Thanks for the intel. My local Target (Milltown) has yet to do the reset, so I took a trip over to Bridgewater and South Plainfield. Both had SE, SS, Duke and Beachhead and I found one Ghost Hawk and Snowjob between the two stores. The Cobra guys might all be tough to find. Only one I am interested in is Firefly - the rest I have coming from HTS.

If I were looking to army build Storm Shadow, I would be set! He's pretty much all I have been seeing. I should quit my job so I can collect Joes full time - then I can beat out the other collectors. Then again give it a few restocks and I am sure I will find the firefly I am looking for.

I saw the vintage SW figures at Target last night. along with the AT AT. good to see them at a price less than $9.99, I picked up a Bespin Luke, which was my favorite figure when I was little.

Oh, and TRU East Brunswick had a POC Storm Shadow as well, and a couple POC Doom Cycles.

Decided to try TRU east Brunswick again tonight, and looks like they had restocked. I finally found my Firefly! They also had a couple beachheads, dukes, Storm shadows and a Snake Eyes. I have yet to see a CC or AV in the wild, but I can wait for my HTS order.

Stopped at Target Milltown, and they are cleaned out of singles - not even a Storm Shadow! They do have both mechs though, and the Joe one looks lazy eyed, so I wasn't too tempted.

I was at Walmart Manville as well tonight and grabbed a CC and AV, so far the only of those I have seen at retail. And yes, the $10 tag hurts. But now I can slow my hunt....

I decided to ship my BBTS POL so I should see a few more alley vipers next week. That may be it for me, unless I decide to get the mechs. I kind of like the fact that they slowed down the waves with POC. Too bad there is a lot of good Star Wars stuff. Hasbro will still get my money...

Just opened the AV. The grappling gun initially stays on better than the DOCI AV, but it still seems to fall off after a few minutes.

Finding an alley viper at retail is going to be blind luck for a while. Hopefully the die-hard hunters will get their fill soon and leave some for the rest of us. Took a trip out to Somerset county tonight. Walmart Manville, snagged an AV. They had a good assortment otherwise, and prices down to 6.88. Target Bridgewater - a few Dukes, Beachhead and Storm Shadows galore. I picked up Assassin's Creed 3 for the PS3 for $25. TRU in Somerville, got the AT AT for $90 and used a $10 gift card. Also found an AV there as well. A pretty successful night

Walmart North Brunswick... I don't bother checking anymore. Plus I am not really hunting. Kind of makes me sad that there is nothing I 'need' to find.

I had to get some groceries today, so I hit a few places. At TRU on 46, I saw the Iron Man 2 repaint of the Iron Man Adventures 4x4. Also on 46, I got the last PTE FAV from Big Lots. The K-Mart in Belleville had 4 IM2 Proving Ground sets. WalMart in Secaucus had DC Infinite Heroes figures for $3, Star Trek figs for $1, and one Princess Leia/Xizor packs also for $1 (there was one left). I noticed that the MU figures all had tags saying "Out of Stock" where they were supposed to be at that Walmart, not sure what that means.

Can Anyone tell me why the IM2 "fury of Combat" set is taking soooo looooong to show up at our TRUs?

Yeah Walmarts are odd like that...Piscataway hasn't even had any RoC figures since like the first release of them. Edison still has pegs full of RoC. Old Bridge I found Mechs and ONE Alley Viper no a single other figure.

Edison Walmart just plain sucks, but I did get some Desert Vipers and Jungle Ripcords at Walmart Piscataway back when those waves were out. The store dried up since then, though I did see alpha and bravo vehicles last time I was there a few weeks ago. No singles though. NJ Target distribution must be among the worst on the East Coast. Seems other states have seen POC wave 2, but no reported sighting here yet... I am itching to get my hands on Recondo, though he may be the toughest to find.

I did get my jungle Vipers from Handytoy this week. Pretty cool figure.

Good news on wave 2. I was finally able to find an AV in the Willow Grove TRU (PA). I had left a CC there but it got snatched up before I even left the aisle lol. Walmart Old Bridge some wave 1...no AV's

They had (key word HAD I bought the only one) TF Generations Deluxe size Megatron which is actually pretty cool, left two Darkmount's there.

Darkmount is actually kinda not as cool as I had hopped.

Also for wrestling fans grabbed this sweet Andre the Giant tee for $7...the had sizes mens sml - xxl!

Yeah, the Ross stores make Marshall's and TJ Maxx look upscale. The absolute worst place I found was Tuesday Morning, it reminded me of Sanford and Son.

I also preordered my wave 5 vehicles back in the day, and ordered an extra case when BBTS had them in briefly. So although I didn't get any good deals I didn't get robbed either. I was actually more interested in finding a TRU exclusive Joe 5 pack at Ross, but wouldn't have passed on the Stinger if I saw one. I would like to see TJ Maxx around here get some W12 singles in, I think I read they are hitting elsewhere in the country. They usually hit NJ later.

A GI Joe fan in Georgia told me he found a Stinger at a Ross. This was end of August. The first week of September, I made a drive to the Princeton and Hamilton Ross stores. There were NO stingers. Reading the above posts, it looks like I went too soon.

Ross stores in NJ are a total crapshoot. First off, they aren't heavily stocked and there are only a couple of them and a lot of Joe collectors in the area. So usually it's hit gold or miss the boat.

We do have plenty of Marshall's and TJ Maxx's to go around though. Too bad Ross seems to get the real good exclusive stuff.

If you do get down to Hamilton, let me know. I was planning on going tomorrow and see if they have any of the TRU joe 5 packs left. The Princeton one usually had stuff when Hamilton didn't - I went to Princeton a week or so ago and found absolutely nothing.

More recently though I have been hitting up Marshall's and picked up a bunch of Cobra Divers, PP CGs, ninja vipers and troopers from various local stores. They are everywhere (well, maybe not at the Marshalls I went to)

I stopped at TJ Maxx in East Brunswick and Edison last night. Looks like they restocked the same comic packs over again and some 25th figures. Saw 3 wraiths - the first regular ones I have seen in a while. And some ROC stuff - CS SE, Red Fang Ninja, Black Doctor, etc. Also the last wave of ROC vehicles - skysweeper, Mantis. No White doctor or Kamakura. TRU East Brunswick had restocked Spirit and Quick Kick, but I have my fill of them so I left them.

Wasted a trip down to Ross in Hamilton. They had 2 ghost hawks, a skysweeper and a ROC Storm Shadow. I did stop at TJ Maxx in East Windsor and picked up a blue wraith and a BAT.

TRu had a few, nice amount of qk and spirits if ya need any, their on a seperate end cap. THen shot down to hamilton. ross had the 5 pack with dialtone, law,etc. thats it. You're right about that--I went for a ridiculous PT job interview there and all they said was how "up to par" that store was because the suits come around the corner from Wayne.

Found 2 desert extreme sets in Marshells in So. Plainfield...also found Sidearm Sideswipe which is an awesome new molding of the figure, Hailstorm...which is pretty cool and Elita 1 in the Target there.

Left behind Megatron, Soundwave, Darkmount at the Target....no new PoC.

Went hunting yesterday, Both Target & Walmart have the Iron Man 2 figures for $5. (Star Wars figures are on sale at Target for $5)

Went hunting....TJ Maxx Marlboro had a TON of Gung-Ho, Duke, CC, Destro, a Scarlett, a Regular Wraith, a few Arctic SE's, a Roadblock, aand about half dozen Cobra Bazooka Troopers and Para-Vipers. Also some RoC stuff (mostly very common figures like Arctic SE, and Arctic SS...that lot.

They also had Roc Alpha's like the Mole Pod and Snarler, and the whatever came with the Aqua Viper that lot.

Also a good amount of the comic packs that have the IG/Viper, and RnR/D6 sets.

Nabbed a 2 Python CG's and a Cobra Trooper and Diver at the Marshell's south of Marlboro (never sure what town that is) by the Target where the old Value City was.

And my big score, in Walmart Old Bridge.......6 Jungle-Vipers! (cleared them out...my collection limit is 6 of troop builders) and Generations Red Alert.

Hit TJ Maxx and TRU:X on 1 south guess its still Edison...nothing really new, except the TRUX had RoC Raven's which were not there a few weeks back at $20 each. TJ still has plenty of the GH/CC, VP/IG wave of comic packs, and quite a few single packs of the Destro, GH etc. The also had the Alpha wave with the Sky Sweeper etc.

Overall nothing really new.

Oh TRU:X had Marvel Universe Kitty Pride wave...I nabbed a Havok...I'm not really a Marvel Universe figure collector but I grab a few here and there...Havok I liked.

some sweet booty at tjmaxx today: 3 bats, 3 bazooka troopers, a kamakura, a white coat rex, and a roc para viper. they also had the unmasked storm shadow arctic assault variant, but i passed on that. tjmaxx seems to be busting at the seems with poc vehicles, including night ravens for $15.

checked out the local TRUexpress and found only night ravens and the rip-it cycles.

Hit a few stores today...that same TJ and TRU:E in Edison...nothing new at all but no suprise I did stop in yesterday.

Stopped at TRU rt 18 grabbed 6 of the TRU Snow Serpent...my damn arctic love...also found an Alley Viper (shock) and the Ghostbusters set for my nephew (I have one already) granted thats $60 bucks on a 5 year old but I know him if I didn't get him one he'd be into mine...kid LOVES Ghostbusters.

Hit the TJ on 18 as well found the Unmasked SS Arctic Assault variant grabbed (which completes my entire RoC set), went to

Kmart on 18 as well, amazingly they still had RoC figures a good amount at full price (WTF?) and a Raven also at full price (again WTF?) but I did get Predators on DVD saw it in the theaters its a decent flick.

Also stopped at Olive Garden...damn good chicken parm, crunchy but not hard very good.

Also hit Barnes and Noble grabbed the SW: Vector 1 and 2 trades as well as the SW: Invasion trade.

Found a TRU express less than half a mile from my house - didn't know it was there until I looked on the store locator. Didn't really matter because they just had crap. Night Ravens and rip attack vehicles.

So then I went to Marshall's in North Brunswick and found they had 3 cases worth of the diver/trooper wave and took them left the ninja vipers and pp cgs.

Finally wound up at Target in Milltown and bought the exclusive Hoth sets. The defense set is a little disappointing, would be better if it came with a different figure than the white droid. Attack set is okay though. $40 is a little high for these though, but not as grossly overpriced as say the X-Wings were last year.

TRU across from Woodbridge Center...Star Wars Force Unleashed pack 1.

Marshell's Edison...nothing.

Target Menlo...nothing but that crushed Jungle Viper is still there. But I did grab all the SW: Genosis packs I wanted Coleman Trebor, Joclad Danva, Roth-Del Masona, Rodian Jedi, Nicanas Tassu and a Commando Droid.

TRU: Express was a jackpot found all 4 of the Arctic HISS wave vehicles, but I did clear them out completely looks like they had only the one case, they also restocked the HoH figures, grabbed the BAT, Viper, and CG.

Next I hit Marshell's in Old Bridge on RT 9. and nabbed two more Python CG's two more Cobra Troopers, and 3 more Ninja Vipers.

Home Depot Old bridge...grabbed some lumber nails, and wood stain for a littlr Joe project I'm planning, I just am building a small tiered bandstand for displaying Joes.

I then decided that my luck had carried me enough and that I'd better get on what I was supposed to be doing...grocery shopping.

stopped at TRU express at the Paramus Park. considering its a saturday and it was noon-ish, i figured i would find nothing. but, they mustve just put out 2 cases of wave5 vehicles and 1 case of HOH. i picked up 2 stingers and 1 arctic hiss tank. left the others. passed on all the HOH figures, although i was tempted to get the another chrome faced viper.

then stopped at marshalls at the bergen mall, found 6 blue shirts and 4 python patrol CG.

one of the best hunts in a while - 10 figures and 3 vehicles for 85 bucks.

Good call, Owner, I'm pretty sure that's it. Looks like it's 75 minutes from my brother.

Their search function on the website sucks; they don't have any Joe's or Transformers, or anything else from Hasbro, listed. And what they do show looks pretty pricey.
