Got w13 Resolute Duke and trooper, and Firefly today at Roebuck WM. No BT or CC, and TOrch had been ripped from the card and the card was left hanging there. Classy!

I guess that guy has expanded to Birmingham. There's a Joe thief in the Gump, too. Rips the bubbles with the figures inside them off the card and leaves the card on the pegs. It's like it's 1985 again...

I think all the ARA DVD sets they sent to Bama were the factory errors. I've never seen a corrected one in the wild. I was fortunate enough to order these back in the day from HTS and actually get them, and actually get Dusty with his harness.

I didn't find shit today. Prattville Target had more Rattlers and Conquests on an endcap. I've a feeling those UBP's will be on clearance after Christmas for anyone who didn't get it/wants another. They also had the Wave 6 comic sets, all of them.

Gump TRU did not have a sign out that the Senior Officers 3-packs were $8.99 again but I didn't scan them either. Plenty of all three Wave 2's.

Wave 11 really came and went quickly down here. I've seen it a grand total of twice: Once in Tuscaloosa back in November and I was fortunate enough to get all the ones I wanted MOMC, and then remnants here, both at Target, never at Wal-Mart. I'm not counting the COBRA Flint that's in the Wave 13 case that I've seen a number of times.

Our TRU has never had anything past Wave 9 and the recard cases.

Never seen a chase Wraith. Haven't seen the regular one that many times, either. Ironic, 'cause I saw Blackhead Destro at least five or six times.

I wonder if the Ann St. Wal-Mart had a case of the Sting Raider wave vehicles...there was a lone Firebat there today that hadn't been there that I'd seen (that case has a Firebat, SHARC, Sting Raider and Ghost Hawk).

Christmas is taking care of (some) of the pegwarmers, I've noticed. Even the glutted Eastern BLVD Wal-Mart's pegs have thinned a little. Target was cleaned out of pretty much everything but a couple of recard IG Destros. Still had some UBP's.

Made rounds in the Gump today. This is what I saw:

TRU had remnants of Wave 10 and a SHARC in a crushed box.

Chantilly Wal-Mart had MASS/Revenge DVD sets for $15 in clearance aisle. No vehicles that I saw. All single cards at Chantilly were gone.

Ann St. and Boulevard Wal-Marts Indiana Jones stuff is all on clearance, singles $3, deluxe $7, vehicles $13. I got some more Cairo Thugs and a Mutt with snake to use as Billy.

Best find for me was a lone AT-TE at Ann St. for $64.

Target still had four UBP's, same price. Only two single Joes, Arctic and Commando Snake-Eyes, that I saw.

Transformers were eaten up even more than Bakugan. Whoah.

I have been very PO'ed at the Decatur Target.They haven't had any figures during the holidays.There are only 2 pegs for the figures.I went there one Saturday and asked if they could scan the shelf tag and see if they had any in the back.They didn't have any.I asked if they would get anymore in.The guy told me we probably won't order anymore and they none on the pegs.The Huntsville Target at least will get more in.The Decatur Target looks like they are getting out of the GI Joe stuff.

The Montgomery Target is the only place here I've been able to check in a while. Tonight they had one single carded Mutt and Junkyard, a Sharc, and the Trouble Bubble/Ram Cycle set. Still have some Ultimate Battle packs but did not see a price on them. Also have some of the WB/SI comic packs and a bunch of Mighty Muggs but I just can't seem to get into them. They also had one of the Star Wars comic packs with the white Darth Vader.

Gump Target had Airborne and Wave 12 this afternoon. I'd have posted sooner but work does not allow HissTank for some reason-the web blocker stops it.

I got the Divers and left the rest. They had 2 Rippers, 2 Ninja Vipers, a Tripwire, a Trooper, an Airborne, and a Wave 13 Firefly. They weren't in the Joe aisle, either, they were with the Bakugan stuff one aisle over. They also got more Rattlers and Conquests and the Mighty Muggs.

Saw the Best of The 80's at 3 differet walmarts this morning in Huntsville and both Targets had wave 12 and one had some of wave 11.

Good. Maybe they'll trickle down here. I was very lucky to find a Best Of set in Prattville before Christmas but that's the one and only time I've ever seen it, and I have two displays with MASS Devices.

Prattville Target seems to have got and then sold out of Wave 12. They had a Tripwire they didn't have before. UBP's regular price on an endcap. They did have TF Universe Dinobot and Smokescreen, and Prattville Wal-Mart had TF Animated Shadow Blade Megatron that I'd never seen before. Nothing new at K-Mart of course.

I recently have seen a comic 2 pack with Cobra Commander and a crimson Guardsman packaged on the Iron grenadier\Cobra Viper 2 pack.I found it to be odd because the accessories for Cobra commander included the Cobra viper's rifle.The Crimson Guardsman included a gold cross for and accessory,much like the one you see with the new Indiana Jones figures.Another weird thing about it is the Crimson guard isn't molded in his traditional uniform.It is actually Cobra Commanders uniform in red.He even has the gloved hands,one which is making a fist.I have looked at the comic 2 packs online and can't find it.Anyone seen anything like this?

That's a repack, the red cc body is probably from the toys r us 3 pack from a while back.

You ought to check your Wal-Marts this weekend if you haven't found these already...I saw what I think was a full set at the Boulevard Wal-Mart here in the Gump this afternoon, including the repulsively hideous Killer Moth. Maybe they're filtering down to Bama Country. Oh, and I realized that character wasn't Red Tornado, it was Mr. Miracle or something like that. At a glance I thought it was Red Tornado. I was always Marvel rather than DC.

Visited the fam out of state this weekend. Watched the Daytona 500 and Dale Jr. start the season very badly. Rain is a lame way to end a race. Found a PP Conquest at Tuscaloosa Target on Saturday on my trip up. Also got a friend all of the Ares wave of Marvel Legends sans Crossbones (at Wal-Mart in Columbus, MS) that never made it down to the Gump that I'm aware. You know the distribution of Wal-Mart exclusives. Sigh...

Northport Wal-Mart had a couple of IG/Viper comic sets. They also have (now) one Big Millennium Falcon on clearance for $64 as of 1AM today. It is on the back wall, not with the SW stuff.

Saw the Destro/Shockwave and Tunnel Rat/Storm Shadow sets in Tennessee. Passed.

Chucktoys works there sometimes, I think. I know he frequents there. Bob is great, used to go there weekly when I was younger. He does not put out the selection he used to, but if there are titles you frequent or request, he will order and hold them for you. Bob's is great for back issues and collected editions, and has some vintage Joes there too.

Walgreen's on Atlanta Highway had a Wolverine Origins Maverick. Didn't price it, but I guess Walgreen's is getting the Wolverine action figures. Never seen those out anywhere before.

The Marvel I have seen at KM were $8.99 and the WM were $8.84. TrU had them for $7.99.

FOund two EELs today and nabbed them. Target seems to be getting in a lot of the revision cases with w1 Flint and SE w/Timber, Firefly, Beachhead, Stalker. And I found that case with Trakker and Little Tykes Zartan on 280.

Btw, TrU also had the Greatest Battles DVD pack and a few Cobra and Joe sets, though they are $5 higher than WM.

I found a set of the new Joe and COBRA 5-packs at the ATL Highway Wal-Mart this evening. Someone had switched out the Baroness for the old single card black VvV one, and on the Joe set, Lady J had been swapped for this tan, brown-headed Bombstrike thing I didn't recognize, Flint for Tiger Force Flint, and comic Shipwreck for Shipwreck. They left Snake-Eyes, Polly and the Viper, interestingly enough.

I took the sets to the customer service desk and explained what happened to them and how it's a growing problem. She didn't seem very enthused or impressed (imagine that). Just said she'd relate the information to the next level.

So...they'll probably be back on the shelves again tomorrow or the next day. Sigh.

There's been a Joe thief here for a while. I wonder if it's the same person. I'm hoping it's just someone passing through and not someone who lives here.

On a more positive note, Big Lots had some IJ stuff including the cargo truck with cloth canopy for $10. Didn't get it.

Have yet to buy a Marvel or Wolverine:Origins or Wolves and the X-Men figure. Want a Deadpool, though, Wanted Gambit, but without the ankle articulation I couldn't pull the trigger. Still may get a brown and and a blue/yellow Wolverine, maybe a silver.
I like the Resolute set. The BAT and the Duke are cool. others are fine.

The black/maroon Resolute COBRA Commander looks good with the 25th Python Patrol characters. That maroon is the same paint they used with them.

Deadpool looks awesome with the Iron Grenadiers. Now Destro has his own ninja commando. Mine's legs are VERY loose, though. Pegholes are the same size, fortunately, so a stand for 25th Joes apparently will work with the Marvel stuff.

Gump Target has Resolute 5 pack, Joe and Cobra 5 packs, Revenge of Cobra DVD pack, and one aisle over they finally got in the new Marvel figures had all of the human torches as well as most of the others I can't remember. They also have the Wolverine figures now including several Deadpools. I got the Black Panther and Stealth Iron Man at TRU over the weekend and they both suck. I hate the ball joint knees on BP they are loose and keep spinning around at odd angles like he got hit by a truck or something. IM's hip joints don't want to move right and he stays bent over like he has a bad back also his hand keeps wanting to come off. It doesn't look like all of them are going to have the ball joint knees so I may take a gamble on some of the other ones coming out.

My prediction came true, though later than I thought.

Yes, those same repacks of the Joe and COBRA 5-packs found their way back to the shelf at the Atlanta Highway Wal-Mart. They are presently there for anyone to see. They didn't even get rid of them. Just processed them back onto the sales floor even after I told the customer service desk they were ransacked and explained what happened.

I found one of those at the Prattville Wal-Mart before Christmas. It's the only one I've ever seen anywhere, in Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas...

I have two scenes with MASS Devices and ended up buying a second beam emitter from someone here. I feel rather sure they'll re-issue Alpine sooner or later because he is pretty much a unique mold and they'll want to get the most out of it.

They should have packed that set in with the Greatest Battles set. I don't think any of those have sold anywhere I've seen them.

Moulton Wal-Mart used to be peerless in finding uncommon stuff, before it became the Super Wal-Mart. I used to go that way going up to Missouri to visit my parents. This was back in the late 1990's/early 2000's. Found all sorts of rare Star Wars stuff there.

Our Target got one case of the MU stuff with Iron Fist. Saw that and a Hulk. This was 2-3 weeks ago. Don't really follow those much so don't know what else was in the wave.

Clearly I want it for the Arena of Sport. It's not 1/18 scale but c is for cookie and that's good enough for me.

Just got back from GUMP Target. Still the same stuff they have had to the best of my knowledge. They do have the Wolverine figures on sale for $5.99 though. I got the weapon x one for whenever i finally get a Dr. Mindbender I can set up a lab.

Not the full circle, no, but they had Roman set that looked like the front of that. May have been it, just did not see the rest of the ring. Big box. On sale (or clearance) for $29. Had 2.

The Sarge has found his way to Bama. Found my two at TRU today. They also had put out the Star Trek (nice but not my thing) and Terminator (fair, and not my thing) stuff. They also had remnants of some Battlestar Galactica action figures I didn't know about, classic silver and gold Cylons, battle-damaged pilot, and William "Husker" Adama from Razor.

They had another case of the Duke/Scarlett/Destro recards. Would have got the Destro for another display but the paint on his gloves was awful. Too much dirty wash and they looked brown. Hasbro quality control...

Also had the Marvel Legends Icons Dark Phoenix, Nightcrawler and Colossus.

I stopped by Target today and they had 4 Tiger Rats, 1 Conquest, 2 Sharks, 1 Awe Striker, 6 of the (New Snake Eyes, Flint, Lady Jaye, Hawk, and Shipwreck) five packs, 7 Best of DVD Battles, and tons of vipers. Just wanted to let everyone know in case they want some.

I went to Greenville and Auburn today. It's always interesting to me to see what pegwarms in different areas. The Greenville Wal-Mart had several TF Animated Skywarps which are not to be found anywhere in the Gump.

It seems the case assortment with the IG/Viper 2-pack has made the rounds again. I've picked up four in the last two days and that's only a fraction of how many I've seen.

Still no Star Wars Wal-Mart exclusive comic sets near me. Grrr...

I did find the Wal-Mart exclusive 3.75" Logan and Victor Creed at the Opelika Wal-Mart, as well as the the Marvel Legends-sized Wolverine/Beast and Cyclops/Colossus 2-packs. They had a 25th COBRA Legions set for $12.44 as well but I didn't get it.

Hastings in Auburn had some remnants of HOH: Zartan, Fred, Viper, Snake-Eyes V1 and Beachhead as I recall. I only wanted the Firefly which of course they didn't have. No HOH at the FYE in the Auburn mall, either. I did get a Destro/IG 2-pack at K-Mart in Auburn for $8 on clearance.

I miss having a store in the Gump like Hasting's that sells movie-oriented action figures like Suncoast used to. It was cool to see some of the Sideshow Star Wars action figures, including that Palpatine/Darth Sidious set I'd ogled, in person. I wasn't gonna spend $119 though. Uh...no. Hasting's had the Desert COBRA set for sale...for fifty bucks!

You are correct. I have not seen a restock at WM since Feb, and Target has not stocked in weeks.

Only one area Target ever has any new Marvel U figures. TFA are dwindling.

Online only. Some chains like FYE and Suncoast have them for $14-1-ish. You can order them from TrU for $9.99/ea. I bought a set from BBTS -- recommend only the SE Timber, SS, Flint, and Firefly. I will buy another of those four to open. Love that Firefly's gun (and phone) is green like the og. Best Flint they have produced. SS with no sleeves, and SS Timber is like the latest 5pack but with boots and a slightly different webgear.

Wal-Mart down in Troy had the Marvel Universe figures on the shelf for $8 something but when I rang them up at the self checkout they came up as 4 bucks. hey guys i finally completed my nightraven but i still have my other nightraven, and if anyone wants it they can have it. It is missing the front landing gear, 2 tail fins, both missle pods, and one of the things that attach the missle pods is broken. with all that said you could probly restor it for about 25- 30 or use it to complete yours. None, actually. There was a guy there with a couple of kids who got the Blade. I don't know if they got the Red Hulk or not but it wasn't on the pegs when they left and I did see the Blade as I walked by.

I got Hobgoblin, Moon Knight and Union Jack for a friend. Only reason I found them was because they were in the Star Wars aisle and not the Joe/Marvel/Batman, etc. aisle where they were supposed to be.
