Dude! North Wildwood. I've been to his shop where he had 8 Bats for $19.99 a piece. I balked and told him I wouldn't pay that just because he can hit the chains earlier than I can. So after I fumed for a minute I chatted him and the other guy behind the counter up. We talked about upcoming exclusives and large items that took up space like the Millenium Falcon and the guy said he knows all about it 'caues he's the manager of Mays Landing Target! He even said he recognized me from coming in there everyday hunting.

I heard the same thing about the Walmart as well. But I'll tell you what... The manager of the Mays Landing TRU is ACES!!! I talked to him about "The Boardwalk Scalper" and he said he knows him, then preceeded to take me in the stock room where he pulled three single card cases off a pallet and let me dig in.

Millville Target - not 1 single card. a Hiss amd a Vamp.
Millville KMart - dvd packs (which are everywhere) a silver box cobra legions.
Millville TRU - nightwatch, usual pegwarmers and a cobra box with The Baroness stolen out.
Millville Walmart - A Hiss, Ram/ Flight Pod. The newest revision wave with like 4 python patrol officers, 2 CGs, Bazooka, Hawk, Duke, commando Snake eyes, and the usual peg warmers.
Turnersville Target - usual peg warmers.

Also, my very patient wife has found the virtures of purchasing 25th GI Joe's from Ebay...but are there any sellers I need to be wary of and who are some of the guys you trust?! I am very nervous about getting ripped off.

edit: snagged the SHARC and Firebat at Mantua K-Mart. $16.49 but I figured it's cheaper than BBTS and it'll save me the hassle of running around. VAMP and RAM/TB still there along with the three lonely comic packs that have been there all summer.

Another edit: Was all set to have BBTS ship my PoL after cancelling my backup Sharc/FB order when I realized that they had already put my backup wave 10 set in there. A buddy at a ocal comic/toy shop called me when they got their cases in! I got 2 Para-Vipers, 2 Bazooka Troopers, 2 BATs and 2 Wraiths (I plan on army building Wraiths as elite Vipers wearing cutting edge exo-armor). Paid $9.99 a piece but I'm not complaining.
Also picked up 2 Hiss Drivers and 3 Destro/IG comic packs.
Expensive day, but I'm happy as hell.

Only items I am on the lookout for are the TRU SRO packs - have they been found in NJ yet? I am a little hobbled in my TRU searches because the closest store to me is in the process of shutting down and moving. Until they are moved there will be no new stock, and I expect I am slow to the draw at the other locations. No rush for them as I expect they will be warming shelves in a few months, and I am already over my Joe budget with all the good stuff Hasbro has inundated us with.

OMG! You are sooo F""n right! I know of this guy who is a big Joe collector at Toy R Us in Freehold. The guy told others who work in the store that I was stealing Joe's because the idiot couldn't find any to army build but in turn he was the one hiding them from me and customers because he wanted to army build everything. He did get busted because he told the same other people that he loves to army build everything and that he was mad at me because I found a yellow Stalker before him in the same store. I'll be working again in the same store next week for the overnite shift. I'm going to make sure he gets his in a big way.

I stopped in the Shop Rite off Union Mill Rd. in Mt Laurel to pick up some creamer for work this morning and as soon as I walk in, what do I see.... a Wave 10 Wraith literally in the aisle right as you walk in. I about shit myself.

After some digging and asking an employee I walked out with 5 sets worth of Wave 10!!! They are all spoken for at this time.... I will post pics when I get home. I even forgot to get the creamer.....

Yea shoprite can carry them. I work for shoprite myself. I was playing with the order gun one day just typin in gijoe names and BAM they all popped up. I got so stoked I asked the non food manager to order them just to see if they would come in and they did. But they only came in as single figs and not in cases. It was weird. I forgot who came in but they sold within two days.

Hit up a load of shoprites yesterday and today and found some figs. Was able to pick up a bat and a bazooka trooper. Some stores had em, some didn't. I saw a mix of waves 8, 9, and 10, however I did see a wave 7 snake eyes with knives on his chest at somepoint. The stores I saw them at didn't have much stock so I assume they ordered only a certain amount or they had already been picked through. Any one else have any luck?

When I asked him how he had such great selection of Joe 25th Anniv. figs and vehicles, he took the bait...hook, line, and sinker...He replied that he and his brother did not use distributers or Diamond Comics to get their stuff...They went to all of the Targets and stores they knew of in Atlantic and Glouchester counties...He said and it might be paraphrased, "You wouldn't believe how many places I know how to get to..." Then he tried to sell me a revision Snake Eyes and grey Timber for 24.99....Just thought I would share.

I agree. Its a shame there are 2 or 3 scalpers in the Atlantic and Glouchester county area's that are making things harder for the rest of us. I have have used online stores in the past for my joe fix, but I still enjoy a good joe hunt. The way I look at it, is this guy at the comic shop with his $16 figures has saved me some gas money. I won't be hitting those stores for a while and I certainly won't be hitting his shop.

New TRU opened in East Brunswick, it is one of those Babies R Us/TRU superstores. Unfortunately the only singles are revision case w/ Iron Destro etc. SRO packs are wave 1 only, Wave 1 vehicles and W2 exclusive 5 packs. New TRU opened in East Brunswick, it is one of those Babies R Us/TRU superstores. Unfortunately the only singles are revision case w/ Iron Destro etc. SRO packs are wave 1 only, Wave 1 vehicles and W2 exclusive 5 packs. There is a new toy shop in Richland, Buena Township, called It's A Toy Shop or something...I stopped in to check it out and found out from the owner that all of the merchdise in the store is from his collection, his brothers collection, and a third persons collection. When I asked him how he had such great selection of Joe 25th Anniv. figs and vehicles, he took the bait...hook, line, and sinker...He replied that he and his brother did not use distributers or Diamond Comics to get their stuff...They went to all of the Targets and stores they knew of in Atlantic and Glouchester counties...He said and it might be paraphrased, "You wouldn't believe how many places I know how to get to..." Then he tried to sell me a revision Snake Eyes and grey Timber for 24.99....Just thought I would share.

I asked if he had any BATS and he said a guy just bought the 6 he had and then pointed the guy out. It was the Buena jackass. I went over to him and he tried to sell the BATs to me for $12 a piece. I'm tired of these resellers. The thrill of the hunt is gone. I've never seen a BAT on the shelf, I still haven't seen any wave 10, new comic packs or DVD sets at the retail stores, and now I hear wave 11 is hitting already? Jersey sucks.

they finished the construction about 2-3 weeks ago and had their grand opening. they did the toys pretty much dead last from what I gather. I was there 2 days after the grand opening, and they had all the gi joe wave 10 figures, the newest wave of dc classics, and WWE deluxe 16, all tough to find sets anywhere.

Monmouth and he makes sure that the thermal imaging and targeting systems for the Apache gunships gets to the people who need them. Recently, he and his wife had a kid with some complications and they spent 3 weeks in CHOP (ALL HAIL, CHOP!) But everyone is home now....so anyway -

For Christmas, I am building my buddies kid a 1:48th scale model of an Apache and the Michaels in Mays Landing was short on some of the Testors colors I need for the painting...

Is there another place in south NJ to get model paint?!?!?

Mount Larel and Vorhees Targets each had 4 battle packs on end caps this morning as well as a full case of wave 10 at each store. I don't see the battle pack being hard to find at the $60.00 price point.
