That is a review thread, this one should be the discuss/talk thread. Anyway, got 4 out of 5 (missing the incentive cover, that I should have shortly) all at cover price. New England Comics rules!

I liked the Pit, but not a big fan of the skyscrapers under the gound.

I just wanted to take a minute and defend the new feminine Dial Tone. Robert Atkins was at Graham Crackers Comics (suburbs of Chicago) today for the debut and I have to say he's a very gracious and friendly guy. I asked him about the change and he said that he and Dixon were working on introducing a completely new character into the line-up. However, after the story was written and drawn, Hasbro decided that they already had enough characters. Since this female character is a communications support specialist, they made them change the name to Dial Tone.

Love the new PITT, and as I've already posted in multiple threads (there's just too many Joe #1 threads, they can all be used for the same purposes), the underground skyscrapers are entirely feasible and alot more realistic then the previous incarnations of the other PITTS.


And I got the hots for the new Dial-Tone...

for the most part...loved it.

the beginning was cool...the feel of it was cool...i'm even good with the female dial tone.

things i didn't like?

the pitt looking like an underground city...with 2 huts over the top.

Duke and scarlett, instead of Snake Eyes and Scarlett.

these two things are givin me a BIG tv show cheese vibe. i'm waitin for lazers.
