I have just about given up on finding new Joes at retail right now. Wave 10 hasn't hit GA yet and as far as I can tell neither has the wave 6 comic packs. HTS and SmallJoes.com have gotten a few orders from me as of late. All I really need at the moment is the comic packs and maybe a regular Wraith if the one I get tomorrow from HTS is also clear.

There are new Transformers everywhere in my area. There is 3 or 4 case if not more of Animated Deluxe wave 4 at my local Wal-Mart, so many they have put 2 or 3 cases worth next to the Voyagers. They even have wave 3 Universe Deluxe and Voyager class figures yet the store hasn't had any new Joes since the 4 cases of wave 9 they put out just after the rest. In their defense they haven't sold all those wave 9 figures yet but that hasn't stopped them before.

Just got my sro wave 2's from my tru.com order. Just like the wave 2 dvd battle packs, the paints suck. My ace is worse than the comic pack version if that's possible. My Quick Kick and Major Bludd were really bad. I've now got to wait to find them in retail and swap them out for better paint jobs. It's too bad, I'd really like to crack this open and fiddle with Skyduster. I do like the deals from online ordering but I can't pick through and find the good paint jobs. Catch 22!

That is the down side to ordering online. So far the only real problem I have had with my Joe's I have ordered is my Serpentor from the DVD pack has a defective right arm that won't turn very much but that isn't something you could see by looking at it in a store. The only reason it turns at all is the rubbery peg is deformed a little and the outer part twists while the part connected to the upper body stays in a static position. My TF Duke I got from SmallJoes.com has a bad spot on his right hand and the paint has chipped on his nose.

The SRO sets I got from ToysRUs.com are nice in my opinion. Besides it cost me less than it would to drive 100 miles one way to find them, assuming they had them.

Just got my HTS order for Wave 10. I'm happy with the condition of the cards and figs but when I turned Mutt's over and saw that his rank had changed to an E6, I had to sigh. Then I looked at TF Duke and his rank is an E6 too, though it still says "(first sergeant)". WTF!? Why can't get Hasbro get these little details right? I mean these things cost money and yet they can't seem to hire a proof-reader. It's not a novel--it's a file card for christ's sake. You mean they can't hire someone who knows something about GI Joe to look over these things and check for errors. It's just downright annoying. I don't understand...oh well!!

I got my wave 10 yesterday from BBTS. The para-vipers are nice. I love the croc master figure and the tigerforce duke also. I'm not to sure how I feel about that Wraith figure.

I dont care for him but I havent picked up the comic. IMHO, the new comic is crap I hate what they did to Hawk, Flint, and Lady Jaye which I am glad i didnt pick up the comics. But that is me. He is a cool fig but I am not opening him.

These consisted of Flint/Snake Eyes wTimber/Stormshadowv2/Snow Job/Beachhead/Firefly/Snow Serpent/Stalker and I think that is it. This thing was in a huge box containing two display pieces which I now have. :) While think this is kind of cool. THere are now about 50 old waves of figures clogging up the shelf space and will probably last until the end of the year or longer.

Also the new 12 inch were there. CC, Duke, and Beach Head.

That's cool but confusing. Did you get the Wal-mart Gi joe display? Or did you get a Gi Joe pack that came with display pieces?

It seems to be a Wal-mart endcap/sidecap display. There were two green cardboard boxes with 4 hangers that hold 3 figures each (12 total in each display). The G.I. Joe logo is at the top and on the sides. The stocker took all of the revision figures out and was going to trash the green boxes bc they were not using it on the endcap. I asked if I could have them and she said go for it.

looked at Commerce Walmart today.

Joe wise, all they had were wave 1 vehicles (all of which had somewhat crushed boxes), the first two dvd packs, and some revision figures like IG Destro, CG, commando Snake Eyes, and Python Patrol officer. I did find a revision Sgt. Flash though and got him, which was pretty cool.

But they were pretty barren as far as most lines were concerned besides GI Joe, especially transformers wise.

It's about time the Senior Officers wave 2 hit GA. If you don't have enough Vipers you could always buy the wave 7 Viper/Iron Grenadier comic pack. It looks like the Viper and Iron Grenadier are unchanged from their first releases also and for just $3 or $4 more it is a great value. I'm personally looking forward to buying about 8 of these if I have the money and can find them.

Has anyone seen wave 10 yet? I already have a set (including both Wraith's) I got from SmallJoes and HTS but I know there has to be people still out there looking for them. What makes it worse is wave 11 just hit retail and it seems no one in GA has seen wave 10 yet at retail.

I have been looking every 1-2 days in the Alpharetta / Roswell area. I look at TRU, Target, and WM and have found nothing at all. Almost every day, I end up wasting away half of my lunch hour tearing down Mansell back and forth. Nothing at all. Target has had the same three figures since Monday and are fully stocked on EVERY other toy in the department. WM has had a very decent stock, but it's all the same. (Baroness, Bludd, tons of Wild Bill, Snake Eyes ver. 1, CC, TF Flint, Duke w/jetpack, CG, Road Block ver. 2, PP Cobra, etc.) TRU has had about the same 30 or so for two or more weeks from the same case assortment as WM. These two stores have ordered waaay too many of the same cases, and seem to be holding out on new product because they are slammed with old stuff. By the way, TRU is having a sale of up to 50% off tomorrow (Friday), and Joes are included...cool for those of you who missed some of the older stuff. I'm expecting that Target on North Point will have stuff by this weekend, because they only have the 3 on the racks. Maybe one day...

TRU and WM also both have Flash and IG Destro too.

Someone probably goes to that Target around 8 am'ish checking it. That would explain why it's still that graveyard of 3 figures all the time, yet nothing new is ordered. Next time you stop in try checking a figure at the scanner to see if anything's in back. Usually it's not, but still...

Don't go by what Target.com says. They check by DCPI# so since all the DVD packs and Vehicles have the same DCPI#s it will say they are in stock.

I was at the Buckhead Target just a couple of days ago and saw nothing good. I'll check again on Sat. I saw the same thing on Target.com, so I decided to ride up to Target in Morrow on my lunch break to get a Firebat on Monday. I got there and saw nothing new at all. Got po'd that I wasted the gas and time driving up there. The site said it was in stock. Yeah, in the back. Oh well, just seems to be the norm here in the Atlanta area. Hard to believe TRU doesn't have the new waves yet. There is a distribution center here in Atlanta.

Yes I declined them since I have way too many. I bought the 2 flints with cartoon logo (which is a lie) and left one on the peg. I am looking for a snake-eyes reissue of wave 7 with the knives on his chest with the Comic logo. I am willing to trade. Here is what I have: Snake-eyes Wave 7 25th logo, python patrol officers, ninja ku, mutt & junkyard, Tiger force duke, Crocmaster. I also picked up a Wave 7 CC with the red crystal and with a comic logo which is a real error. The earlier release said it was Cartoon.

Nice haul. The CC w/ comic logo might be from one of the refresher cases (b/c Hasbro loves to keep all the other CC's collecting dust company). Do the cartoon logo flints have fixed arms? I'll keep an eye out for those snake eyes figures, there might be one at the perimeter mall walmart or peachtree road walmart.

Guess what I found at Target @ cumming? Wave 11 Zartan sitting on the peg. I went to Walmart across the street and found 3 Flint reissues and the usual peg warmers. They also had 3 snow serpents. Yes I declined them since I have way too many. I bought the 2 flints with cartoon logo (which is a lie) and left one on the peg. I am looking for a snake-eyes reissue of wave 7 with the knives on his chest with the Comic logo. I am willing to trade. Here is what I have: Snake-eyes Wave 7 25th logo, python patrol officers, ninja ku, mutt & junkyard, Tiger force duke, Crocmaster. I also picked up a Wave 7 CC with the red crystal and with a comic logo which is a real error. The earlier release said it was Cartoon.

Don't go by what Target.com says. They check by DCPI# so since all the DVD packs and Vehicles have the same DCPI#s it will say they are in stock.
So are these ASIN and DPCI numbers useless for searching Target Inventory? I did notice that the Schumanfamily site doesn't even recognize any of the ASIN numbers, but the site isn't working today for some reason.

I made some interesting finds last night at the Eatonton, GA Wal-Mart. They had two wave 1 Cobra Officers on 25th cards, wave 3 shipwreck w/ anchor on 25th card, wave 4 Destro, Duke, and Cobra Air Trooper on 25th cards. I left all of them. I just thought this was weird since they weren't there a couple of weeks ago. They also had all of the revisions, but no new vehicles or comic packs.

I also went to the Milledgeville Wal-Mart. They had a wave 4 Scarlett on 25th card, a few General Hawks, and a IG Destro revision. The good news is that they finally got in the new vehicles. They had 1 Firebat/AVAC and 1 Fang/Claw. I left both because I have limited cash right now. I have seen about 5 AVAC's and the paint is terrible on all of them. Is anybody else having this problem?

Also, Kohls will be getting new shipments in today. The lady was unsure if the new Joes would be included or not. If anybody sees them at Kohls in GA please let me know.

I hit all of those places this weekend as well. I did luck out at the KMart on Tom Hill in Macon. They had the Black headed Destro comic pack and all of the new vehicles. I picked up the Destro comic pack to keep on card and the Snake Eyes w/ Timber revision. I still haven't purchased any of the vehicles because every fang set I find has paint problems and I am yet to see a fang with the cobra head on its sticker. Are all of them like this? Also, AVAC's body looks decent but his head just looks cheap.

Jason, the only wave 10 I've seen was at the WR TRU this past week, but I doubt any of it is left. However, knowing that TRU, their usual pattern is to get one case a week for three weeks straight of whatever their latest wave is, so this coming Friday some more might show up. I've got everything I want from the wave, but I check the store at lunchtime Friday every week so I'll shoot you a PM once I've been by there and let you know if anything turns up.

It's hype; it's not a variant, it's a number that tells you which side of the mold the gun came out of when it was made. This is the same thing that they ('they' being the speculators and AFA) did with Doc.

But, I'm sure you could sell it on EBay and make at least enough to buy several more EELs should you choose to do so.

Also scored the UBP at Target in Marietta off of Johnson Ferry...they still have 5 of them...you have to ask for them up front or call store and hold as they are not out on the shelves yet. I checked around and these things are all over the place. Johns Creek is showing 12 units in stock!

Went to the Target off Sidney Marcus and they had (1) UBP. Went to the Walmart on Windward and Hwy 9 (Cumming) and they both had Mutt/Junkyard figures there (no other wave 10 figures). I left them both.

Overall, today was a Joetastic day.

Just curious, has wave 10 every shown up in the greater Atlanta area? I've only seen remnants of revision cases that had a Mutt. I always figured they'd come out and I could pick up a clear wraith but that's just not the case. Anyone had any luck finding these at alternative places like Kroger or Kohls?

I got the Transformers Animated Deluxe and Legends at the East Savannah Target Friday night. They have them in the back and only have one set left. They also had 1x G.I. Joe Conquest. The TRU had 2x Titaniums War Within Prowl but no Grimlock. I saw a few of the 25th Prime at one of the Savannah Wal-Marts.

I scored the new comic packs at the Target at Atlantic Station. As far as the Fang/Claw and Awe Striker, try the Cobb area. I have found them there and in Alpharetta. No SHARCs ro DVD Packs. I did find a Cobra SRO (Iron Granador) set, but I let Godzilla have it. It is the only set I have seen to date.

i've only seen the IG set too. Sadly TRU around here got in way too many of the earlier 3pack sets...then got backstabbed by hasbro constantly putting out troopers & cobra commanders...hell there's even the 3pack set with IG's in it, and then the IG 5pack set on the shelf right beside it. not too smart.

oh, and i've only seen the newer vehicles ITP except the tan AWE striker.

Just got back from Family Dollar. I didn't pick up anything as I thought it best to wait. The store is like a half mile from my house so it not truoble to get there. The have a good many VvV Aces, Televipers, Baroness's, Dustys, Sand Vipers, Stalkers, Night Creepers, Storm Shadows and Snake Eyes and I think that's it.

I saw all of wave 11 at the Towne Center Super Target on Friday. Stashed a few behind the Wrestling figs. If you don't move them, you won't see them, could be all gone by now. But that Target seems to always have new stuff when I hit it. I pre-ordered mine, but they haven't shown up yet. Typical.

Still have never seen a Firebat or Skyhawk.

The Sky Hawk isn't out yet but should be very soon. Sucks about the Firebat though. HTS has it in stock so that is an option if you have to go that route but hopefully you will find it soon.

Maybe things are looking up Joe wise in GA. Seems like lately several of us have had a little better luck. Maybe I will find wave 6 comic packs soon then.
