Should have figured Voorhees Target would get on a day I was considering going but got called into work. Well Berlin Walmart probably won't get any until June or July. Thats why I already ordered Wild Bill, Spirit, SE, and one Viper on ebay.

I have yet to see a sign of Wave 7 around me. Usually it isn't far behind South Jersey, and I doubt scalpers or collectors have snagged it all. Rather than spend crazy money on gas, I have opted to ebay my army building. Considering gas prices, I will probably pay the same with the way I hunt.

I did see a heavy stock of wave 6 at KMart tonight. Too bad I didn't need any. Suddenly the $6.29 price they've been charging (and haven't changed) looks good compared to Walmart and Target.....

WB, SE and Duke were at Wal-Mart in Lumberton. The WB had a torn card, and the Duke had a bit of a smushed bubble. The MArlton Wal-mart had a few guys there, too. I got the Vipers and HISS Drivers, though.

That's probably because the Warehouse manager that collects G.I. Joes isn't there anymore. He always had first dibs and would hide everything so he would get them for himself when he had the funds to pay for them. I always had the toughest time getting stuff from that store. So that is why I always call that store first and ask for Steve. He's the guy that works for the boyz section and been there the longest...

I felt bad, fellow collector and all. (At least I assume he was a collector and not a scalper, since he was dressed nicely, and seemed like a nice guy.). So I gave up the extra Viper to him.

Seems the Targets in my area stocked up overnight with wave 7! I finally have a set! Menlo, Plainfield and East Brunswick.

Delran Target was fully stocked (looked like 4 cases) with wave 7 as of 10 am. Moorestown Target has like 10 SE's and a couple of jetpack Dukes, but somebody cleaned out all the Viper, HISS Drivers, etc. Marlton Target had 1 SE and 1 Viper with the card mangled almost beyond recognition.

I stopped in Walmart tonight to pick up some stuff for my new house. While I get there near closing time, I always check the toy aisle to see what new stock is in. A GI Joe case. The stocker snagged it and put it in his cart, so I figured I could wait a few minutes for him to put it out. I talked for a few minutes with a neighbor who works night shift and headed over, expecting to snag a couple vipers and a hiss driver. I pulled out a viper then dug in again. It was Cobra Commander! Wave 8 is in NJ! I grabbed them all and proceeded to checkout. Check your Walmarts the next few days.... Funny thing is I go to this one pretty much once a day for the past few weeks and never saw W7 hit..... Maybe it's making up for lost time. Happy hunting everyone

Dammm i just got back from a jersey hunt for my 1st time i went right over the Goethels Bridge and i couldnt find nuthing i scored the 5 pack g.i. joe boxset to complete all 3 of those cus i kept finding beat up ones of the joe version out here in staten then i hit a target was zero hit walmart zero and then i hit TRU where i found the 5 packs and the singles were empty empty and the comic packs like 3 scarlet and duke so the funny thing is i ask a manager about when they would get sum in and my luck he knew evrything about g.i. joe (not good 4 me) and he asked o u lookin for wave 8 with major blood and baroness i say yea in hope hell help me out and at the second i diddnt catch it but in a split second
i see the hasbro items come in a bunch of boxes in a stack but he tells me no single packs came in this load man come like saturday we should have sum in so i leave and i just felt like he might have been waiting for wave 8 and got me outa there so he can feast cus the way he knew so much about it who knows huh ?

the funny thing i was hoping at the most tonight to just find spirit and wild bill to complete my wave 7 and i might have gotten lucky and got wave 8 instead...... that sucksssss !

scored a near-complete set at Cherry Hill WM, then got the last one i needed (Bludd) at Marlton WM. There wasn't much of wave 8 left on the shelf at either place, but there was a TON of wave 7.

Wow, someone must have snagged the other Bludd in the less than 40 minutes between when I left the store (7:20) and your trip. There were 2 cases of W8 and one of the W4 comic packs when I got there, as well as plenty of W7. I picked up Bludd, Flint, PP, and CC (just for the element, like a dumbass). Also nabbed 1 of each CH/SW and Duke/RS packs. Almost picked up FF/SS, but couldn't justify $10 just to get a darker FF.

A full row of Vipers. I was stunned. Of course I wasnt interested in them, as I only want Baroness, Flint, and Bludd, so I left them. And as I was leaving some guy started to grab a bunch of them. As for Comics, besides the same Scarlett two pack they had Ace and Dreadnocks. But those are everywhere now.

Has anyone spotted the wave 4 comic packs in Jersey yet?

i've seen them at 3 wal-marts and 2 targets in South Jersey.

Scored shipwreck/copperhead x 2 and firefly/stormshadow x 2 comic packs in north jersey walmart. Someone beat me to the red star and duke packs. Who would have thought those would be the one to sell out. They also had 3 cases of wave 7 but all that was left was 6 snake eyes and 3 vipers. Bought the vipers of course. :D

A friend called me to tell me they had the wave 4 comic packs at the Target in Rockaway. The TRU in Livingston had gotten in wave 8, but by the time I got there all that was left was Roadblock. They also have a ton of the Senior Ranking Officer 3-packs if anyone needs them

Saddle Brook. I check there from time to time. Usually the majority of the time its empty pegs. The last wave i saw there before that was wave 4. I can't believe i missed 3 cases of wave 7. Really wanted some more hiss drivers. I always seem to be one day too late to check for restock. Man these figures sell fast.

Me and my brother in law just came from the watchung NJ walmart to find out when the new wave will arrive (or at least new joes to be re-stocked),his best friends sister is one of the managers there and she told us that on July 5th they are expecting to recieve the new hasbro toy wave(plus a re-ship of wave 8 sinle and two packs). He said she was in charge of putting them all out on that morning and it be better to come back her walmart since 97% of other walmart's employees and shift managers/managers will problably leave all the new stuff they have to put out till the end of july since they hate re-doing the panel-grams . Im going there on that day since most walmarts have really bad customer service,like really bad till the point they are known as "Ghetto Marts"...i will have to drive 37 mins and waste a bit of gas,but the service in this walmart was exceptional. If you live around there i hope to see ya on july 5th 7am sharp.

Dont bother going to the woodbridge one,theres this really creepy guy ill call "ronnie",who goes there ten minutes before the store opens. sad but true (not saying that im there that same time,its just one day i got tired of going there to find nothing,not even pegs,and i thought "maybe some guy is getting there really early,and lo n behold,some dude with a ponytail,captain america shirt and ripped jean shorts with a big ass list was there.... Not if you dont know how to look,you do the basics like check the feedback (any more than 2 or 3 negs and i never bid),make sure the shipping is worth it,you just have to know how to search specific keywords and especially how to use the tools they have.. ive bought pretty good lots off of there because new sellers never follow one of the golden rules. always list your item at 10pm or 11pm,and espcially on a saturday or sunday..ive won great lil 8 or 12 figure lots by waking up at 4 am when something good ends...ive gotten joes cheap by just simply emailing the seller if i could have it first class instead of the priority thats listed and earned myself the 3 bucks... its all in how you look at it pal. if you want to get good joes where at least paypal can cover your ass if you dont get what you want,sadly its ebay. its at a time where its great for buyers.

Today was my birthday, so my brother and I both took the day off of work and went on an ultimate joe hunting adventure. It started at 9am and we had managed to hit 5 stores before the clock even struck 10am. This is where things however got real interesting… In my pursuit to get to the Toys R Us just as it opened I decided to fire up the car and bolt it down a very quiet street. As I juiced the vehicle down the deserted road, I noticed the flashing lights that creeped up behind me. License and Registration he said, and I knew I was fucked. Not only did he have me double the speed limit, but also an expired insurance card, which he didn’t hesitate to give me a ticket for as well. All in all this day really hit rock bottom. 300 dollars in fines and no Joes to show for it after the aggravation of hitting at least ten places. The frustration at this point was at an all time high, but me and my brother agreed lets just hit one more area for stores. This was the big score!!!
Eventually I finally found the entire wave and more at a Wal-Mart. When in the parking lot I saw an individual that I knew to be a scalper from past run ins. Being that he was out of shape and without any physical prowess I managed to get to the aisle before he even got to the doors. They had about 3 of every wave 9 figure; even though I only had the intention of buying one of each, I picked up all of them and walked around the store until I saw the scalper leave at which point I returned the remaining two to the shelf. I hope this enables a avid Joe collector/fan to get there hands on them rather than scumbag looking to turn a quick $10 profit. In any case the end result of my Joe hunt today:

back on target: i did a mini-run after work today and found absolutely nothing of interest at Targets in Moorestown and Burlington, Wal-marts in Burlington and Lumberton and TRU in burlington.

Targets here are pretty empty went to Middletown and Linden and they had almost nothing. Even stopped by a Sears Essentials and Kmart what a waist of time and gas!! Called TRU in Iselin and the lady told me we have 28 on the pegs. Stopped by and all they had was the Officer 3 packs.

Gonna limit my run again. Not worth it.

not much to report on my hunt this morning. snagged a set of wave 9 (minus Torpedo and Wild Bill) at Marlton Wal-Mart. they only had one case worth on the shelf. Burlington, Moorestown, Cinnaminson, Delran, and Cherry Hill Wal Marts and Targets were all wave 9-less, and nothing else of interest. Cherry Hill TRU had about 3 cases of wave 7, though, if anyone still needs that stuff. Burlington Target also had some wave 7.

Gotta love afternoon stocking!!! The following stares had wave 9 as of 2:30-4:30 today!

- Fairless Hills PA Wal Mart - 3 cases (I took 2 sets and the extra BATS and Snow Serpent)
- Bristol PA Wal Mart - 1 case (only Hawk, BBque, and Ninja Ku were present)
- Burlington Wal Mart - 1 case (I took BATS and Snow Serpent)
- Lumberton Wal Mart - 3 cases worth (Only 2 Hawks, 3 Ninja Ku, and Bazooka left)
- Delran Wal Mart - 1 case ( I took BATS and Snow Serpent)

All of these stores had MULTIPLE Wave 7 cases as well, with as much as 4 cases worth at Oxford Valley!

TRU Cherry Hill - Series 9 Wild Bill, Bazooka, General Hawk and one set of vehicles that were crushed.

Wal-Mart Delran - 2x Series 9 Wild Bill and Torpedo, with 2 empty wave 9 cases in the bike aisle.

Target Delran - they were resetting the aisles and 2x Series 9 Wild Bill and Torpedo and a BOAT LOAD of wave 7 were on the shelves. They also had a set of the vehicles, as well as all of the new Star Wars figures in a cart. I asked about the star wars and was told it was going in the back and will not be sold until August 26th??

Wal-Mart Bristol - BINGO! 2 sealed cases of Wave 9! I asked the older woman in toys if I could buy some of the figures and she was very nice, but did tell me a story of how she hates the people that wait at the door in the morning and "walk-fast" to get to the toys. The way she described one of the younger guys that comes just about every morning was priceless. I ended up taking the BATS and Snow Serpents, but left everything else.

How did you accomplish that? You would have had to buy 20 figures from Target at $7.99 get the receipt then use that receipt to return the 20 vipers. Last time I tried Target wont take things back without a receipt..... I believe that is their policy.

by the way: if there are any Star Wars fans that want to see the new Clone Wars medium-sized vehicles (V-Wing, etc.), check out the Cherry Hill Wal-Mart. they have a set on the shelf. i tried to buy a V-Wing and a Torrent for a friend and they wouldn't let me. it came up "restricted" and the register lady said i couldn't buy it because it was "on recall". oh well... maybe if one of you guys have a connection at that store and you collect Star Wars you will have better luck

well from what i recollect Target has the same upc code for all joes (or at least here in the nj area), i had 5 reciepts of 45 figs(all wave 9 figs) from a previous purchase. the 20 vipers i returned i bought at walmart for $6.83,so when i went to the target in linden i got 7.99 for each of them. If you have any figures you bought from walmart at that price,return them at target and let them know that they can shove thier stupid price hikes n "collectors warning" up thier rich asses.

I stopped by the Hammonton WalMart this evening and they are STOCKED with Wave 7, when I asked an associate in the toy section about getting more recent figures he said he did not know when they would be in or stocked. I asked him shipments coming in based on computerized inventory based on register sales and he guessed that if that was the case the Wave 7's would sit there until someone bought them, does that sound right? Will they clear the shelves and up newer stock out?
