Heavy Duty?????? WTF? know my kids will like that, but Roadblock is my Heavy Gunner, Heavy Duty? I'm still scratching my head.

This is what I was fearing: S6/"modern era" character line-up instead of classic line-up.
But... ya know, in the end, I can live with Heavy Duty over Roadblock. What I fear the most is the bit about Wayans being casted for the role. I REALLY don't want any stupid over-the-top comic relief in this film. It's what ruined TF for me.
Still... just a rumor for now.
*sigh*

Wow, if anything, if they wanted to keep the it in the Wayans clan... probably his nephew Damien Wayans who played Tec in Malibus Most Wanted (also played the deaf kid in Major Payne), he was cut up in MMW.
Also Terry Crews is an even better choice.

Okay...first of all, why HD and not Roadblock, why, why, why?!!! Second of all...if you ARE going to do HD (even though the majority of fans are gonna be pissed about it) Marlon Wayans???????????
The only thing HEAVY about him was his hair in Scary Movie 15 or whatever. Very confused says I!!!!!!!!

Are they going by the script what was written back in Sept 16th 2005 (first draft)? In there they had Duke, Snake Eyes, Scarlett, General Flagg, Heavy Duty, Hi-Tech, Wild Bill and General Hawk and for Cobra, they had Baroness, Destro, Storm Shadow, and Cobra Commander (aka Cobra). ~ never read the script, just read the review, and it sounds pretty decent, a good way to start out the franchise.
Script review, in case anyone missed it or would like to read it.. http://actionheroes.homestead.com/reviewstwohundredsixteen.html

WTF!!?? Are you F**cking kidding me?? Okay if this is legit I have become 70% less interested in this film! This guy ruins everything he's in and the last thing this movie needs is stupid comic relief from the likes of this douche-bag! News for hasbro: Kids will buy Roadblock figures just as quickly as they will Heavy Duty!
Way to screw up a great cast so far guys!!
Blegh!

Hopefully he doesn't accept the role. I don't think the role suits his acting style. Maybe the script was suppose to go to his older brother Keenan? Anyone seen "I'm gonna get you sucka" Now that one bad mofo...haha

That's kinda disappointing. Heavy Duty is the poor-man's Roadblock. The rest of the casting seems pretty good though.
I was thinking that the guy from Transformers would make an awesome Roadblock. Oh well, here's to hoping he makes it into G. I. Joe 2.
However, the good news, is I would be able to accept Heavy Duty as an International character, since, well, I don't care about him. If Roadblock wasn't American, I don't know how well I would take it.

This is also on IGN.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, best known to fanboys as Mr. Eko on Lost, will play the Joes' ordinance expert Heavy Duty, while Sleeper Cell's Said Taghmaoui has been cast as communications specialist Breaker.

Okay, first, Ray Park had better always be shot from a distance or looking up at him...5' freaking 9"? Okay so he's an Umpa Loompa.
Secondly, Heavy Duty???
Roadblock = Michael Clark Duncan!

I can handle that, but would still rather have Roadblock.
Sleeper Cell's Said Taghmaoui has been cast as communications specialist Breaker:
