If it is for a friend request, your notification doesn't go away unless you either confirm or deny the request, is that what you were referring to?

no it was for a visitor message. i hit refresh when i was on my page on accident so i went and saw my new comment before i was notified about it.. so i never went through the whole new notification thing.

it happens to me all the time randomly basically it just says i have a new notification and when i click on it there isnt anything new. and lets say i have a new pm or anything elseit will say i have 2 new notificatons when theres really only one.

its fixable somehow because the last couple times i posted in tech support someone fixed it. lol

pleeeaassee help me shin :(

I am not aware of this issue prior to now, and don't know of anyone that "fixed" anything. Whatever issue was happening worked itself out on it's own. It seems to be cookie related.

If it is still happening, view page 1/2 of your visitor messages, and view your conversation for each message you got yesterday (or day it started).

See if that removes the notice.

Also, those of you with issues, send me a couple vistor messages each, so I can see all this in action.
