Didn't like repainted head Hasbro used in their figure... So let me know what you think about this head:

That head works great! You can probably even pull off a Devil's Due Zarana look if you paint an under shirt on, file down the badge and straps then paint the rest of the top as a jacket

Now there's an idea... Hmm, I'll need pictures.

That looks like it has some potential! I can't wait to see the finished product.

What head did you use? I've been trying to figure out what to do for a Zarana custom. Decided that may be my first one. But Scarlett's head just doesn't look like it should be on Zarana's body.

The head is a Star Wars comic pack Dark Woman head. I've actually starked working on a Zarana myself using that same head but modified it a little to give it more of a Zarana look.
Here is a link to the comic pack in question:

Nicole Kidman looks cool as Zarana.

Oh awesome. I never considered looking at Star Wars figures for Joe heads/parts. I'll have to do that now.

Yeah Ive been doing it for awhile now, you will have to mod the ball joint opening in the head though since starwars figures use a larger ball joint on the neck. Alot of the arms work good too for 25th with a little modded, you just to pay attention to wha they look like in the package.

Actually, I recently pulled the legs back off and rebuilt the Lady Jaye and Scarlett figures. Despite popular opinion of the wave 9, 10, 57 waves, I like to hold out hope that Hasbro's gonna make a Zarana for me. Man that's some cleavage, I'm surprised Hasbro got away with it since "better judgment" forced Toybiz to repaint their X-Men movie Jean Grey figures.
Carnage is correct, the head for Zarana is the Dark Lady from the comic pack and Zandar is the Anakin from the Assassin Droid 2 pack.
I did paint her eye brows since that last picture though... I'll probably put the head on whatever figure Hasbro hands us later on.
As for modding the necks. I get a little lazy and just use some masking tape to enlarge the size of the neck. That way nothing is permanent.

I've got a mold made (no parts cast yet though) for this head, along with Starkiller, Nicole, Bond James Bond, and several other good generic heads. I'm looking forward to trying a few of them out like you've done here.

You'll need to consider Biggs Darklighter's head for Dialtone and maybe Cutter too.

I made a mold myself of those same heads myself since there no use ruining the original head until I really need to. I plan on useing a cast head of the Dark Woman head on my Zarana instead of the actual Dark Woman head.

That's a good head. I picked up that 2 pack some time ago for possible use.

Agreed, that's all. Back on topic, that is a great Zarana head, I'll have to find one.

Great Zarana. I also liked the Zandar in the picture with Zartan. Very cool...
