i never had a problem with em, and i find them to have lower prices on things i needed compared to other online competitors. i just got 5 techno vipers from them, and the price was legit, i also got 6 sky strikers and again, the prices were legit. i have nothing bad to say about smalljoes. i know some do, and thankfully i have never had a encounter to where i thought different than i do.

I didn't try to wait it out - I preordered a case at BBTS when they first came available. Saved me time and gas money from hunting, and money as well when thinking of TRU prices.

I do miss the hunt though, but I am always checking the nearby haunts just in case.

I visited the Rockaway Walmart and found that they had 1 Zombie Viper, 1 Scarlett and a load of Renegade Dukes, CCs and SEs.

I picked up the Zombie Viper since I was looking for one to customize. The zombie sculpted parts are cool but I actually found myself liking the uniform and huge Cobra symbol more.

I like that clear helmet and plan to use it for another custom too.

Target in both Fairfield and Riverdale have Renegades Duke and SE.

Walmart in Riverdale does not carry G.I.Joe

TRU in Livingston is strictly Crimson HISS

Well broke down and ordered the case from HTS. Honestly I'll be keeping the whole case except Ripcord (which I have already).

This way I have the complete set (although I think Stormshadow is not part of that case) and can stop chasing them...should I find any at retail then it will all just be gravy.

I just can't see retail restocking a ton before the movie toys hit...I really just expect a drought...this way if I'm right I have 'em...if I'm wrong well then I have a jump on getting my troop builders.

These stores are absolutely ridiculous. The only place I got anything was the two resolute packs at Hamilton Ross. Nothing since. There's three Destros and one Firefly at SB Target, and they haven't restocked and don't know when anything is coming in. FUCK

I went to Big Lots in Iselin back in 2007 after I joined the 'tank and saw people were finding stuff. All I found was some old pre-25th single packs. Glad I never wasted my time going back.

Now that I have started opening the Dreadnok 7 pack, I will have to dig out my unopened Zarana and have her join in. I haven't put the old 'Noks next to the new ones but expect they will look kind of crappy in comparison.

Unless Hasbro announces some new stuff before Retaliation stuff hits the stores, I am done with their Joe stuff and don't need to see it at brick and mortar. Good thing I am not holding my breath waiting. Now if only GIJCC would get their act together...

I went to the fall one the year before last. It's a pretty good show. I picked up my Thundermachine and a couple other things there. I plan on going this spring

The NJCC in Cherry Hill last fall was really really good. The best part was the exclusivity of TF and Joes only. Pretty much everything I was hunting showed up on a table one way or the other. My six year old also snagged some great stuff. I am psyched if Destro puts another one together.

My local comic shop just purchased a mighty fine collection from someone...I have been tasked with the job of breaking this collection down and identifying the whole kit and kaboodle fo the collection.

Which once I am done he will then be selling...clearly he has done ebay and will go there again if he has to, but being I am the pointman on this stuff, once I get through the collection and break it down...I can give everyone here a heads up on what is there, and you can cut a deal with the owner and pick it up at the store.

I can say from a quick look through the seven large boxes, I can say there is some great stuff.

Off the top of my head I saw a complete Dreadnok Stun, a Create a Cobra sealed in bag, in its orginal shipper box with file card labels and booklets.

BTW the Toy Show that was on sunday in Voorhees was very productive. Avoiding the toy train and matchbox car crowd (and holy "s" was it crowded and cramped), there were bunches of Joe and TF tables, both vintage and new. Nabbed MOC Lifeline, Airtight, Law, Zombie. Vintage MOC 1990 BAT. Bin after bin of loose but very good condition V vs. V and Joe vs. Cobra bagged with accessories which my son picked through and cleaned up on for playables. Otherwise, a good show if you were close. The NJCC site is back up with a May date. North jersey pals, this one is worth the drive, trust me. Bring crates of cash.

Well, hopefully all these sightings at the Targets are a good sign for us boys. Keep fighting the good fight

I guess once we get a month or two out of the Christmas season Target starts restocking. They are out with the old, in with the new on Star Wars. Hopefully they will be in with the new on Joes soon, although all those renegades SE and CC's on the pegs may slow them down. No grey dots on the Joe price tag. Good to see they have more wrestling figures on order though.

Well Joe wise there is nothing in the Mays Landing, except for the fact that the Walmart randomly had two 30th Black Dragon Helicopters, surprising as they dont carry Joes anymore. Foreshadowing?
On the non Joe side, Target Mays Landing just restocked everything else, including the entire Vintage TPM wave (FINALLY got Darth Maul and I got a Qui Gon thrown in thanks to my Hasbro coupons), Transformers Prime (Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, and Wheeljack. No Soundwave sadly), and THE AVENGERS (Hulk, both Thors, Captain America, two Iron Mans, and one Loki. If I didnt find the helmeted Loki for $9 at New York Comic Con I would have been as gitty as a schoolgirl, though I do prefer this one's Cosmic Cube staff).
