Wraith was able to go toe-to-toe with Snake-Eyes and beat him (pretty much), but the Baroness was able to defeat and kill Wraith???

Sorry to burst your bubble here... those tags aren't for allergies. We were them for fallen comrades with their names on them. Our allergy tags are on a seperate (usually red) dog tag on our neck. It's not suprising, and it's one of the few pieces of jewelry military personnel can wear aside from a watch, wedding band, and a religious medallion. Nearly all other bracelets are off-limits.

Here's a question. Where did Ophelia come from? We know how Snake-Eyes and Kamakura came to be hooked up as Master and Apprentice, but what about Ophelia? We know how she died, but how did Snake-Eyes meet her, where did she come from?

I prefer to think of it as a loving homage.

I think your wrong. What I believe your thinking of is a POW/MIA bracelet. Those are a solid band, and doesn't have a chain like the one Doc is wearing.

This line intrigues me somewhat: In issue 127, Joe Colton says: that he was "an adventurer for awhile, back when the army was out of vogue".

So you could postulate that all of the 1970's "GI Joe Adventure Team" stories and characters could be in canon. Even Bulletman and the Intruders!

I think that's what he was trying to hint at.

Wasn't Colton made into one of the 12" figures?

So that was Hama's way of making the Colton AT stuff part of continuity. Neat.

DDP also picked up on it in the final parts of "World War III", as Joe Colton is seen running around in his familiar brown jumpsuit with the "AT" logo on it.

We built a LOT of small easter eggs into the fire prevention Joe comic (tips of the hat to the 12" line, stuff from the FD...even a nod to Halloween since it was DDP's new comic)...I'd bet there's a TON of stuff we haven't discovered in all the previous Joe comics.

Here's a weird one that might be more along the lines of "Marvel Comics Secrets":

At the end of (Marvel) issue 10, Zap, Snake-Eyes and Scarlett parachute onto a publicity stunt at the Bayonne Mall. They land on a guy in a Hulk costume, who wonders if "Marsha Rosenburg booked them for this event".

I don't know who Marsha was, but by this you can guess she was some sort of Marvel publicist. No big deal, right?

However, about a year later Marvel did "Secret Wars" and created the new character Volcana for it. Volcana's alter ego? Marsha Rosenburg.

So if she was a publicist, I wonder if she was something of an inside joke at Marvel. Especially since Volcana was characterized as a pudgy, motherly, suburbanite woman.

I knew he was faking it!

Blame Scarlett on that one. She was always asking him, "What are you feeling right now?" Sick of it Snake Eyes faked that whole damaged vocal cords thing.
