Hello
I am new to this website and just getting back into collecting joes with the new 25th anniversary stuff. I am going to pull my old stuff out and start to collect again but was wondering if someone knew of a software that could be used track you joe information. I have several books about joes and there accessories, but I would prefer software. Also if someone knows some open source software that might work I am a programmer and can modify it to meet my needs and then release it for use. Thanks for the information.

I bought ''G.I.JOE Figure Collector and Vehicule collector'' some months ago. It's a Excel file for organizing your collection. I realy like it. You can modify it (changing image, add comments, photos).
Check at http://www.lewzworld.com/thecobratemple/
You can check on Ebay, i saw a couple of software that can do that a few days ago but this one contain almost all figures from 1982-2007.

I built a database for tracking my collection. The one that's online isn't up to date anymore, but if there's interest, I'll repost it with all the latest figures.

It's in Microsoft Access and keeps track of what you have, what you're missing, how many of each figure you have, what you have for trade, and the new version will even keep track of your trades and ebay transactions.
The db keeps all Joe figures regardless of type, all known foreign Joe figures, all known unproduced Joe figures as well as other lines that use Joe molds like Bronze Bombers and Mortal Combat.

OK. I spent some time cleaning out my personal version today and should have a new one (with a lot more functionality) up tomorrow or Friday. I'll post the link here when it's done!

Ok. I've updated the DB. It now contains info on 1741 unique figures from around the world. It is current to everything that is currently shipping. (Until it's found at retail, I don't enter in as too much stuff has been cancelled over the years.) Here's the new link:

I need to clean up the page to get it just right, but the database is there and ready for download.
If you have any questions about it, please ask them here and I'll answer them.

Thank you. I appreciate the item. I am still considering a comprehensive collector software if I have time to work on it.

I am still interested in creating a software program that would be useful to collectors. I would apprciate any input on the information needed for this. I am a programmer and would like to create a standalone application that could be used by many people. If you have any suggestion please let me know.
