Larry Hama is back at it again. He will be doing the Origins comic line for GI Joe. #1 should be out Feb 2009.

If that's any indication of the artwork...count me out! I'll stick with the Atkins/Dixon book. That artwork sucks, IMO.

Looks like they're using Frank Lloyd Wright designed house called "Falling Water" as the target building.

Origins is switching artists starting with #3.


Do you know why they're running with one artist for the first couple of issues and then making a swap? That is kinda weird to me.

Couple reasons (I don't know for sure, don't think it was announced, it's usually not when there's an artist change).

1 - no one is happy with the quality of the work
2- he's not fast enough and starting to effect deadline
3- something changed with the artist and can no longer make the committement

They won't announce why, since it's not really a public issue.
