Differences in DVD releases (figure packs vs 2003 release)?

Aside from the packaging, I was wondering if there are any differences in the the actual DVD content of the "MASS Device/Revenge of Cobra" double set from 2003 and the current 25th Ann. Figure packs? The movies are the same in both cases, right?!

I have the 2003 double release set...but got the new DVD figure packs for Xmas. Obviously, I'm thinking of selling the 2003 set.

For reference, here's what I'm talking about:

I have the version that did NOT include a Snake-Eyes figure. I see both the Snake-Eyes version and the plain version selling for big bucks... but I don't see the appeal. So please let me know if I'm missing anything.

On the earlier Rhino release the episodes are separated with an intro, "previously on GI JOE segment", "Next time on GI JOE Segment" and end credits with music.

On the new releases, all 5 episodes are streamlined into a movie without any of the stuff I mentioned above between chapters. It flows much smoother and you don't get spoilers on the next chapter like the earlier format.

Also: The Colors seem to be much brighter on the Rhino Versions.
