to a Suncoast since I lived in San Diego, well El Cajon to be exact. I lived there from 1996 to 1999.

It was in Horton Plaza. I think I bought the Transformers movie on DVD.

No their not. Best Buy sold off Suncoast a few years ago when they realized how much debt Suncoast was in. FYE is gone too.

The FYE in Torrance off Hawthorne has a pretty good selection of HOH's there, except they didn't have the bat and that was last week

I went to one of my local Suncoast stores and they only had three Hall of Heroes figs, but one of them was Firefly so I was pretty happy about that since I don't have any version of him yet. So I bought him for $12.99 and left the Zartan and Black Commando Snake Eyes there.

I really also want a Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes w/ Timber too, but the weird thing is those three were the only ones that particular store got. I asked the lady who worked there and that's all they had gotten in; maybe they will get more in later on. *crosses fingers*
