Spotted gold Destro CC at SWM on 92 and Trickum. Is that considered Marietta or Woodstock? I picked up the CC/Tripwire. They also had BBQ, SEswords, Ninja Ku, and Bazooka. I must have missed this shipment, seems like I found leftovers. At least the Vipers and Dukes were still there, Phew!

Aww crap. I just saw this as I just got into the office. I was there and picked up a set after my lunch at the Olive Garden. Dammit I missed it by 1 hour or so as I ws there at 12 but went into walmart at 1:30PM. Sonofabitch!

i saw what was left of wave 9 and thought you'd already been by there. :( damn that endless salad & bread! did you check the superwalmart on peachtree industrial (other side of ashford dunwoody ITP)? i haven't checked there, surely some scalper's stopped by there by now.

also saw the rest of wave 9 minus bat at greatlands target tonight, looked like the refresher case with only one each of bat and snow serpent, left the serpent. i think i'll be good on those for now, considering the internet only packs coming up.

also that highway 92 superwalmart, must've been put out some time thursday or friday, had been bare wednesday.

Yesterday was a great day for me. I found a case of wave 9 Joe's at Wal-Mart in Hazlehurst and bought the B.A.T. and Snow Serpent. Then I went to the Wal-Mart here in Baxley and found Blitzwing and 4 more cases of wave 9 Joe's. I bought the 4 B.A.T.s they had to finish my B.A.T. army and left the Snow Serpents and the other wave 9 figures. If you are close to Baxley and needing any wave 9 Joe's it may be worth the trip since there aren't may collectors around here, I may be the only one. I think both stores had wave 3 Animated Deluxe figures and wave 1 Universe Deluxe and Voyagers. The Wal-Mart in Hazlehurst also had the G.I. Joe DVD packs.

There was one DVD pack but Lady Jaye and Destro had been replaced with older versions and some funny-looking Lego-like figure supplanted the MASS device. So I decided to stop at TRU since I hadn't been there in awhile--it usually has a very small section of Joes, but I got lucky once before when I found Wave 8 (except for Bludd & parka SE). And when I walked toward the aisle I saw the backs of several Joes hanging on the end cage--way more than I'd seen last time--and my pulse quickened as I turned the corner, half-expecting to see more Duke and Vipers but was pleastantly surprised to see 2 full cases of Wave 9 hanging on the pegs. I couldn't f***ing believe my luck! I grabbed one case, except for the Hawks, whom was the only one I've found until now, and grabbed the 2nd BAT because that's one treasure I've surely learned should not be discarded. Just for shits and grins I decided to stop at the Target nearby to see if maybe they had gotten anything and lo and behold they had the remnants of some Wave 9 (ninja ku, barbecue, hawk, nothing else), but they had gotten more vehicle packs in. I swear my area is the last place to see anything--it's always 1 or 2 months behind every other place in the country. Finally I can rest and not worry whether my pre-order from BBTS will ever ship. Phew.

i think he went to the one near gwinnett mall...i stopped by the alpharetta one this am and saw leftovers of wave 9, well bbq manly and some ninja ku. that figure is growing on me, may be tempted to pick one or two up.

i haven't seen any joe figure swappers lately, mostly just star wars and even then its usually at the walmart on ashford dunwoody and the walmart stores on cobb parkway. well, also some ass did it to the alpharetta walmart. but those are just star wars.

Took the kids over to the new TRU at MOG today. They had Wave 7 singles, Senior Ranking Officers, and pretty much all the vehicles. If your still looking for vehicles, this is where you need to go.

On the way home we stopped by our wal mart on Hamilton Mill Rd to get a few groceries. To my surprise, they had all the Wave 5 Comic Packs. I previously picked up Falcon/Nemesis in Gainesville last week so this time around I was wanting the Black Headed Destro. I couldnt find him. So I put the Gold Headed Destro pack in the cart and grabbed the Tripwire/Commander pack as well.

In the check out line, I talked myself out of the Gold Destro pack and decided to try and find the Black Varient later on so I put it down. When I got home, I was opening up the Tripwire pack (which is very good by the way) and kept thinking that I really wanted that Iron Greneider fig.

So about 4 hours later, i decided to just go back and get the Gold Destro 2 pack in fear that I wasnt going to be able to find the Varient anyways.

I get there and im looking thru them to find "the right one" and down on bottom, there is a mess of all different figs piled up like a hurricane went down. I look thru it and there on the very bottom of the pile is the black headed Destro. Damn. I couldnt believe it. So, I snatched him up and took it home.

So if your looking for the Wave 5 CP's, Hammilton Mill Wal-Mart is your hook up. No more Varient Destro's but they have a shit load of the series.

On a side note, can anyone tell me the signifigance of the Destro Black Mask ? Obviously he is wearing it on the cover of the comic that comes with the pack but I never remember him wearing a black mask in the toon.

I met up with madcrazyloco and got the wave 9 figures and the Ram and trouble bubble vehicles. Then went to the target at the MOG and picked me up the wave 2 12 inch. Then went to walmart and got more wave 9 but no BATS and Snow trooper. I got the flacon comic pack. Tripwire was there but no Destro. Went to Cumming Walmart and nothing there but the usual suspects. Now I struck gold on wave 9 including BATs and snow Serpents. Now I am looking for the black destro and army building IGs.

I agree, good answer. It does look cool and all but honestly, I think I like my single release Destro Grenadier just a little better.

I dont remember the vintage Grenadiers but this new one is very cool. Makes me wanna build an army of them to.

Some findings from this weekend.

Yesterday I went to the TRU at the Mall of GA in Buford. they had tons of the senior officers 3 packs, the usual wave seven pegwarmers, the usual CP pegwarmers, 3 Ram Cycle/Trouble bubbles, 2 Hiss Tanks, 2 Armadillo/Air Chariots and 1 Vamp.

Target (spout springs road):
2 serpentors, 2 buzzers, duke with jet pack, cobra commander, snake eyes (wave 7).

1 Hiss tank
1 Vamp (turned sideways in the package as the twisty ties werne't holding it in. kinda funny. looked like it had crashed, lol)

I don't know for sure what of those he picked up though I think it was a tripwire/cc pack and maybe the immortal pack.
my buddy also picked up a tripwire pack as well as the imortal pack so I don't knw if anything is really left tere or not. I may try to swing by this week and check it out.

Today I went to the WalMart in Commerce. Here' what I found there as of 5 PM:

I picked up a complete series of the DC universe series 3 figures for a friend. also picked up the Nemesis Immortal/Falcon two pack as well as Barbeque and Bazooka. all this after getting a BAT and Snow Serpent from aileyba on Saturday. I was almost tempted to pick up the Snow Serpent I found but didn't want to be greedy plus I'd spent enough as it was!!
It's been a good weekend for Joes!

The buford kmart has the best clearance for star wars lego. I got a 50 dollar starfighter for 10 bucks and the landing craft for 14 from 50! I also found a halo wireless xbox controller for 15 bucks there from 50. They suck for joes but are great for clearance lego. I do remember going there early in the anniversary releases and finding figures. When I travel I hit Kmarts and find all kinds of goodies hidden on the very top shelves and such. Less than a month ago I found a Flash and recently found some wave 8. So, any new cp wave 5 sightings? I don't really want to drive all over creation looking for these. I have to be in Chattanooga on Wednesday and may look around there after work.

Yes. I am trying to post more in the sightings section. I doubt my posts are as useful as most everyone else's here and on TFW2005 because the areas around me are small and there probably aren't that many collectors around here. I don't know that for sure though. At least I can try to help some collectors in the area even if they may not post here or on TFW.

Man, that is fantastic!! You should post that over in the custom Hisstank thread. That is exactly what I was imagining with a Hisstank.com logo (the 215 tank) in place of the 25th. And something similar on the filecard itself...maybe just the 215....I don't know yet but this looks perfect.

you read my mind about the hisstank logo being up where the 25th logo is now. There are a few other small details that I want to do and then I need to clean up the image a bit my scanner had a lot of dust on the surface and those have shown up on the card. Also I wanted to think of a few options for the yellow area, that is naturally where the cobra enemy logo is.

I do plan on posting it in the customs but not until its finished and I would like to repackage with the figure that you made up and then ultimately get the it with the custom HISSTANK.

Aileybay and I went searching for last night and didn't find B.A.Ts, but we did find Snow serpents we didn't pick them up. On top of not find B.A.Ts we got into a car wreck on the way home; we're ok and every involved is OK. :)


I think what is going on too is that each box has two time as many of the other characters in wave 9 than B.A.Ts and Snow Serpent per box maker then hard to find.

Ya know that is not the worst I've seen them on ebay in fact that kind a reasonable when you factor in gas and time.
Also as much as I hate to say we are dealing with a first come first server situation because each of us are going to pick up bat when we see them. i try my best when I have extra cash to help out others, but lately I've not had much in that way of extra cash to pick out an extra fig or two. Last few weeks I had to leave figs on the self that I wanted.

Aileybay and I went searching for last night and didn't find B.A.Ts, but we did find Snow serpents we didn't pick them up. On top of not find B.A.Ts we got in a car wreck on the way home; every involved is OK. :)


I think what is going on too is that each box has two time as many of the other characters in wave 9 than B.A.Ts and Snow Serpent per box maker then hard to find.

Unless Habro starts shipping whole cases or comes out with a troop builder set, I think these will continue to be a hard find. I imagine these will end up being the most popular troop builder yet.

I can swing that. I have heard that there is a way to remove the excess glue/paper on the bubble. Don't get in trouble with your boss. Check your PM.

No, it's not. Because that guy is buying them to resell at a markup. He's clearly gone to at least half a dozen stores, stocking up on the army builders and popular figures. If he was actually "doing a service to the fans," he'd buy enough to satisfy himself and *LEAVE THE REST THERE.*

"First come first served" only applies, in my book, when you're actually buying the toys for personal use. I'll make an allowance for picking some up for a friend, but buying ten BATs just to throw on eBay? That's scalping. You're not doing that as a service, you're doing that to make money. The sad part is, some people need their plastic crack fix badly enough that they're willing to accommodate these pieces of shit.

Days like these, I want to throw my entire 25th collection on ebay and be done with it.

I've seen go up for sell on ebay for 12.00 to 13.00 and folk buy them. I just don't buy from folk that scalp it send a better message that's there no market for that kind of practice. Be patient and you'll find them. The Oakwood Walmart is good place to get what your looking for. They are collector friendly. I've seen a least five B.A.Ts there at one point. Especially our with help ;)


BTW If anyone here is an army builder the Gainesville Walmart pegs are choking with Vipers all with 25th logos and they both DVD packs

So, I've been doing a lot of work travel and hitting wm's and targets as I go. I raided Knoxville, Cedar Rapids, Chattanooga and have a spare bat and snow serpent for anyone that's willing to come pick them up from lenox rd/85. Ten bucks a piece for all the hunting time I spent on them. I'm interested in a black head destro cp if you've got it. Did finally find the other two cp's in chattanooga yesterday. Tons of wave 9 minus bats in the chattanooga area, plenty of snow serpents but no bats but the one i found.

Glad to see there's interest in a Joe meeting (not that I doubted there would be). The tricky part is figuring out the best location and of course when. I live in northeast GA above Gainesville in a po-dunk town called Alto.
I know we have some gainesville tankers as well as Alpharetta, Dunwoody and Lawrenceville plus the ATL represented (among other places in GA). the question becomes: where IS the best place (city) to meet in that would be within reasonable driving distance for everyone?
I'd like to try to keep the drive for everyone within 45 minutes to an hour max if possible since I know gas prices are insane.

A possible suggestion (and again if this is not good for anyone, just let me know) that I have is maybe speaking with Kyle, the owner of the Galactic Quest comic book stores and seeing if we might could do the meeting there (since he has room upstairs in Buford and an open gaming area in Lawrenceville). I don't know what the schedule is for the games that are run on Saturdays (which is kinda the day of the week when I assumed we might meet), but I could contact him and ask. it would also be helpful to get a ballpark average of how many people we think might actually be able to come to better gauge what kind of meeting place we have (so everybody's not all crammed in wherever we go with no breathing room.).

again, if anyone has a suggestion feel free to make it. I figured we could meet to discuss our plastic crack addiction, maybe have a "swap shop" sort of element (for those of you looking to trade joes or who might have picked those hard to find ones up and want to meet in person to get the goods and save on shipping). make it sort of like a mini-con or something (plus we might want to figure out what to do for food in case anyone gets hungry).

I have been going to 5 walmarts and 4 Targets all week and found Jack and $#+ and Jack left town. So yes the Black headed Destro is hard to find.

I've found 3 black Destros at the Toys R Us in Warner Robins over the last two weeks. Like everything in this line, it depends on where you are and knowing the stock schedule. The TRU here stocks every Friday morning; I wander in at lunch at 1pm and have had lots of success the last couple weeks, to the point that I left both black Destros and 2 BATS hanging on the pegs today. :)

Out of curiosity how many people have seen a Major Bludd or Parka SE in stores around Atlanta and roughly how many did you see? These were the only two figures I had to order online because I never once saw one in any store. I've seen at least one of everything else. Hell, I even managed to find two BATs!

I've only seen them once and it was when I picked them up at the east cobb store about the time they surfaced. I'm sure they were around as I saw mass device cc's here and there following that but never saw any other figures from wave 8 in Atlanta. In hindsight, the were all pretty cool figs with the partial exception of roadblock. I'm not a big fan of him but he looked different enough to pick up. Some of wave 8 is going to show up in revision cases soon so it wasn't the only chance to get them. I'm patient, though I've had to wait I've been able to find every single figure in the wild including yellow stalker and black timber se in retail stores. I heard people were finding yellow stalker at kb toys long after wave 2 was released in most outlets.

picked up the greenshirts at the fayetville toysrus today. picked up both packs. i left the crimson packs dont need anymore of them. the fayetville wally had all wave 9 except bats and serpents. the target has to be one of the worse targets i have been to. for a second as i was walking down the action figure aisle i had flashbacks of kmart aisles. at least now i am caught up on joes. now if the transformers animated stuff would make it to georgia i could sleep better. and i saw major blood quite a few times along with parka snakeeyes when wave eight first came out. one time at the austell wally i say 3 bloods on the pegs.

Two Night Ravens but no parts. Suprisingly, the Whale and Terror Drome are in really good condition and still have a lot of the parts. I'm selling a lot of it so that I can replace the missing parts of the things I'm keeping.

Good to know they just moved, thanks for the correction. Man, I have yet to see a Rock N Roll or Armored CC. The sets I've seen lately are Duke, Torpedo, Hiss Driver, Wild Bill and Hawk. Hey, whats up? I am a collector from Middle Georgia. I just recently found this thread. I have found everything here except for the "Black Head" Destro. I usually drive close to 100 mile radius every week looking for Joes. I have had the most luck at the Wal-Marts in Warner Robins and Eatonton. Right now, probably the hardest figures to find are BH Destro, BATS, Snow Serpents, and Major Bludd. I have seen about 4 BATS and 4 or 5 Snow Serpents at the Wal-Marts in Eatonton and Milledgeville. I see the New Comic packs everywhere except for the BH Destro. I have seen 1 Major Bludd and he was at K-Mart in Warner Robins. So, if you are looking for him keep a look out at K-Marts. I was going up I 20 on Monday and I stopped at the TRU on the Stone Creek exit and they had the New Comic packs, Crimson Guard 5 pack, and Firefly/Greenshirt 5 pack. They also had a Sigma 6 Lt. Stone. If there is anyone who has any questions about any of the stores around the Middle GA area, please let me know. Also, if anyone has an extra Black head Destro, I will be glad to take it off your hands.

I am from Statesboro, about 50 mils from Savannah. The latest items to hit my area was Wave 9 figures at 4 cases worth on the shelves (I picked up one full set for myself), the first wave of DVD sets, and just this last Saturday, the Joe vehicles.

But from what I have been seeing on the board, I am confused to what should be out now in our state. Can someone do a run down of what should be out now and what should be coming soon?

Welcome to the Tank. I haven't been to Statesboro myself but I go to Savannah from time to time but since it is around 100 miles away from me I don't head there that often and I try to only go to get exclusives although sometimes I go just to head to a bigger city.

The first wave of Vehicles and DVD packs, up to wave 9 of the singles, wave 5 of the comic packs, all four of the TRU 5-packs, and the first three TRU 3-packs should be available. I don't know about the Target Rattler and Conquest.

Hey, whats up? I am a collector from Middle Georgia. I just recently found this thread. I have found everything here except for the "Black Head" Destro. I usually drive close to 100 mile radius every week looking for Joes. I have had the most luck at the Wal-Marts in Warner Robins and Eatonton. Right now, probably the hardest figures to find are BH Destro, BATS, Snow Serpents, and Major Bludd. I have seen about 4 BATS and 4 or 5 Snow Serpents at the Wal-Marts in Eatonton and Milledgeville. I see the New Comic packs everywhere except for the BH Destro. I have seen 1 Major Bludd and he was at K-Mart in Warner Robins. So, if you are looking for him keep a look out at K-Marts. I was going up I 20 on Monday and I stopped at the TRU on the Stone Creek exit and they had the New Comic packs, Crimson Guard 5 pack, and Firefly/Greenshirt 5 pack. They also had a Sigma 6 Lt. Stone. If there is anyone who has any questions about any of the stores around the Middle GA area, please let me know. Also, if anyone has an extra Black head Destro, I will be glad to take it off your hands.

Welcome to the Tank to you as well. I don't get up that way often since it is a little longer drive to Warner Robins and Macon than Savannah but I have had some good hauls up that way like the one and only time I saw, and bought, Valor vs. Venom wave 6 at a Wal-Mart in Warner Robins.

I saw it was mentioned at Botcon this year. No pictures were allowed during the presentation but the Lockdown with the chainsaw we saw a few weeks again was first shown there also. Sadly since I didn't go to Botcon I didn't see it.

BTW guys, haven't checked any WM threads, but the VAMP and Armadillo/Chariot are up at WM.com as well as Red Star/Duke and Firefly/Stormshadow Comic Packs. I have had a hard time finding these CP's and thought others may be in the same boat.

As of around 7:00 pm last night (27th) both Wal-Marts in Athens had a ton of figures. The pegs were packed. Snow Serpents, BAT (only saw 1), Torpedo, Barbecue, Hawk, Duke, Bazooka, Wild Bill, Ninja-Ku, HISS Driver (bought the only one I saw), Vipers, HISS tanks, Destro two-packs (no black heads).

Super Target in Roswell has 2 HISS drivers for $8!!! The case (revision?) they appear in has City Roadblock, Parka Snake Eyes, Python Patrol... etc. They were plentiful at both that Target as well as Super WM in Woodstock/92. No HISS Drivers left at WM :).

Super Target in Woodstock has the desert camo Abrahms Tank from Forces of Valor line for less than $35 if I recall. Looks good. They also had the green version.

At Walmart in Cornelia yesterday they had a slew of the DVD packs. There were 4 Weather Dominator packs and 3 of the other dvd pack. a bunch of wave 9, no bats, but still they have 2 Snow Serpents (don't know if anyone is having trouble finding them or not). they had several Wild Bills, Torpedos, Bazookas, Ninja Kus, Hawks, Spirit, Vipers, Snake Eyes (with knives on his chest).

What is really weird to me is that this Walmart only stocked the vehicles on the shelves ONCE and that was about a month ago and they haven't had anymore since then. That's just strange considering how much of the wave 9 they got, all the dvd packs they've had and they even had the wave 5 CPs for a few days (which they also haven't gotten any more of).

You could try calling a few places in Warner Robins. I was up there on the 27th of July and TRU had a Wave 9 Wild Bill. Sounds like your Wal-Mart is worse than mine which has all but the B.A.T. (I bought what they had). I'm sure you will find them soon. As far as I know Wave 9 Revision 1 isn't out yet.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. I appriciate run down what has hit GA so far, and I am glad to see that I did not miss much. However, I did notice that we got skipped over on wave 7 and only one case of wave 8 (which I was lucky to be there when it was put out). I was able to get the WB and SE from Wave 7, from a trip to Augusta and my buddy from Tri-gate Creations hooked me up with a Spirit and a Flint.

I am an opener when it comes to the figures (except for my star wars collection). I am really enjoying these new sculpts and articulation designs. I am really looking forward to the next wave of figures, mainly Mutt & Junkyard and Crock Master. The rest of the wave is also killer as well, but those two were some of my favorites while growing up. Any idea on when we should see this wave here in GA?

Thanks for the welcome. I just recently moved to Marietta, but I live on the Cobb/Cherokee line and Woodstock stores are more accessible. I open everything and so far have picked up 2 each of most army builders. At best I find 2 of what I'm looking for and I'm done. The HISS drivers are a good example, and back in FL, I never saw a single one upon first release.

As far as "intel" goes, I see posts for surrounding areas, but rarely for the stores I visit. I hit the Super Targets and Super Wal-Marts in Woodstock and Roswell, sometimes the Target in Marrietta. What I do tend to find at the time of day I tend to shop, is little to nothing new. The revision case is just hitting, and the new pegwarmers are beginning to emerge. Duke and Viper have some company. I don't commute so my route is small and I take my chances with what the 3-4 stores nearby have at the moment.

I'd have to take a look, but since I moved in, I have posted most of my finds, whether or not they were entirely helpful, is unclear. I'll keep making my rounds, at my plodding frequency, and provide more intel for those who can use it.

Hi all sorry it took so long to post my internet has been wonky since the tornado hint near where I lived way too close for comfort. I've spent most of the week at Aileybay place because roads where blocked and I couldn't get home . It skimmed my trailer park. No one was hurt but the darn thing made a mess and lucky It didn't damage any trailers inside the park ,but it got a trailer out side the park. The person living there is ok except for a broken ankle. There are some houses damaged but not too bad. We here on our way to the Flowery Branch Target on our Joe hunt when it stuck. We past the School just a minuet before it damaging the roof. The school was next door to my trailer park. As Aileybay mentioned we cut our Joe hunt short after that. These past couple of weeks it's getting where Joe hunting is become a dangerous sport for us.

Anyway Aileybay reports that the Gainesville Walmart has restock some wave 1 - 3 and some more wave 7 & 8 he seen a W1 cobra officer (which he picked up), a hood Cobra Commander, Cobra Officer (Python Patrol repaint) and a bunch more W7 Snake Eyes (v3) :/

I went to the Walmart on L'ville-Suwanee this morning to get BBQ supplies for the cookout I am having in my backyard this weekend. I went to the toy section and I wasn't looking for anything in particular. I saw a bunch of single carded wave 9 figures including 1 Snow Serpy and 1 BAT hanging on the pegs. Apparently someone bent the left corner of both Snow Serpy and BAT intentionally because the cards of the rest of the figures are fine (Please see the attached photo). I have enough BATs and Snow Serpies so I wasn't gonna get them anyway, but I just want to say that I am deeply disappointed to whoever bent the cards of both BAT and Snow Serpy. If you are reading this thread, I want you to know that whoever you are, you are the saddest. You probably didn't have enought money to buy them on the spot so you bent the cards so you can go back later and get them, but you have denied the opportunities for other people to get them. You are pathetic, you don't deserve to collect or own Joes. I really feel sorry for your twisted soul. What goes around, comes around. That's all I have to say to you. Have a nice day.

Target in Buford had 1 Tiger Force Flint, blue Barroness and the usual Wild Bill, Duke with jetpack, snake eyes, Viper pegwarmers, some dvd packs and some vehicles.

Target on Spout Springs road had all vehicles except Ram/Flight Pod, 2 of the scuba Baroness DVD packs, and had some of the DCU series 3 figures (deathstroke, nightwing, robin, 2 GL's). I picked up Deathstroke and Nightwing and left everything else.

TRU in Buford had the officer 3 packs and the same usual stuff.
Also, Dragoncon is not looking likely for me at this point so if someone else goes you'll have to post anything you found of interest for the rest of us.

East Savannah Target will not be carrying the Rattler and Conquest. I called to check and was told they are the only Target in the area, which also includes Brunswick and Hiltonhead, that will not carry them. So if you are in the area there doesn't seem to be a need to waste your time checking there.

I know people are doing this already to an extent, but sometimes it's not clear who needs what and how far he's willing to drive.

For instance, those of us in my neck of the woods around Chamblee-Tucker could agree to pick up items specifically for collectors in this area or anyone willing to drive here. So someone from Gainsville, say, might drive down here to pick up a Rattler, etc. This could be a more organized collective effort to ensure that everyone finds what he's looking for. So if I happen to stop in Target and see 2 extra Rattlers on the shelf and I know that madcrazyloco and say Tracker want one, I could hold them for those collectors.

But there would be some problems; for example, if five people want an Eel and I find only three, who gets dibbs, that sort of thing. Or maybe a buddy system: if a person finds an item, he agrees to hold it for a particular person... I don't know, just food for thought. Perhaps everyone's already doing this, but it would seem more helpful than just posting a find and hoping that people who are interested see the post and get there in time to buy it.

Yea it seem Big Lot is a little spotty of there stock. Some have them while others don't.

Honestly I have no idea how much it was. It's on the top shelf on the left in the aisle with the fake transformers. Probably 12-16.

I was looking at the 3 figure battle packs which appear to be sporting Marauder Inc parts like sand bags, boxes, and barbed wire. These on are on the back wall behind the toy aisles.

On the first toy aisle ( left to right) they have the howitzer. Aswell as the single packs adventure packs. Those single packs had things like a tent, a canoe, a horse, an atv, etc.

Stopped by the Hiram Walmart and found a pretty nice assortment of Joes (for once)! Aside from 1 Viper, 3 Scarlets, and one or two Wild Bills, I saw:

1 Major Bludd
2 Bazookas
2 Ninja Kus
1 HISS driver

I also met fellow tanker knifewerk while I was there! I was walking away from the Joes and heading around the corner when he walked past me (at break-neck speed, he was on his lunch break) and made a b-line for the action figures. Something told me he was a fellow Joe collector (must be that damned Force again! :D) so I followed him and saw him thumbing through the Joes. I introduced myself and asked if he collected and visited any online forums. First one he said was Hisstank. Meeting a fellow tanker was actually the highlight of my day.

So here's to you David (knifewerk). The Force told me to leave that Flash behind for another soul... looks like it was you! :D Great to meet you!

I saw BATS from wave 9 case at Woodstock Super Wal-mart today. Major Bludd was there as well as a Snow Serpent and some Ninja Kus. Nice to see a good mix of characters. I'm sure it'll filter down to just that many more Dukes and Wild Bills hanging fron the pegs, but at least they're presence can't stop the impending arrival of waves 10 and 11. WM also had lots of Comic Packs including Nemesis/Falcon CP and Tripwire/CC CP. Also, I picked up the only HISS with Commander. First time sighting of that one.

Super Target in Woodstock had Gold head Destro CP, Firefly/Stormshadow CP, and figures like Torpedo and Barbecue. No Rattlers.

Hey, the other day at Tucker Walmart I saw some wave 8 figures and decided to get the urban Roadblock afterall since I had passed on him before, and at the checkout he rang up for $5. He wasn't on clearance and was hanging on the regular pegs marked $6.97. That was an odd treat. I haven't seen any rattlers yet, and I hope they don't all get scalped. But if anyone wants to make arrangements for me to hold one if I see them, I'm more than willing. I tend to get very lucky with the Target exclusive vehicles, and if they show up Sunday I'd rather buy extra ones for tankers than simply leave them on the shelf and hope that you get my post in time.

Also, I'd appreciate it if anyone encounters a Major Bludd or Flash in the perimeter area.

On a side note, does anyone know where you can get repro stickers for vintage Joe vehicles? I thought I'd heard somewhere that these were available.

Target in cumming had a fresh restock as well. I got me a Major blood (for my friend), Flash without the 25th logo, BAT (only 1 was left) and Snow serpent. Need one more Major Blood for another friend. But no Rattler and Conquest.

Went to MOG Target this morning and sanged the same set of figures Godzilla got. Bludd, Flash and BAT and Snow Serpent.
No Rattler or Conquest. After all my hunting this is the first Flash I have seen on a peg ever.

All that is in actual Habersham County (in Cornelia at least) is Walmart and Kmart. Kmart doesn't have anything (never does). Walmart doesn't have any BATS that I know of though they have gotten in some cases of wave 9 a few weeks ago.
You might could check in Gainesville at Target or Walmart and they might have some wave 9, although Tracker and aileyba are the two best people to talk to about the Gainesville and Oakwood stores.

I went to this Wal-Mart after calling around and they were the only one to have them. A fellow Transformer fan told me they had them (he knew who the original molds were and that Fracture was a female and that is now I knew he was a fan). I didn't talk long since it was late (after 11:00 P.M.), I was sick (still am), and I didn't want to take the risk of having a manager or someone come by and here us talking about Transformers possibly getting him in trouble. If you are reading this thank you for your help, I had a great haul today because of you.

I just got back from errands, and in my neck of the woods (Acworth/Kennesaw) the Target in between the 2 WalMarts on 41 had a bunch of restock series 8 and 9 (Bludd/Flash?BBQ/Bazooka/1 BAT/Pythin Soldier, etc). They also had the dvd packs and one Armadillo/Serpentor vehicle pack. And there was 1 Destro/Grenadier (gold head). I passed on this, even though I want it, since there will be another one (with an extra Grenadier) coming out soon. And I am just getting sick of Destro, Cobra Commander and Duke repaints. I mean really, how many more of them do we need?

Believe me if this area is getting them, they should really start cropping up everywhere. This area is a veritable wasteland for new toys. One of the 2 Wal-marts still has the same (GI Joe)figures from Xmas, and never even got anything Marvel Legends past the first wave.

Walmart in Gainesville today had a BAT with a messed up and bent card, a snow serpent and some other remnants from wave 9 plus a Stalker and hooded Cobra Commander . They had tons of CPs but no wave 5 ones.
Target in Gainesville had Snow Serpents, some other wave 9 (no bats), both dvd packs and wave 5 CPs (one Falcon/Nemesis, one or two of the Cobra Commander/Tripwire and one Iron Grenadier and gold headed Destro).

I was actually hoping to find the Target exclusive Red Hulk marvel legends line or a Rattler but no luck.

The Cumming Target has tagged shelf space ready to go. He said if there is no shelf space at a Target or no tag, they might not get them or they might show up later and sit in store warehouse. I guess it depends on the store...

something that is impossible to get unless you were lucky enough to order it online or happen to luck up and go to Target the day they put them out.

It's not like with the figures where there is a much better chance
you will eventually find the figure you want with a little time. It may take a few weeks, but eventually you'll find it. With
the exclusives you're screwed depending on how many they release to each store.

Point being.....why not mass release them. They are going to sell anyways. I really doubt they would sit on the shelves collecting dust for months. Anyways, rant over

On vaca from Cali... was at Target off Moreland in ATL. They showed one 087-06-2047 in stock on the floor, but I couldn't find it anywhere... I checked likely hiding spots too. Then they told me there was 1 in stock at Buckhead. No dice they said they got some in two days ago, but sold to a guy who said he wanted "all of them" still no shelfspace there though... anyways, a heads up that at least one store shows something in stock... whether or not it's there hiding somewhere, who knows.

So what's the deal in our area. Has anyone reported finding the exclusives? Stores say they have them in stock, mine don't, I would think a bunch of us looking every single day would have found something. I know it just takes one guy to wipe out a whole store, but the whole state seems dry. I hope this is happening at a national level as well.

I'm also feeling they would have fared well with a mass release. The mass release vehicles that are out right now disappear almost overnight. Granted the lower price point helps. I really don't think these exclusives have seen full distribution yet (I hope).

I haven't seen anything went to the Super Target off of Steve Reynolds this evening nothing and no stickers saying that they are getting the planes. Went to MOG Target this morning and nothing there and no stickers indicating they are getting the planes either. Also check that find it at a target store and every time I check it says out of stock everywhere in the area.

Super WM in Woodstock had one B.A.T., but he came home with me, along with the only other Major Bluud, a Viper and a Snow Serpent. Apparently they restocked a single case so the Dukes wouldn't get lonely. I broke down upon reading the recent review and bought another Viper. I am going to buy the last one on the peg if I see another fig I need. Will not buy it just by itself, it must accompany something I want. I can't help out on the Dukes however. At least cases keep trickling in, just not the ones we want. I was going to wait on the Bludd as well, but again, the recent review of him leaves me wanting the accessories if nothing else. I prefer the deco of the one coming in the DVD pack.

You should call Buckhead and see if they have them, reports around my area state if you see anything other than "out of stock" you have a good chance. They probabley have either an x-30 or a rattler, GOGOGOGOGO!

Already did, still nothing. Not sure why the status hasn't changed on the schuman site. Another person reported going there the same day as me, and was told that someone got to them first, said "I want them all", but there was probably only one case. And when I do call, it takes forever to speak with the toy department.

It isn't bad. I like the carded figure better. The blue on light blue is cool. The green shirts would be great for customs. I think the carded figure is the best one. Followed by the 5 pack and then the comic pack. If you are undecided, I wouldn't waste the $25 for just the Firefly.
