Cobra Nightwatch 5 pack: Has anyone reviewed this yet?

Wanted to see some pics and get somebody's feedback on this set. I've only seen it twice. and Unfortunately, that was before I started collecting.

I haven't seen mine in a long while, it packed up somewhere. I remember it being pretty cool though.. if you're into the paint jobs. I liked them but some people didn't care for them much.

If you do customs or whatnot I'd guess it'd be a good way to get a bunch of Cobra Troopers on the cheap.

But I haven't seen it at any of my local TRU's in a WHILE.. and they have lots of Pegwarmers..

I know! I find plenty of Firefly vs Joe Troopers and Crimson Guard 5 packs...but I can never find the Night watch pack. wanted to hear somebody's feedback and out of box picks...

I like the pack for a couple reasons. Good color scheme. I like the brown web gear with the blue camo. The officer's grey camo works well too. Plus they all have different hair color painted on. Looks good.
I also like the fact that I can switch the legs with python patrol officer and get an all black cobra trooper.
The additional accessories are good. Now my Flash has his laser rifle in black, and I have a black Roadblock gun for the DVD pack Roadblock.

this was the only one of the four TRU exclusive 5-packs that I bought. I only bought one. they're like a special squad for me. I've thought about buying the green shirts pack, but I don't really like the 2 shades of green and I don't care enough about that Firefly to pull the trigger.

ironically that's the only one I DID buy, simply for the fact that I was tired of not finding a single carded camo-Firefly.

really? I've seen that out there on the new card a few times. I like the CP version the best of the 2 I have.

I made 2 Cobra Slither atv's for my Night Watch set. Gave the Officer a marauder gun too.

I never got the set. All I wanted was the black Flash rifle which a Hisstank member kindly gave me one. It would be nice to have one set, but at the moment, my collecting direction doesn't allow me to get it.

I picked up a ton of these when they first hit TRU stores. The night watch officer is by far the coolest looking figure in the set. I mean you need a way to counter the threat from GI JOES night force. These guys fill that role well for me. Outside of night vipers what else can you use?

I have a set, and I have always liked them, they were just loaded with equipment and weapons. I believe the card description says that they are an elite well equiped night fighter trooper squad imbedded in regular blue shirt units.

I like the Night Watch Cobras better than any other Cobra. That 5 pack was pure awesomeness.

I bought 4 sets. 3 opened and one unopened.

I'll see about posting some pics.

It grew on me. I've used it to create some Cobra Commandos. And of course it has the black Flash, Flint, and Roadblock guns, which helps a lot.

Got the set for Easter from my wife last year and I was one happy camper along with a Corps Khaki Assault Humvee. Of course me being a good husband I got her a Gilmore Girls DVD set and some easter treats. After getting the 1st NW set I felt I needed more troops so I bought 2 more single troops so i can have a total of 6 troopers and 1 officer.

We are supposed to get a TRU Viper 5 pack with Mercer there are pics somewhere on the Tank

This set rocked I limited my troop building to six of Cobras

The 4 with Officer and 2 loose on ebay

With exception of 4 Tele-vipers, 4 Red Ninjas, and 4 Crimson Neo Vipers

Reason why 4 Tele-vipers and not 6 were computer geeks and had no reason to fight, only needed in battlefield as tech officers and communications officers.

Reason 4 Ninjas, well one good ninja can eliminate a small army of 20; U have 4 plus a red leader, you can be promised major carnage.

Also Reason why 4 Crimson NV? These guys are my default Cobra-La Royal Guard and in the FC of these guys it said one of these guys could take out 30 fighters.


Going back to NW

So they would be diff. I tweaked them by changing some of the weapons.

One has blk Flint Shotgun came with along with blk Bench Press Chainsaw-homage to Evil Dead's Ash Character
One has blk 50 Caliber Roadblock weapon
One has Wave 3 Zartan Sniper Rifle
One has blk Flash Laser Weapon

The next two one has the Wave 13 Torch blowtorch the other a Maurader Russian RPG weapon

The NW Officer I gave him a mini-arsenal he has the Wave 12 Ripper rifle and blk AK-47

Changed out their all blk rifles with Wave 2 Trooper black on wood rifles.

Ive got 11 of them in my Cobra army. And im still working on a custom vehicle for them. They are great looking troops..
