Coming to San Diego ComicCon (July 2007), G.I. Joe will have one of the coolest convention exclusives ever! The G.I. Joe Collectors Club (http://www.gijoeclub.com) has set up a 7 question series for fans to ask Hasbro.

Question #1: Is the exclusive a figure, and if so, what scale (2.5", 3 3/4",
8", or 12")? Hasbro Answers: In light of the 25th anniversary celebration
of G.I. Joe vs. Cobra, the exclusive will be 3 3/4".

The G.I. Joe Team could tell you....but they have given the G.I. Joe Collectors' Club an exclusive "seven questions" to ask before it will be revealed. Let the rumor mill begin....

We will post 1 question a day - starting Thursday April 19, at 10am (EDT) here at www.gijoeclub.com and release the answer from Hasbro. Then, we will show the exclusive at noon on Friday April 27th. Keep watching this site for updates, after all...knowing is half the battle!

I'm thinking if it's not a troop builder, then it's a core character that's already been done (as Hasbro would be insane to release a figure EVERYONE wants at a con).

Again, I say this was already answered in a round about way. If the figure was already released, yet Billy has never been released...one would assume that it's not billy.

Eh, sorry...I just think a better question to ask, knowing the answers to all the questions we have already would be:

#6 - Does the figure have any chrome and/or silver parts?


With that question, you can eliminate a lot of figures.

Ten years ago, DESTRO briefly replaced his bad-to-the-bone suit with a very flamboyant outfit: dark and deadly DESTRO was now dressed in leopard skin. The unusual deco was given the go ahead for production, and a few hundred of these garish guys made it into the world before Hasbro honchos decided the deco was too over-the-top. The colors were toned down, and DESTRO was back to his usual black-clad badness. Because those leopard-skin figures are almost impossible to find, we've decided to give you a treat!

At ComicCon 2007, he'll be available in TWO versions for your viewing and collecting enjoyment, so grab both of them while you can!
