Who said everyone here hates 8" figures? You must be thinking about another board, man, because there's been plenty of S6 customs that have gotten TONS of love here ;)

As for your custom, I like it! Great job on the sculpting. What head did you use?

Wow, I totally forgot about this, and thought no one ever responded...

I do know that alot of people on here despise the 8"ers (heck, I know plenty of S6 lovers who wish the figs were 3.75" or 12"), but glad to see it's not as many as I'd thought...

It was Tunnel Rat's head, sculpted the beard in Green Stuff.

Wow. Thanks, guys! I want to try and make him a sailor's hat out of Green Stuff, but I want it removable, so he can switch between the two looks. I also need a smaller drill bit, so I can put a hole in his shoulder for the Polly I've got...

This was my second attempt at sculpting (my first was an eyepatch for Major Bludd...).

I also sculpted Ghost Bear's hair,
(not the greatest, but I'm happy with it...)

Rock'N'Roll's beard & Flash's pads,
(and, technically Steeler's goatee, but it's a flat, textureless piece...)

Jinx's sports bra,
(again, not great, but I'm fine with it, considering what I was working with...)

Wild Bill's mustache,

He's actually my most recent, and the first one where I did major part painting, and the first time I've painted joints (shoulder)!! I kinda wish I'd had an extra CobraFly head to use, instead of Snake Eyes, but I think it still works...

I'd had an accessory-less "Yakuza" Storm Shadow for awhile, now (thanks, Razerwire!), knowing I wanted to turn it into a different character, but could never think of who. ...and thought Lockdown looked more like him than Long Range, and since the only place an LD head was being used in my collection was Wild Bill (CobraFly's head is on one LD body as Shockwave, and Gung Ho's head is on the other for a WIP Mutt), I'm gonna use my spare for DS! ^_^

I say "first", because I have another Sigma Strike Duke that I plan to do the same thing to. Yippee. ^_^"

Now, having completely forgotten the entire Joe history from my childhood, and the first volume of Marvel not setting in stone too much, it leaves me a little more freedom to do my own thing for my Joeverse. Like turn Mindbender into a Dr. Jekyll-like character, who turns into a gorilla-man. ~_^

So, not sure of how the original Vipers were, mine are battle-hardened soldiers. They've been through it all, and haven't lost very many along the way. And, I wanted to show that in the face of my first Viper:

In case you can't see, his right earlobe is gone, and the top of his left ear has joined it. Also, there's another scar along his left jawline that's hard to see in this pic. I probably should've taken angle shots. Oh, well.

Second guy will use a different head than Duke, despite how versatile that head can be.

If I can get a third SSD, I hope to make their commander: Mercer... ^_^

I'm surprised at how good WW came out, too, considering it was my first "full paint", bright red over dark blue (always prime first, kiddies!), and I painted the joints (shoulders), too. ^_^"

Let me see what I've got in terms of fodder. I know in requiring certain parts, I'm left with others that I have no use for.

I have seen your stuff before when I was googling Sigma 6 Customs, I'm glad I found you here, truly amazing stuff.
I always thought the best thing about Sigma 6 was the custom possibilities- interchangable gear, the scale, and they take paint so well.
You totally prove my theory correct, please keep it up, I wanna see more!
