I found at Seigen lane Target an entire wave 5 with an extra Crimson Guard to boot. The wave 5 there wasn't even in the system and I had to go get the price for another figure for them to ring it. The wave 5 are in Baton Rouge now but they are rare and hard to find at this point.

Wave 1, 2 ,3 figures are everywhere around here but limited to a select few of them. The hooded cobra commander, buzzer serpentor, shipwreck, storm shadow, red ninja and of course the cobra trooper. I bought out pretty much all the legions packs in the area when they went on sale. Wave 4 I found one and left it sit at a Wal Mart last week it was a Snake Eyes. That is the only wave 4 figure I have saw in town.

Both Targets in Baton Rouge are carrying the whole assortment of wave 1 comic packs. No wave 2 comic packs yet. The only comic pack I really wanted was the Hawk/Scarlett and mainly that was for Hawk.

The two Wal Marts carrying figures are Cortana and O'Neal outside of that I haven't seen any at the others for 25th anniversary. Toys R US has been horrid at best they really don't have anything. Toys R US looks to have quit carrying the carded singles all together. I did get three older viper pits so now I have 18 vipers.

Sigma Six I don't collect but noticed at the Seigen lane Walmart a discounted Toxic Zartan and Crime Boss Destro. All in all it's a free for all in Baton Rouge. Just went and checked Cortana and they are blowing up the entire toy section. I only found 3 pegs for Gi Joe. I'm sure they are going to be reworking and restocking for awhile. Toys R US also have almost nothing again. I have checked O'Neal, Seigen and Cortana Wal Marts today and both Targets + the Toy R US. Guess I'll have to wait and find the comic two packs wave 2

Seigen Walmart now has the wave 2 of comic 2 packs. I've been going there the last three days checking and finally I got wave 2 comics. Yeah they had two more sets so if you are in Baton Rouge better run in the rain and grab them. Now I need to find some more Crimson Guards and maybe next month wave 6.

Found Wave 4 of Gi Joe at Seigen Target this morning. What was funny was again they didn't have them in the system so they wouldn't ring. The cashier said they were $3.99 each and rang them up that way. So I got 8 figures for $32. They are supposed to be $5.99 each but I wasn't going to argue. Now I have Waves 1 - 5 all the 5 packs and Comic Packs Wave 1 and 2. Wow Baton Rouge is heating up. Just got to keep an eye out.

Not really shifty just as ordinary guy. But I've seen scalpers before and you can tell the look in there eye is one of greed. LOL No scalpers are noticeable because they are always picking up triples of transformers and joes which are not troop builders. For instance one time I saw a scalper picking up a bunch of Gi Joe peg warmers all of them were the exact same 6 buzzers. What are you going to do with 6 Buzzers?

Went on a gambling trip to Louisiana. In Shreveport Wal-Mart found wave 3 comic packs. bought 1 segie and scarface pack plus air trooper (2x).

I went to the TRU on Florida tonight, and they had plenty of comic packs, as well as both of the 5 packs and 3 packs. The only single pack figure was Beachhead, strangely. I also went to the Wal-Mart at Cortana, and they only had the wave 4 figures (minus Storm Shadow, of course), plus a lone hooded Cobra Commander and the usual bunch of reject comic packs. . .plenty of Chris Paul figures, though, for those of you who haven't bought any yet :)

Went to Metarie last night and there was nothing anywhere there. It my wifes and I date night and I made some stops. I stopped at one Wal Mart and the store manager or some of his employees are scalpers. He said he has a few guys who just stock the joes for him. He said Harahan Wal Mart has had to call the police because Joe scalpers and collectors where fighting over Joes. This seems a little excessive. I think I will stay out of the New Orleans area these guys seem a little hardcore.

WOW! That is crazy but funny all the same, LMAO. My little old WM here hasn't gotten any Wave 7 in yet. I have been checking every morning when I get off work since it's within 2 blocks. I think I have a good chance of finding a complete case when they arrive, because these Joe's aren't selling real well here or atleast I don't think there are any scalpers. I get off work at 6a and WM opens at 6a. It's not a 24hr WM.

I've checked on ebay at locations selling the Wave 7 and the nearest is Alabama and Texas. Still keeping an eye out.

Went to Great Wall tonight, and stopped in the Wal-Mart. One Snow Job and one Rock N' Roll there. I have a sneaky suspicion that come a few months from now, Snowjob will be what Firefly is now. People will be clamoring for him, asking, "why didn't I buy one when I had the chance!? Now he costs 20 dollars!" That figure is awesome. Everyone should be buying him!

Also, I have been to many a Joe section in LA Wal-Marts, but never saw a fist-fight break out. Fist-fights between 30-something geeks over toys. Hilarious imagery :)

O'neal Walmart had one case of Wave 7 and I grabbed them. So they are now appearing in Baton Rouge. The cards were jacked up bad and the vipers like I said on another post were a dissapointment but I really loved Wild Bill, HISS Driver and Snake Eyes. These were well done. Spirit was so so but looks like Conan.

Forensic I suspect serious scalping in your area. I talked to some of the stores down there about getting in joes. The Wal Marts in the Metarie area have told me that they have some people who come in and stock the joe section at no charge to the store so they can get the new stock.

Huh, the only single packed figures that I ever saw there were Lady Jaye, Buzzer (he's probably still there :) ), and Shipwreck, going back to last July or so. I just assumed that they didn't get many Joes for some reason.

Oh well, I would have just picked up a Viper anyway, so I've got no reason to go. Thanks for letting us know, though. I still haven't seen any wave 7's in person. . .c'mon BBTS case!! You can't ship here fast enough!

Milerville Target got the Wave 7 today pretty much cleared out though. They only had 1 Spirit, 2 Snakes and 1 Duke. Not much left. It seems like they are only getting two cases per store.

I checked the Covington WM and Target a few days ago only to see a lone Scarlett and Cobra Commander (mask) at Target. WM still had the revision case (about 15 figures). I am stopping at my local Bogalusa WM in the morning. Last time I checked (5 days ago), they had about 10 figures of the revision case.

All these stores are fully stocked with the Comic 2 packs.

On a good note, I received my Wave 7 figures in the mail yesterday. My son had to have the Spirit, so it's the only one opened right now. Need to find another one for the MOC collection. Glad to here they are making there way. I feel that WM will not put out the wave 7 if they get them until the revision waves clear out, though.

Wave 7 and 8 is in Baton Rouge at Seigen Target. I just picked up some more Vipers, Bludd and of course the Python Officer. Left the rest of wave 7 and 8 including the HISS Driver.

Found Wave 8 at my small non-super store Walmart about 1 hr ago. The whole set including a Wave 7 Viper with the cartoon sticker. Spent $52.22 on all 7. I haven't seen Wave 7 in this area, but I already have it from the internet.

Just got back from Slidell. The TRU had the Senior Ranking Officers X2 with Cobra Commander. They had one GI Joe 5 pack with Cobra (baroness) which my son had in his hands for a while but put it back for some Narnia figures. They had double of every Wave 2 figure except for Beachhead (had none). Also they had two of each the Snake eyes VS. red ninjas and two Night guards.

Very tempting on all except the wave 2 stuff. I just drained this weeks allowance on Wave 7 and 8.

Also the WM in Slidell had some Wave 4 figures. About 6 total and a ton of 2 packs.

Saw some of the lesser wave 8ers at the Siegen Wal-Mart today: 2 Python patrollers, one of the Cobra Commanders, and a 1986 Roadblock. In other words, all the ones that I don't want. They also had a Viper and jet pack Duke, plus a couple of others, I think. The Target had nada except comic packs, of course. College Drive Wal-Mart, surprisingly, had a few single carded figs: Zartan (?), Cobra Commander, jet pack Duke, and a Viper or 2. I'm surprised to see so many Vipers just laying about. I got two with a case from BBTS, and don't really want any more.

I found the Wave 7 revision case at my local walmart lastnight. I picked up:

Wave 5 Snake Eyes
Zartan printed color change
Firefly
Viper x 2

For some odd reason I left the Wave 4 cobra commander. I figured I have about 5 repaints of him and that was enough. I didn't see the wave 7 Spirit or Duke though I don't know if this case came with 6 or 8 figures. So, within a week my local small Walmart has had Wave 8 and Wave 7 revision. I'm sliming the pegs down. I think there are about 8 single figures total left on the pegs and a peg full of comic 2 packs.

EDIT: I am 100% sure there are no scaplers in this area. Both of these cases sat on the shelf a good 24 hrs before I saw them. Maybe that makes me a scapler for buying them all. LOL

Target Seigen had a RB Wv 8 and also CC Wv 8. The lone Toys R Us had a ton of buzzers and the revision pack with beach head and lady jaye. Millerville Target had nothing but Buzzer and a couple of wave 1 comic packs. O'neal Walmart had nothing but wave 4 figs. They seem to be ordering in small amounts and leaving the pegs empty or almost empty for weeks then ordering a case or so of figs. No sign of wave 4 comic packs. Just got to look today since the wife wanted a specific type of hair dryer no dice on that either. I am in Baton Rouge and the Joes are scarce except for wave 4. They need to order more than a case or two every month lol.

Found another complete set of Wave 8 at my local WM lastnight (6-6-08). They must have stocked it on Thursday night, because Thursday the pegs were empty. I purchased a Major Bludd, Snake Eyes, Flint, Python Officer, and Viper. I left the Roadblock, Baroness, and Cobra Commander on the pegs.

I was going to pay the scalpers on ebay for the Major Bludd, but glad I didn't.

I saw some wave 8 figures at the College Drive Wal-Mart today: 1 Roadblock, 1 Baroness, and 2-3 Cobra Commanders. I picked up Baroness, but regretted it since she has some paint missing off of her nose :(

They also had the Transformers Animated Starscream and Bulkhead $20 figures there (with beat up boxes) if anybody here is interested in that.

Looked in the Houma Thibodaux area today and didnt find anything but older comics and the typical single cc, scarlet, and roadblock. Still no sign of wave 8 or the newer comics. Good thing for online resources.

I talked to a Houma Target employee today who is always at Target it seems. I asked if they have been getting and Joes because I havent seen any new ones in a while. He surprised me by telling me that they have but people have been going there just about every morning looking for them. He even has people calling from New Orleans.

Wave 4 comic packs are at K-Mart in Gonzalez along with some wave 7 Duke, Bill and Snake. I found wave 8 baroness, cc and Roadblock at the Wally in Prairieville I bought nothing and left all since I already have them.

Toys R Us on Airline has a bunch of the red ninja 5 packs and also the nightwatch. In addition the 3 pack senior ranking cc, cobra officer and trooper along with the joes are overflowing the shelves. No one wants them for some reason maybe it's because there has been so many cobra troopers and officers floating around and no one knows what to do with the CC's.

Wave 8 is warming the pegs here at WM. They got two cases in which is 16 figures. They had 4 figs hanging. I purchased 2 PP officers, 2 Bludds, 2 Vipers, and 1 SE. There are 11 figures left, so I'm about the only one buying these.

I'm starting to believe that GI Joe Fandom is starting to fall in Baton Rouge. I'm seeing less of the new stuff and the old cramming the shelves as interest has declined. New items seem to be ordered in less quantity than before. I still am finding tons of Wave 4 and a little bit of the CC's from Wave 8 everything else is gone or not being replenished. It seems the new cases they get in are only 1 or two at a time. I believe this is due to the old stuff clogging up the shelves. Merchandise seems to not be moving rapidly as it once was here in Baton Rouge. Wave 4 Scarlett is a real peg warmer along with CC and of course Buzzers everywhere.

I checked both Targets in Baton Rouge and all I saw were crickets. The old wave 1 comic packs along with a wave 8 cc and a wave 4 cc at one and only the packs at the other. Walmart on O'neal beautiful wave 4 2007 figs scarlett and the Gung are hanging out along with their other buds. Toys R Us here in Baton Rouge has loads of officer 3 packs and several ninja and night watch box sets. I hope they eventually discount the 3 packs at this point. There is no way those are all going to sale.

I won't be checking Millerville Target for awhile. They have just made a loud statement on what it thinks about joes. They have did a reset and there is one peg for singles and one for comic packs. Of course the singles are buzzer the comic packs are the Duke and CC ones opened in in the back for Doc points. They have expanded the Indy and Star Wars figures along with TF animated. Has anyone else been seeing this at other stores.

My local WM still has 3 pegs with 13 Wave 8 figures warming. There is one peg for the Comic pack with about 20 collecting dust. I haven't been to Covington, Slidell, or New Orleans in a few weeks. I'm going to clear about 8 of the figures out at WM to make room for Wave 9.

If you need the Red Star Duke let me know and I will sell it to you at retail + shipping in town or we can meet. I did this so a scalper wouldn't snag it since it was only one. Also rememants of wave 8 left there.

Wave 7 popped up again at Seigen Target. The fig prices now say 7.99 I left a Hisstank driver and two vipers hanging because of the new price.

Well, I got one Major Bludd and one Roadblock at the local WM. I asked one of the workers if they expect some more joes in. She said they have 16 ordered (2-3 cases depending) and they should be in tonight. I am going to check in just a bit and see what shows up. I didn't notice the price increase and if so, I think is getting at the end of the road for me and the new Joes. Probably will just buy them selectively for my son to open.

Found wave 9 at my local WM. Found it and wave 7 on the pallet and opend wave 9 myself so it never saw the pegs. I only walked out with BAT, Snow Serpent, BBQ, and Bazooka. General Hawks card was un a U shape and I don't care for the black Storm Shadow or the Torpedo/Wild Bill.

I didn't touch the Wave 7 case. I never saw it at this WM the first time around and had to internet order it.

They increased the price from $6.84 to $6.97.

I will try and get some pictures after I get off work at 2am.

Got Wave 9 Today in Baton Rouge. From the looks of it I got the only box of them. I happened to walk in at Seigen Walmart at 11 AM there was a the pallet being unloaded. I couldn't believe it. They had a complete set of Wave 7, 8 and 9. I bought two extra vipers and also a Hiss Tank driver. So not a bad haul.

Went to WM tonight and someone(s) bought 6 figures today. Mostly the ones I was going back to get. So, I guess I'm not alone in this small town. They had 18 last night and tonight they have 8 left. Comic packs are still abundant and priced at $9.97.

Took a trip to Lafayette to go baby shopping and stopped at the Wal Mart there and found two cases of wave 9. I just grabbed the B.A.T.S and the Snow Serpents and left everything else hanging including the Ninja Ku. So if anyone is that way you might be able to get them there. That was the only place I found them in Lafayette. So now I have 3 B.A.T.S and 3 Snow Serpents. Which distribution was more even.

I'm not from here, but I wanted to give you a heads up on what I found. I am on my way back to GA and stopped at the Wal-Mart in Shreveport. It was off exit 10 of I-20. They had some Wave 9 there. I picked up some, but there are some still there. The only ones they didn't have was the B.A.T.S and Snow Serpent. They also had Roadblock v2. Good luck hunting. I'm in Mississippi now looking. My buddies in Atlanta are upset, because they can't find anything there.

Sucky trip, good thing I mainly went grocery shopping. Scarlett seems to be a peg warmer in these parts. No sign of wave 9 and I doubt they every had it. Glad my rinky-dink Walmart gets the newest waves within one week of sighting. I still haven't seen W4 comic packs around here. If any of you guys find extras, I might be interested (at retail). My WM is stacked full of wave 1-3 comic packs. Later.

My local walmart pegs are empty and they have inventory tags hanging on them. I'm guessing that they should have them restocked by this weekend. They have been pretty good with keeping new Joes on the pegs from what I've seen out of the last few months.

Hey all, new to the forum. I'm over here in Leesville - stationed - not from. I mainly buy the Joes for my son, but I love 'em too. My Local Wal-mart only seems to have single figs and comic packs. Over the past couple weeks I picked up Wild Bill, Torpedo and Spirit. The store still has: tons of C.C.s w/ Mass device crystals, Baroness, and Vipers. No sign of any vehicles and I've checked here and the Target, TRU and 2 Wal-Marts in Lake Charles. Either Joes are movin out fast or not comin in at all.

Nothing new here. The pegs have been empty for about a week now and that is not like them. I'm thinking someone has stashed the ones that were left and their computer still shows some for sale. I'll be checking back in a few days.

I had to go to the Wal-Mart off of Florida today. That place is freakin' ridiculous. They haven't had anything except the stray wave 4 figure for several months now. Has anyone seen a single wave 7 or 8 figure there? I wonder if people are buying up the entire cases, if they just refuse to unload the cases they have onto the floor, or if they aren't receiving new stock for some reason?

O'neal and Cortana Walmart have not stocked in months. Millerville and Seigen Target get occasionally a new case every now and then. College and Seigen Walmarts are usually one case per new wave. Seigen did however get more Wave 7 and 8 but it looks like the past month this has stopped also. I managed to get a case of wave 9 at Seigen but that was when they were unloading and this is all they have had. It is real dry around here lately and makes me wonder about distribution

My local WM has dropped the ball big time. They haven't had a new case on the pegs in about 3 weeks now...ever since the first case of wave 9. I went there yesterday and they have decreased from 3 pegs to 1 peg. They stocked the other two pegs with WWE micro men something. This just sucks. I guess I will not be finding newer things anymore because I figure the last peg will be taken over with WWE stuff too. I just wonder who is at fault here....Hasbro or WM?

I'll have to resort to online ordering from here on out unless something changes around here.

GI Joe Armidillo and Chariot is at both Targets. I also got the DVD packs today at Seigen check other post about the lying Seigen Target. I am returning the other set to Millerville since they did tell the truth and did not have them in stock. Also both have the 12 inch figures.

Wow, I guess since they couldn't sell the peg warmers they just figured the whole line was dead. Ah well back to the rest of the world where the figures sell out minuets after hitting the peg.

This may be old news for some but, the gods have smiled on my podunk town!
Was getting an oil change at Wal-Mart here in Leesville today and lo and behold! All four of the vehicle packs! Picked up all but the Armadillo/Air Chariot - just didn't like it. My son will be pleased! No new single figs tho... Talked to an employee the other day and he said that they're coming, just to keep an eye out.

Well my Wal-Mart is 2 for 2. Got the vehicles yesterday, which they had completely RE-stocked by today! Also picked up Snow Serpent, BAT, Bazooka, and BBQ. Passed on Ninja-Ku tho -I need another Storm Shadow like I need more C.C.s, Dukes, or Destros. Oh, and they had all the 12" ones - passed.

Wow, Leesville is about a 5 hr drive from here, but glad your finding some good stuff. I checked my WM today and they have moved the Joe pegs to the other side of the isle. But at least they still have pegs. I've seen nothing new for about a month now.

Just on a whim, went by on Saturday and got both DVD packs! Oh, and one of the employees said that a lot of stuff was buried by all the "back to school" stuff they got in and, they're gradually getting to it.

Got the new Target exclusives today at Seigen the only set they had. I will tell you all Millerville has a set in the stock room so get them if you can. BTW still no power ahhhhh 13 days and counting

I got power back on monday at 10pm then lost it on Friday at 12:30pm and got it back saturday at 3:30. Sure glad i have a generator and window unit. Found the new comic pack at local walmart no BHD.

Seigen Walmart and Target nothing but lots of wave 7,8 and 9 revisions. Millerville nothing but revision waves grabbed the flash with white border. The Millerville Target also has the Conquest left. I managed to snag two sets of jets one open and one to display. Going to Toys R Us but doubtful because last night they had a bunch of the FF vs Green Shirts and the CG 5 packs along with more Revision wave joes. Ahh the horror of seeing so much wave 9 when so little was available for so long.


Update Toys R Us has nothing new today lots or revision cases all of the comic packs from 1 - 5. Also Cortana Walmart same old thing Wave 4 from last year and tore up hooded CC and of course a few of the Wave 7 figs. Also no new comic packs at Cortana. O'neal Walmart is the only place not checked and I doubt they have anything. Wave 1 vehicles warming up the shelves everywhere also.

Final Update for today: Nothing new at O'neal except revision waves, Denham Springs Wal nothing and Walker Wal tons of vipers and even some more revisions. That is every store in the area.

The Super Wal Mart in Jefferson restocked the 2 packs and I finally snagged a black mask Destro.
Target on Veterans Hwy received another shipment of Rattler and Conquests. I got a Conquest (I already had a Rattler).

I'm sorry to say but nothing but revision cases everywhere. I have saw the some of the new vehicles at both Targets and College drive Walmart. BTW the toysrus is also nothing but revision cases.

Guys I hate to say if but all the vehicles so far are out there in the stores. Even the X30 and the Rat. The problem is CP's and the Singles nothing new except rev waves everywhere and on top of that wave 1 DVD packs. The new Toys R Us 5 packs abound and the new 3 packs are nowhere to be seen. All in all we are not seeing wave 10 till Jan or at all and Wave 6 CP's till about that time. Good luck guys I just have been ordering from the net.
