The owner at Collector Maniacs (on Waialae Ave across from Toys N’ Joys) said he was getting 9 cases of Wave 10 this Wednesday (10/8) along with wave 3 of the vehicles (Firebat, etc.). I think the figs will be $9.99 each and the vehicles are $29.99 each. (update: newer vehicles like the Firebat are actually $22.99, while older ones like the Vamp and Hiss are $29.99)

Last Wednesday (10/1) he got in a bunch of wave 8 (artic Snake Eyes, etc.) and wave 9 (BAT, Snow Serpent, etc.) cases, 1 case of Wave 10 (w/ regular wraith) and two sets each of the new DVD packs (Dusty, Quick-kick, etc.).

When I went back the very next day all four BATS at $12 each were gone (first time I saw a BAT), the whole set of Wave 10 at $9.99 each and all 4 new DVD packs at $29.99 each were all gone. :( (update: restock of BATS at $12 each)

He also has a bunch of older (non-popular) silver foil figs like Snow Job and Stalker peg warming. The same 6 Armored Cobra Commanders (silver foil) has been peg warming at $12 each for like forever.

Toys R Us has plenty of the Crimson Gaurd 5 packs, but are all out of the Firefly vs. G.I. Joe Troopers. Like most places they have plenty of the DVD Packs. Their shelf is full of the old blue Cobra command 3 pack and Joe 3 pack. They've got a bunch of single carded figures but have unexpectedly raised prices to about $10 per figure! Mostly left overs from wave 8 or earlier. $10 for a single figure compared to $25 for a 5-pack or $10.99 for a comic pack is hard to accept.
Walmart has the same old comic packs and DVD packs 1 and 2 in ample amounts.

Mechahawaii in Kaimuki (about two blocks from Toys N' Joys in a secluded alcove across from Gymboree) is having its 3rd Annual Customer Appreciation Night next Saturday (10/25) from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm in which all of his American toys will be 3 dollars off. He has a bunch of G.I. Joes for $9.50, so if you need some of the lesser popular figures this would be a good time to get them. Last time I went he had some Stalkers, Snow-Jobs, Jet Pack Dukes, Snow Serpents, Black Ninja-Ku, Bazooka, General Hawk, Firefighter, Viper, Cartoon Roadbloack, and the usual peg warmers.

Okay, lets see... This past Wednesday (10/15) Ala Moana Wal-mart got in two cases of the revision set that has IG Destro, Crimson Guard, Spirit, TF Flint, Python Patrol Officer and Black Snake Eyes. I went there at around noon and there was one Black Commando Snake Eyes left... I couldn't believe it! I finally got my Black Snake Eyes. Yay me. LOL. I went on Tuesday too, but they had nothing, so maybe this store puts out there G.I. Joe stuff on Wednesdays.

Pearl City Wal-Mart got in three cases of the above set Yesterday (10/17), but of course, all the Black Commando Snake Eyes were already gone. This is the second time I've seen this revision set here, and it was on a Friday too, so maybe Fridays are the best day to check this Wal-Mart out. Oh, and last Sunday (10/11) this Wal-Mart had a single Firebat with a box that was just damaged like heck, so I guess the new vehicles are here.

Visited Kunia Wal-Mart today and they had the usually peg warmers from the above revision cases, but they also had a Snow Job with the new comic logo. I'm not sure what this means; it might mean that the revision set with the Snake Eyes w/ Timber, Firefly, Flint, and Wave 1 Storm Shadow might have been there, if so then it should be hitting every other Wal-mart soon. Hope so; that's the revision set I'm waiting for.

Mechahawaii is probably the best place, that I'm aware of, on Oahu for single carded figures. The really do have a good selection. And if you can't find something at MechaHawaii, Toys n Joys and Gecko books also carry joes and are about a block away.

Toys R Us just got in the Wave 5 comic packs! Too bad I ordered mine from hasbrotoyshop a little while ago. Not recent enough to know about the latest 20% off promo code, but recently enough for the fall20 code to have expired. They also had most of the battle packs there and the first two DVD packs.

Where are DVD packs 3 and 4?!?!! No where on the island that I can find. At least we're finally able to walk into stores and find more than the same old selection of wave 2 and 3 comic packs.

I like Mechahawaii because they don't charge sales tax, so it is easy for me to figure out exactly how much money I am about to waste. LOL.

Gecko Comics actually got in a single case of Wave 10 way back on Oct. 2; I was stunned. LOL. They didn't have anything new for Joe stuff in ages. All that's left there now is a Tiger Force Duke for 12 bucks though.

Collector Maniacs was the only place I ever saw the new DVD Packs with Dusty and Quick Kick and less than 24 hours later they were all gone, but they were 30 bucks each so that's too pricey for me anyway.

I'm not worried about the new DVD Packs because I think they will eventually arrive at K-mart since K-mart is the only place that has only a couple of the older DVD Packs shelf warming. I can't believe K-mart got wave 9 and the Wave 5 Comic packs at all (WAAAAAAY later though, lol). This bodes well for the future I think. Less people visit K-mart than Wal-mart... probably. LOL.

I visited the little toy/collectibles shop called My World across from the Ala Moana Shoppoing Center parking lot in search of some Joes, but all they had was a vintage ARAH Maurader vehicle inside of the box for 50 bucks and a cool six pack of vintage ARAH Vipers (the one that comes with a single gold visor Viper) unopened in its original plastic case. It didn't have a price tag and I was too chicken to ask how much it cost. LOL.

Collector Maniacs got one case of Wave 10 on Wednesday (10/22), but somebody already bought the Wraith and Para-Viper, but there was a Bazooka Trooper, Croc-Master, and Mutt and Junk left (for $9.99 each).

Also went to Ala Moana Wal-Mart on Wednesday (10/22) and they had two Firebats and two Hisstanks for $18 bucks (and change) each.

Went to the Mechahawaii thing Saturday night (10/25) and got myself a General Hawk and a Beachhead for $6.50 each. G.I. Joes for $6.50 each with no sales tax... GREATEST THING EVER. LOL. He must have got the new revision case earlier that day, but all that were left (that interested me) were 2 Beachheads and a Firefly.

Went to TRU this morning (10/29) and they have a new end cap display and got in some Wave 5 Revision 4 cases. It was so cool to see a Snake Eyes w/ Timber, a black Commando Snake Eyes and a couple of Armored Cobra Commanders hanging on the pegs all at the same time. Unfortunately, I already have both Snake Eyes so I left them hanging. I needed Wave 5 Revision 5 to hit because all I need now is a Wave 1 Flint; hopefully Wal-Mart will get them soon.

Pearl City Wal-mart (10/29): nothing new, except a couple of Hisstanks, a Firebat, and a Desert A.W.E Striker which some guy carried away under his arm right before I got there.

Ala Moana Wal-mart (10/29): nothing new, except the pegs are pretty much empty now; last week they were full of revision peg warmers. I wonder what this means? Will check back tomorrow to see if they put out anything on the empty pegs.

Nimitz K-mart (10/29): they had a Sharc, but I don't know why anyone would want to buy that vehicle. LOL. They also had a Firefly and Stormshadow comic pack. And I noticed they raised the price of the singles from $8.47 to $9.19... Damn, not good.

Ala Moana Wal-mart still didn't get any new G.I. Joe stuff today. (10/30) Maybe tommorrow... or Saturday... or never. LOL.

Went to Mechahawaii today (10/30) and they had some Wave 10 figs there, but they only had one Mutt and Junk left and all the Wraiths were already gone. But they did have some Crocs, Bazookie Troops and Para Vipes left for $9.50 each.

And apparently Collector Maniacs got in a few cases of Wave 11 yesterday (10/29) because when I stopped by today all the Eels and Matt Trackers were long gone. (Why in the world would somebody pay ten bucks for a Matt Tracker? LOL.) But they did have four each of Pilot Scarlett, Cobra Flint, Zartan and Airborne. And all the Para Vipers got bumped up from 10 bucks to 12 bucks.

Went to Mechahawaii today (11/5) and they had the Cobra Extreme Condition Sets for 42 bucks each. Somebody already bought one of the Arctic sets so they had 2 of those left and 3 of the deserts ones. Man, they're so cool looking up close, but still out of my price range for Joes. Oh, and he also got in some of the repackaged Venom vs. Valor G.I. Joes; poor guy, he ain't going to sell a single one I bet. LOL.

Went to Kunia Walmart yesterday (11/4) and they just got in a whole bunch of new Joes. *sigh* Unfortunately it is the WORST revision wave possible... the dreaded wave 6 revision 3; that's the one with wave 7 Snake Eyes, Rock' n Roll, Roadblock v2, Major Blood, Hiss Driver, Python Patrol Officer, Armored CC and Mutt w/ Junk.

Man I can't believe they skipped wave 5 revision 3 and gave us this crap. *shakes head* They did have a Fang and Claw though, first time I saw that vehicle.

Went to Pearl City Walmart yesterday too (11/4). Yup, the dreaded wave 6 revision 3 with the wave 7 Snake Eyes and the rest showed up there too. *deep sigh*

I think our Wal-marts missed their chance of ever getting the wave 5 revision 5 cases with the wave 1 Flint and Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes w/Timber if they already moved on to the crappy wave 6 revision 3 ones.

I think TRU is the only place that will get wave 5 revision 5 because first they got wave 4 revision 5, then just last week they got wave 5 revision 4, so wave 1 Flint should be coming up next... should be... *crosses fingers*

LOL. Sorry, can't help you on that one. LOL.

But if you ever get to O'ahu... Waialae Ave. in Kaimuki is a pretty good place. You got Toys N' Joys (a little bit of everything), Collector Maniacs (lots of current G.I. Joes), Gecko Comics (all kinds of Comic related toys) and Mechahawaii (kind of hard to locate, probably got to ask one of the workers in the previous places, but it has lots of Joes and TONS of Transformers and no sales tax, lol) all within a two block walking radius.

Purposefully stayed as far away from Mechahawaii as humanly possible because if I ever saw that Arctic Extreme Condition set again I know I would buy it. LOL. The plan is supposed to be that all I need is a Wave 1 Flint and a DVD Pack Lady Jaye and I'm done... until single pack Falcon comes out. LOL. I'm pretty sure they will be all gone soon though and I can go back to visiting Mechahawaii. LOL.

Just came from Toys R Us, and they are stock full of Joes, but it's all peg warmers. A bunch of COBRA COMMANDER and TRIPWIRE, IRON GRENADIER and DESTRO, NEMESIS IMMORTAL and LT. FALCON, comic packs. Some old Wave 1 vehicles. I checked those hoping to perhaps find revised Tiger Force Duke style arms, but alas, to no avail. Still lots of the Cobra and Joe SRO 3 packs. Have yet to see the new TRU 3 packs in the store.
They did have that F-22 plane that people have mentioned, and it's just $25, which is an amazing deal considering that it's less than the price of 3 figures at TRU.

LOL. Before I never looked twice at the G.I Joe Jeep or Motorcycle, but now I find myself checking each one for the corrected arms. LOL. And I'm not going to buy any of them either... I just want to see it with my own eyes. LOL.

Collector Maniacs in Kaimuki is having their 11th anniversary sale (11/8 - 11/16) in which all their figures are 10% off. They have lots of B.A.T.s for ten bucks each and all the Iron Grenadiers (w/ Destro) Comic Packs were reduced to 9 dollars flat. Now would be a good time to Troop Build methinks. LOL.

Apparently Kay-Bee in Kahala Mall sells G.I. Joes too because my older brother bought his son a Snow Serpent from there because his son saw me playing with all my Joes and wanted some of his own (so proud, lol).

I cannot wait until Target opens up in March... $4.99 G.I. Joes... So Jealous. LOL.

Went to TRU today (11/12) and they put out a single case of Wave 5 Revision 4 which included Armored CC, Jet Pack Duke, Snow Job, Black Commando Snake Eyes and Snake Eyes w/ Timber, but I left them hanging.

I am pretty confident now that the next wave they will get a couple of weeks from now will be Wave 5 Revision 5 with the Wave 1 Flint because they are the only place releasing the Revision cases in order. Of course with my luck they will probably skip that one like Wal-mart is doing.

Collector Maniacs got in a couple of cases of Wave 12 probably yesterday (11/12); they always get their stuff in on Wednesday. The 10% off is still in effect, but Wave 11 is now $10.49 each.

Only had one Python Patrol Crimson Guard left, but there were TONS of Cobra Divers. Man, but bonus wave or not; IMO this has to be the worse wave ever.

Stopped by Toys R Us and found they had a typically lame selection of Python Patrol Officers, Wild Bill, Tiger Force Flint, and Spirit Iron Knife. At least these peg warmers were reduced back down to $7.99, they used to be almost $10. They did have a few of their exclusive 5 packs, but nothing new.

Was pleasantly surprised to find Pearl City Walmart had a better selection. They had 2 firebats, 2 Hiss Tanks, and a FANG/CLAW pack, each selling for $18.35. Pyramid of Darkness DVD packs were $22.96, and single carded figures were $7.87, while Comic Packs were $11.38. They had a wide selection of Comic Packs, but mostly all old stuff. It was cool to see the FANG/CLAW on the shelf, though I already got mine from HTS.

This walmart also had a good selection of Star Wars and Transformers toys. I ended up buying a Star Wars Grand Admiral Thrawn/ Talon Karde Comic pack which I had been eagerly awaiting to find in stores.

I noticed that all the new G.I. Joe stuff seems to be put out either Tuesday or Wednesday morning at TRU and they do not last the day. Last Wednesday I went when they opened and they had some Snake-Eyes w/Timber, Black Commando Snake Eyes, Battle Armor CC and the rest. Went back the next day and all that was left from the revision batch was the Jet Pack Dukes, TF FLints and Spirits. There are always the same two guys that are always there when TRU first opens and they seem to do a toy run in all the rows picking up the new stuff (including G.I Joe).

I went to TRU this morning (11/18) and they had rows upon rows of G.I. Joe... *drum roll* ...Combat Heroes. LOL. The poor single card section was reduced to two almost empty peg rows in the upper right hand corner.

Yah, Ala Moana Wal-mart got the new Star Wars Comic packs on Saturday (11/15). They had the one with the White Darth Vadar, the twins with the clear lightsaber and red armor and the one with Darth Talon.

I remember a while ago Pearl City Wal-mart got the newest Star Wars single card wave; the one that comes with Ahsoka Tano. There were tons of her too and I couldn't make up my mind to buy it or save my money for Joes. I thought she would be a pegwarmer so I waited. I went back the next day and she was all gone. I never saw her in any other store again. LOL.
