Me and another member from here search pretty much everyday searching for whatever is new and we have found absolutely nothing. Just our luck. But the cool thing about it is that we don't try to sell the stuff we help each other find what we don't have and we buy it for each other. Not to make an extra buck but to help each other out. That's what this section is all about. New Jersey Sighting It's to help those find what they don't have. To tell you the truth if there was a member here that needed something and they been searching like crazy for it and they still can't find it, but I know where there is one, I would ask him or her privately or in the open if they want me to buy it for them or even hide it for them and I would let them know where they could find it so they could buy it. If you needed something all you had to do was ask and most likely i wouldve traded or bought it for you at the retail price n have you pick it up like ive done with 5-8 other tankers here...but nevermind you are right and this is "gi joe sightings" and i wont put my gloating 2 cents in anymore. I feel your pain. My family and I are on the verge of buying our first home. Also, check out an online store called the outer limits. I love the Joe hunt but, I have resorted to buying characters one-by-one online.
Maybe the guys at the Comic Book shop on Rt. 9 can help you out.

Just got back from a little hunt. I definitely don't drive as far as I used to - with the price of gas, I might as well spend ebay prices and get something rather than waste a tank for nothing. Competition to get the fresh wave in my area seems to be getting stiffer, good thing I am pre-ordered at BBTS for the foreseeable future

After finding an annoying amount of W9 wild bills, I came across a full w9 minus BAT and Hawk and picked it up. First time I have seen any W9 at retail, aside from Ninja Ku. Saw two cases of vehicles at Walmart, picked up a HISS and RAM/Bubble. No signs of the DVD packs yet, but they are on the horizon.

Thanks for offering all of your help. I'm afraid that if I post a list of what I am looking for you will all laugh at me. I'm not doing vehicles, just the characters I had as a kid that are still in my parents attic. I would love to trade but I don't have extras - but I would pay you what you retail plus shipping...But, only if you have extras.
The problem is that I am a teacher and my summer time salary is much different from my school year salary. So, I have to wait until September to start again...

I know this is the Joe forum. But if anyone finds a Mighty Muggs Black spider-man (series 3) or Venom (series 2). I will buy it from you or trade you extra Joes for them. They are 9.99 at wal-mart, not sure how much they are at k-mart and target.

Also the Walmart in Hamilton had 1 beachhead and 1 zartan today. I think someone returned them. I check there a few times a week and they have had the same peg hangers for a few weeks now.

I still need wave 8 Commander, Baroness, Snake Eyes, Python Trooper and Bludd before I go looking for a Bat. The only one I have seen from that wave was Roadblock and I don't even want him. I can't believe the mass device cobra commander is not pegwarming!! I am also wondering what stores get a good selection of Joes. I've been to some Walmarts, Targets, and Toys R Us, but most have been dry or full of wave 7. I am in the south jersey area. If any one can help I greatly appreciate it.

I find most of my stuff at the Targets. I'm more central Jersey, so I go to Rockaway, East Hanover, and Morris Knolls.

I've also gotten good stuff at the East Brunswick TRU & the Milltown Target.

Wal-Mart is hit or miss for me, mostly better for the comic packs.

TRU is just starting to join the party.

welcome aboard! like most places around the country, i would say that SJ retail is pretty hit or miss, with no real rhyme or reason as to where/when to find Joes. for me, it's always just seemed like sheer luck. personally, i think i have had slightly more luck finding figures at Wal-Marts than Targets. as for ones that seem to get more new product... that is tough to say. but, i can definitely say that some seem to almost never have anything: the three stores in Burlington City (Target, TRU and Wal-Mart), Marlton Target, Berlin Wal-Mart, Lumberton Wal-Mart. I don't think I have ever bought a single figure from any of those stores. maybe others have had better luck there. i'll keep an eye out for the figures you're looking for, also.

Thanks guys. It seems wave 8 as all but vanished. I have seen a little of wave 9, mostly the Wild Bill without the 25th logo. I still like to hunt occasionally so hopefully they will turn up. I figure everyone is looking for wave 9 and the new vechicles, so maybe wave 8 will start pegwarming.

whereabouts are you located? farther south, i imagine. I always hear that Voorhees Target gets decent distro, although i have had no luck there myself. Deptford Target and TRU have always been busts for me as well. i made my first wave 7 score at the Turnersville WM, but haven't found much there since. the other places in that general area have been, as i mentioned earlier, pretty hit-and-miss for me. hope this is helpful for you. and like i said, i wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket... just keep checking around at various places when you have a chance.

I'm in the Williamstown area. I do recall stopping at either a WM or a Target in Turnersville a while back. Thats where I saw the wave 8 Roadblocks. Its funny, wave 7 is overloading some stores here and in PA the last time I was there anyway, but not wave 8. I do intend to keep checking around just not on a regular basis because of gas. If you guys want I will post my findings on here when I can. Is anyone looking for anything in particular or is everyone caught up?

I found the battle packs tonight at Target - seems they started the resets. A bunch of new Star Wars stuff and they seemed to spread the Joes out a bit more - at least an additional row of pegs. Hopefully they intend to fill them! I also picked up another HISS tank, looked like a pretty beat up package.

no, that's definitely not me. i collect Joes exclusively, and occasionally pick up a SW figure or two for a friend. i wouldn't buy a Hot Wheels or Batman item if it came packed with a brick of gold (no offense to anyone who collects these things). i do find stuff sometimes at the Marlton Wal-mart (on Rt. 70), but i don't think i have ever seen anything decent at the Marlton Target (on Rt 73), as i said in the quoted statement. as you reminded me just now, i did find some wave 9 at Burlington WM, but i didn't buy any from there (also see quoted statement).

anyway, my point has been from the start that it's impossible to pinpoint one store or group of stores as being better to frequent than others. you might get lucky anywhere, so try 'em all!

someone's been troop building with the hiss tanks. I've seen the other vehicles multiple times, but today was my first hiss tank sighting (riverdale target). scored it and both DVD packs. All that was left there as far as single figs were CC's (mass element and normal)

Target Manahawkin just opened a day ago. Besides having Wave 3 TF, they have all wave 8 (And one lone General Hawk), the 12 in, both DVD packs (I almost bought Revenge of Cobra. I did check out that store about a month ago. They had a few figures at about $20 a pop, a couple sets of the Target vehicles for around $95. Also had some moviemasters Jokers for about $175. There was alot of other collectables, but a little to rich for my blood.

It does seem Target and Walmart are stocking items more frequently. Maybe not the items we want to see or as frequently as we'd want to buy them, but I am seeing more than the same pegwarmers I have seen for the past half year.

While I am waiting for the next wave, I am getting hooked on building a clone army.... They are a heck of a lot easier to find!

I think I left TRU around 1:50, and then I hit Target. When I was in Target I found a lone Black Head Destro/IG comic pack hidden on the bottom shelf behind some WWE belts. Just happened to catch it out of the corner of my eye. I think an employee hid it, since the only one on the pegs yesterday was Tripwire/CC and there were none today from wave 5.

I was wearing a trucker style oakland raiders hat (mostly white). I was rushing, so I wasn't paying attention. I was only supposed to be going to Target for some odds and ends...didn't want the wife to get suspicious. LOL

I did a little hunting today and hit 4 Targets, 3 Walmarts and 2 TRU. Saw a few snow serpents - looks like W9 is being supplied reasonably well although BATS are still impossible to come by. W5 Comic packs are around as well, but it looks like Destro/IG (gold or black) are getting hoarded. Hopefully some IG army builders, I like to think they are going to good use.

I am not having too much luck here in central NJ. The closest TRU appears to be moving, and in preparation don't seem to be restocking (in fact their overpriced action figures are all 10% off - for whatever they have). So no greenshirts or siegies. No sign of any exclusives at the nearby Targets so either they havent shown yet or I missed the boat on the first round. Hopefully they will have a good stock replenishment at Target - those things (especially the rattlers) will sell.

got firefly /greenshirts yesterday, left the crimson 5-pack. also when i got the target rattler and conquest they were just sitting on the shelfs i ran the dcip # any to look for extra for my cosin but nothing in the centeral jersey area. did find that milltown taget had 10 ? in stock. told my cosin whom was working in the area and he got his rattler but the box was damage (no problam we both are loose collectors) he left the conquest and check for any more (of course) , but the lady there told him that someone came in and whiped them out ! hope it was some of you guys and not a scalper. happy hunting.

Took a trip to Bridgewater Target today - they had the Jets and I saw BATs on the pegs! Left them as I don't need any more, but nice to see for once. Probably gone by now.

Yeah, it is hurricane Joe out there these days. If I read the date correct, BBTS will ship out the 7 packs on Oct 3rd which is pretty close. We have no breathing room. Not that I am complaining!

I hope I got my firebat/Sharc order in to GIJCC in time, but I think I would have gotten them before the FANG/AWE. I am sure they will be at retail soon enough!
