Forgot to say that the Oakwood Walmart has it reset sheet up and there are no place marked for Gi joe. So it looks like they will not be carrying Gi Joe any more.

I haven't been to the Dawsonville store or the Buford store in a while, but i hope they still will carry Gi joes. Thank goodness for Target.

I picked up two Shock Troopers from TRU in Alpharetta (Northpoint) yesterday, and a Steel Crusher (on clearance for $13) at the Perimeter Walmart today. The perimeter Walmart also got wave 4 in. Skydive and Destro were still on the pegs as of 20 minutes ago.

Went to oakwood wal-mart and got the new Ahsoka, el les, and aotc obi wan. At the walmart in gainesville they had the new cad bane with todo, obi wan and hevy. The card backs were crushed to pieces on a lot of the vintage collection figures (kit fisto, senate guard) but they had a gree and zam wesell that had good cards. They had everyone from that wave except for mace and jango.

Still no at at.

Ross in Morrow has a ton of black hiss tanks and rages. They also had walmart 2 packs and cancelled target sets. I passed on all as I've had my fill. TRU there has blur, kup and scourge. Target has nothing.

With Joelanta coming next weekend, it might be a good idea for everyone to post some of their wants since a bunch of tankers will be going. I'm going to start preparing an inventory for the show this weekend.

Avondale Estates Walmart (east of Decatur) = Zero Joes (2 firefly spaceships on clearance table outside of toy section. No longer a place for them on shelves/racks.

North Dekalb Ross has a couple of hiss tanks.

N.Druid Hills Target has the same crappy 18 figures they've had since Jan.

the Walgreens at Dekalb Ind. blvd and N. Decatur rd. has a $10 alley viper.

well at least we're getting a 2nd shot at them. They are re-issuing the Vamp and Hiss with new drivers and such. If I see one I'll be sure to stash it and tell you first. Couple of the Walmarts around here have stopped clearancing their Bravos out and are slowly restocking them

I can't remember where I saw the ghost hawk for $8 bucks but now I want one! So far it looks like half the walmarts near me have dropped the line completely. Target and TRU are the only brick and mortar retailers left. Target is sitting with a lot of peg warmers while TRU has a few figures up after their last sale but nothing new coming in to replace them! Very annoying as I usually have good luck finding new figures when they hit. I got lucky with wave 3 since HTS had free shipping when they first posted them.

Looks like Ross is going to be the new retailer for hasbro. I'm patiently waiting for the resolute sets to appear there. It's only a matter of time.

Its a combination of people being scumbags and store employees being lazy/apathetic. Which firther compounds the problem of finding the figures we are looking for.

Now that's on the returns clerk for being such a moron for accepting those. It's so obvious that things are missing and the packages have been tampered with even if you have no clue as to what the figure is supposed to look like.

I'd be willing to live with a no returns policy on action figures just to keep this crap from happening.

same here, its really random but thats also due to how Ross ships from the wharehouse they have boxes of stuff there and the workers randomize everything. thats why we dont always see complete waves of the Target stuff.

I had the same idea about the way they were distributing as well. I keep a mental note of which stores typically get full cases. Of course that's what the sightings thread is for. Post a list of specific elite force figures and pictures (if you can get them elsewhere) so we know what to look for.

I'm not a Marvel Universe fan but they have a multiple man, moon knight, iron patriot, union jack, bucky,red hulk, and skrull soldier here @ the hiram walmart. They had fury's, hiss tanks (including a repacked hiss II) there for 17 bucks which seemed good at the time till they landed at ROSS. I can't remember where I saw them but I'm looking for a ghost hawk for $8 or less. One of the WM's was clearing them out. I wouldn't mind picking up the cobra arctic thingy and the trike if I can get them on the cheap. Heck, I'd even get the desert AWE too.

yeah I almost grabbed that one on clearance too but didnt want it bad enough, Noks arent in my verse so there's no need for it. I'll definitely be grabbing as many Vamps as I can this time around and reselling the vehicle I just want the drivers. The Skystriker I am looking forward to the most I cant wait to relive the moment of seeing it in TRU as a kid and not being able to get it, as opposed to this time im going to go get it! and hopefully a couple extras too.

The problem is that none of those vehicles are fantastic. I buy things I think are good like figures, the Vamp II and Hiss v5 for retail. The alphas are just rereleases (ghost hawk and awe) and goofy (cobra ice thingy and trike). It's just the completest in me that wants them.

Exactly. I was driven to distraction trying to find a VAMP (only just found one yesterday, finally!) and the cancelled Alpha vehicles. I'd gladly pay full-price for them IF somewhere would stock them. I don't buy them from Ross/TJ Maxx/Marshall's because they're cheap. Well when the retailers orders too much of a product, and folks get what they want a full price, well you to many items just sitting there not being bought.

Retailers don't do a good job of product management and that why we don't see new items coming to the selves.

how do you figure? every target around the metro area has pegs completely clogged with wv 1-2 figures and WM has been getting the new stuff and revision cases? I found both my Vamps at WM as well and paid retail for them the black hisstanks were also at WM just before they went to Ross which was Targets stock not wallys.

I'll buy stuff at retail because thats usually what I want, if its not good enough ( like the ice cutter) for me to buy then im definitely not going to grab it at clearance because its not worth it for me and im not a completist. If stuff is going into bins and I cant display it im not buying it. The exception is custom fodder. if its useable and cheap and I get a light bulb when I see it then I'll buy it at retail or at clearance, depends on when that light bulb goes off.

Go back and reread what Tracker said. In his area target is doing a better job of stocking Joes. I hunt in the same area too and i can tell you that the walmarts have completely dropped Joes. He doesn't live/hunt in the metro area like a lot of you guys.

Target does a good job of stocking everything. They actually have employees that scan empty pegs and move stock to the front IF they have it. Target ordered a ton of joes and stocked it at EVERY store. Unfortunately the line isn't that popular and that's why you get shitty peg warmers hanging around. I'm just now seeing wave 4 revision 4 cases hit targets in the metro. Seems that Target nationwide sold through enough of their initial shipments and ordered a new shipment. It's unfortunate that low light is not included in that revision.

As far as buying items on clearance and hurting the brand, that's just crazy talk. If I think an item is over priced or not terribly desirable, I'm simply voting with my dollars. I'm not hurting the brand, just sending a message that I won't just throw money at rehashes and goofy vehicles. Buying clearance items for customs fodder hurts the brand just as much since you could have paid full retail.

The way things are going, without a good movie or cartoon on cartoon network, nickelodeon or WB (the channels kids actually watch cartoons on), this line will never do well in retail. It just doesn't have the appeal that star wars and transformers does. I'm happy that the figures get four pegs in a target and are stocked nationwide. Wal Mart is making a simple and smart decision not to dedicate space to something that's not selling the volume other lines are. Look at how much space is dedicated to joes at TRU and you know that they're not doing well.

well what i see happen here when WM had joes and target was clog on figures. Walmart would order tons of new figs, target then would do a temporary price cut clearing there stock while at the same time stock up on the new waves. Walmart while having the new figures order way too many of a certain wave and cloged there selves, leaving walmart stuck with that current wave, while target was able sell that wave and move on to the next newest stuff.

I can't remember exactly, but I left a Matt Trakker at either the Buckhead Marshalls on P-tree, or the Sandy Springs Marshalls on Roswell. Never saw the need for this figure. I remember MASK, but I was too Joe Crazy to ever get into it.

Also finally picked up Dusty at L'ville Target, and checked out Collins Hill WM, which happened to have just restocked. Picked up two more Shock Troopers, so I'm up to three, halfway towards my goal of six. If anyone's looking, there's still three over there...

And the red suspension, that was... an odd color choice, to say the least. But all that aside, awesome vehicle. Plus, Clutch is one of my favorite Joes anyway, and I dig the updated figure, although I did swap out the Beach Head Vest for the vest from the Black TRU Wild Bill figure. (I missed Clutch's signature shoulder holster)

I like the new HISS a bit more than I expected too. Haven't done those stickers yet, though.
