Custom Cobra Commander from Gentleman's Concept Art

When I saw the gorgeous concept artwork that Gentleman did of Cobra Commander, I knew I had to do the figure;

Beret: Custom cast from JvC Stalker
Head: Spy Troops Iron Grenadier
Figure: 25th Anniversary Firefly
Sleeve Patch: printed out from Joe Customs Wiki File Depository
Braid: gold coloured silk braid
Epaulettes: photoshopped and glued to styrene
Sash: 25th Anniversary Duke

I am rather pleased with this Urban Terrorist Cobra Commander and will be using it as my default CC from now on. Looks far more badass than a guy in a hood. Fits in better with my custom Joe collection.

J/K... AMAZING custom my friend! You got everything right and then some more! (like a "real" braid and the removable beret). I'd definitely buy one myself and, what's more, I wouldn't mind him looking like that in the film. I feel the same way as you do about the battle helmet or the hood (though I'd take the hood over the helmet ANYDAY).

Who knows... maybe Hasbro's looking and this gives them some ideas?

I love customs like this,Gives the Commander a new real look.I done 1 based off of the Hunt for Cobra Commander book.It can be hard to make a custom fig off of 1 pic.
