I was a Wal-mart today and saw a Corps set that looked pretty cool. It was 3 figures with a small vehicle, the vehicle was in parts still on the tree sprues and you get to assemble it, just like the Joes of old :) I saw two there, a glider thing and a dune buggy called the Dune Scorcher (That looked A LOT like the GI Joe Desert Coyote) Both sets were $6.48 or so.

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures and didn't pick them up but I may go back tonight and see if they're still there

Sometimes I wonder if Wal*Mart intentionally "shoots down" G.I.Joe in order to push Lanard CRAPS! items.

Probably depends on what they have the most stock of in the DC's and what they would profit the most on...

I really think that Hasbro underestimated the popularity of the single figs. I mean, they are rare everywhere right now. I would bet there is a mad scramble to get more Wave 4 & 5 produced ASAP as we type. I can almost see the poor Chinese workers tearing apart the 5 packs to put the figs into singles in some plant somewhere.

I saw a Corps boat that I thought would make a cool Night Landing custom.

Sorry the pic is a little blurry

The name of these sets are "Battle-Kit" They're under the "The Corps!" line. I tried finding other info out about these but these two are the only ones I've seen anywhere

I saw those items the other night at a not-so-local walmart (maybe my local one will carry them soon). Looks pretty cool and is a bit reminiscent of the old Joe days when the toys were almost part model. I did pick up a few of the gyrocopters and made some new FANGs. I like them better than the originals, and a lot cheaper!

Yeah it does look a little sigma sixish. If their figures were better, I'd probably be all over their toys

These seem to be the small vehicles, if that's the case I wonder what they have coming next, anyone know?
