This is also fine by me. The only thing is i just dont think there are tons of those POC waves you mentioned collecting dust and waiting to be pumped out to stores to fill this 9 month "gap". The impression seemed that the POC waves just werent made in the volume as other lines were. I hope i am wrong but i just dont think they are out there.

If this means new POC/30th stuff well that i could live with.Or even new and unreleased cancelled stuff mixed in with existing POC/30th stuff, if its available,thats fine too.

As of now though this is all just conjecture and only time will tell. This is really fucking crazy, its gonna be an intersting ride gentlemen.

Trust me I was suprised...there is no spot for Joes, just a single Duke laying on some Batman stuff.

I went to Toms River Target and picked up a HISS Tank and the Dojo Battles ox set, there is the Ghost Hawk left and three 3 packs. In addition, the Skystriker is at $24.50 or so there now, if it gets to about $15 Ill buy one but for now I cant afford to pick it up as is. TRU also has the smaller vehicles out (Fang Boat and 4 X 4).

Well a first in 30 years no matter how bad the line got I never did this before...BUT I returned Joes.

I brought back the Ghosthawk II it just completely sucks...its actually less than the quality of some of the TRU True Heros vehicles and the Duke pilot is of the same quality as that brand.

Similarly I returned the Awe Striker frankly it has been done better before which I have, and since that is the case I have no need for the Snake Eyes figure...it went back.

I also returned the single pack SE and SS, mainly for two reasons...1) the Amazon packs are pretty much the exact same figures, and 2) he three pack versions come with better gear.

That is depressing. You know, I like the HISS Tank quite a bit. Yes the driver sucks and there is not working treads and I miss the fold up feature, but I prefer the top cannon of this one to the back compartment of the previous. Plus its nice to have HISSes in Black, Brown, and Blue (and I suppose Red).
Edit: Now that there is this rumor of all products being returned, I highly suggest you go to your local Target and pick up what you can now. By the looks of it, most of South Jersey Targets are stocked with all of the merchandise. By my personal opinion, these are the figures you should get:
The Dojo 3 Pack with Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Red Ninja (Best bang for your buck almost $6.50 a figure with an excellent Snake Eyes who I am really debating on replacing my POC)
Cobra Commander (Black)
Zartan (Only if you want a Renegades version. For the movie the cancelled Vosoolo head POC Zartan is your best bet)
GI Joe Trooper (If army building Joes is your thing, at least get one)
HISS Tank
Single Card Red Ninja (Worthy enough for a double dip)

Everything else is worth waiting for December or January. Dont get movie Roadblock yet, wait for Wave 2 inevitably. I can't stress that enough.

As far as I can tell, Target in Sicklerville didn't return any Retaliation merchandise. Looks like they had everything out there. I nabbed a Red Ninja and the not-Slice 3-pack. I'm hoping someday Hasbro (or, more likely, the club) does a decent V1 Kamakura.

I was set to order within minutes of it becoming available. But it wouldn't let me because the site insisted that my membership had lapsed. Renewed in February, got my Footloose, can log into the club site, but the registration site didn't care. Called the club, no answer of course. I like the design of the HISS better than the POC one, but find that where the body attaches to the treads comes apart about too easily. And it would look a lot better black.

Maybe someone will cast a fangboat gun to replace the mongo launcher on it. Beside that, it's another water moccasin repaint. And the driver is the best of the crap articulated figures, and looks fine piloting it where you can only see his head.

Stafford Walmart has the entire first wave (Blue versions of CC and GI Joe Trooper) for only $8 and change! Wow, thats a bit easier to swallow, even though I have everything I wanted from the first wave haha. They also had Movie Masters Alfred (which I bought) and there are a few Super Poseable Spider Men left too, which might be the best 4' figure I own. The articulation is nice and not floppy at all. Excellent and something every collector should own.

I think Dollar General is the only chain they've been seen at. Coincidentally, I drove past one today on another errand, turned around, and checked it out. Not even a spot on the pegs for them. I haven't really been looking since I only want a trooper out of this wave and it's not worth running all over trying to find one.

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately that's kind of out of my area (around Newark). The inventory links for Target all say "Out of Stock" for my area. The Strikefire isn't something I was really interested in buying, but for $9.99 I'd pick it up.

I wasn't too interested in the strikefire, at 29.99 at least. The cabin and turret are cool, but the bike ramp loses it. If the bike bay were bigger and could be used for troop seating it would have been awesome. But at 9.99 (which I haven't seen it priced since) it was worth it.

I own an auto parts delivery route here in Jersey and i specifically did stops today that were near Targets, lol. After hitting like 4 with no luck i finally found the tread ripper and ninja combat cruiser at the Sommerville target.

The ninja cruiser is pretty good but i havent decided yet if i am gonna make them cobra stingers or not. Either way, painted or outta the box(less the asian symbol stickers), this is an awesome vehicle.

Btw the figures with both vehicles(tread ripper,ninja criuser) are horrible. They are literally only worth their heads for customs.

The bodies should be melted together into a flaming ball of oozing plastic and whipped at an unsuspecting hasbro employee.

Also you aren't missing much with the Tread Ripper, which is why you probably didn't pick it up when you first saw it. The HISS scout is 100 times better. The clutch head is probably the best part. Similar to the retaliation HISS, if the guns swiveled up and down it would be much better. As is, it seems like it should be a kids meal toy

Joes from the Target in Milltown have disappeared completely and other targets in the area seem to have put them on endcaps (if they are still there).

I'll probably sign us for the FSS, and in the meantime while waiting for more Joes to come out I started getting heavily into MOTUC. A lot more expensive per figure, but at least no army builders!

No re-stockings at all. I got one set in perth amboy weeks and weeks ago. I got another set but it was upstate ny, and then i just missed a set in cranford dg, but again this was all weeks ago. This was also the only times i have ever seen em around our part of the world. I have gone back to these dg's, except the one upstate, and other ones that never had em and none have re-stocked.



It sucks when i hear about all these other cats in like texas and mid america getting tons and tons of re-stocks, but us degenerates hear in the sesspool we call the tri-state area get dick.

You would never tell that TRU bought Kaybee a few years back, it seems more the opposite with TRU's prices! At Raritan TRU they are holding at 9.99. Wasn't it a year ago that they were 7.99?

I stop by that TRU once every few weeks and I will keep my eyes open. The TRU by my house (East Brunswick) hasn't gotten any new Joes since Retaliation was hitting.

I'll be at NJCC as usual. I have a good time. I bring my seven year old and we just peruse and buy whatever seems cool at the time. There are deals to be had, and he loves the junk bins. He pulled a perfect intact set of Insecticons out of a crap bin for $4.00.

My wife scored at a yard sale this past weekend. She bought in great condition (missing only a missle here and there) a brawler, a missle cruiser (the black and neon green one), a battle bunker, and an earthquake for...get this...$1.00 EACH. My kids shit the bed.

Well....long decision in the coming, but I will not be at NJCC tomorrow.

First time missing it.

The bottom line came to a pretty simple fact the past few years have not been great what with paying for back to back funerals and losing both the full time and part time jobs to compaines closing up. I then spent 9 months of 2009-2010 unemployed.

Since then I have found a full time job that gave me some messed up hours whihc did not allow for me to get a part time job.

But have not recovered at all since all that went down.

The final decision came down to a credit card bill, and car insurance being due the week before NJCC.

That being said I simply had to do the responsible thing and decide NOT to come to NJCC.

Hopefully spring will bring better things, and I can hit that one.



And here I was hoping to show off my new Tee Shirt which features Carl Weathers and Arnold's massive arms in Predator that just says, "DILLION....you son of a bitch"
