GI Joe #2

Just stopped by my comic shop today to get issue #2 of GI Joe.

All I gotta say is WOW... for all the belly aching and moaning I have done about the movie and some of the new toys this more than makes up for all of it.

I LOVE this new comic.. for all of those who thought issue #1 was iffy... wait till you get #2.

Its long for one thing which is great and it really gets the story going.

This Really FEELS like ARAH only MUCH Better.

The character development is wonderful as is the interweaving of the storytelling.

I'm hooked now... and I really do like the artwork as well.

Also has me excited because so far every issue has a lot of possibility for custom figures.

Now if only we could get a cartoon based on THIS comic.

Well worth the read!

I still think that the Joe team is too big for a "starting" unit. How can a full blown group be justified in its existance without really having much to do.

#2 is definitely strong, although Brainstorm and the fobbits dancing around with the boombox was kind of hokey - could've done without. But what do you expect from fobbits?! Cover B is HOTTT!!
