I know this ones a little hard to make out with the figures being so close together. I wanted to make it look like Snake Eyes slid in between two Viper guards who were talkin' and, well........did his thing. Thanks for lookin'.

There are a lot of people on here who post decent work, but this is up there with some of the best. Great linework and subtle shading.

Prismacolor pens on the shading?

Thanks Mandingo. Nah, it's all graphite except the blood and the black surround. My computer with my art programs took a shit so iv'e been rolling caveman style with my pencils and a sharpie. Work with what ya got I guess.........

Gotcha. Smooth shading then.

The body proportions and depth are really good, a lot of people have problems getting that right, including myself.

I cannot STAND drawing hands and feet. Urg. :)

It is amazing and far better than I can do. That said, it is in desperate need of some contrast. at least Snake could be darker than the others.

Oh yeah, when I get my other computer goin' again it's on. This pic is done in "caveman" grapite, it's enough to give a good base for the final draft, which will be colored. I agree, it's hard to tell whats goin' on at this stage. The final pic will be better. Thanks for the input Fierce Krypton.

Wow, just noticed this piece got front paged. Thats cool, but a little embarrassing honestly. I really wish I could of colored it, more contrast betwwen the figures really gives it a stronger look, oh well. Thanks for looking and I appreciate all the feedback.

That is truly fantabulous work there? You interested in doing a comic? I've been wanting to write one for years but never could find a penciler. I can ink & color & write.

Well keep doing fan art, because the front page has got to have something good on it. I'm relying on this site for Joe figure research, customs and art now that it's devoid of much news that I care about. :)
