After seeing it I'm a bit ticked off, but I still can't wait to play it.

I've heard you were supposed to be able to use your last save from Mass Effect in starting 2 and you would start with all of your character stats and all from there, playing the same character. Not sure how true that is but this was certainly a shocker. I still cannot wait, Mass Effect was a great game.

So since this seems to be the closest thing to an official Mass Effect 2 thread that we have - is anyone else as insanely eager to get their hands on this game as I am? Everything I've seen makes it look like it's an improvement on the original in virtually every way (much better graphics, more interesting/colorful characters, better combat, better classes, better dialogue...and they've promised better "world exploration" and a better replacement for the MAKO...basically only technical glitches could "ding" this title at this point). I loved the first game despite it's hiccups (elevator rides/load times, repetitive "unlocking" mini-game, texture pop-in), so if this game really lives up to its' promises (and given Bioware's track record I'm betting it will), it may very well shoot to "my favorite of all time" status pretty quickly.

i have mine on preo-order since it comes out ina couple weeks (cant wait for that gun and ternion armor)...oh man im giddy with anticipation. I LOVED the first one and cannot wait for this one.

Yeah, the Terminus Armor and the Blackstorm gun look awesome, but I'd already pre-ordered the Collector's Edition from Amazon, and didn't want to risk not being able to get a Collector's Edition reserved at Gamestop (since apparently they aren't allowing reservations of that one anymore online, and most stores have already "signed out" their allotment).

So I get the Inferno Armor (which looks cool, but not as cool as the Terminus Armor), and no black hole launcher, but I also get the "Collector Armor and Rifle" for the Collector's Edition and have the "Blood Dragon Armor" from Dragon Age as well. I'll be swimming in bonus armor.

Just a heads up if its true....I was putting in my Pre-Order payment at Game Stop and the guy behind the counter said they may be cutting off pre-orders a week or more before the 26th, because the games will have the codes inside the wrapper. So, if you do want a pre-order get it done before then.

Like I said...if it is true I don't know.

I pre-ordered it on Friday on the site for store pickup and it went through. I can't wait to play, going to be awesome.
