been pretty busy with christmas and such lately...havnt been doing the night owl thing nearly as much...but im still hunting.

for the first time in a few weeks...a few unhappy weeks, the action figure god smiled ever so slightly and threw me a bone...

tonight i happened upon this lone siegie...no flash, destro or snow...just this one guy hanging around a couple of wave one hooded CCs.

i take my victories where i can.

Nice pick up! Probably a stock person had him tucked in back to buy at end of shift, and some assistant manager put the merchandise on the peg for you to find.

i agree totally with ya magick....i figured the warmers, if any, would be destro or snake. also figured the troop builders out there wouldnt let the siegies sit too long.

Nice find. I am still on the hunt for all of wave 5. I do have some on the way from a friend but sad as it is they are not here yet.

Wave 5 hit my area around Tuesday this week. I was able to find everything but a Black Snake Eyes, and the figure I saw the most was the CG. Every store had several on the pegs, while I found one destro, 2x of Flash, SJ. My guess is I saw 15 CGs.

Kinda fits though, I dont think everyone buys alot of the troop builders. Several of the Wal Marts here have only 2 troopers on the pegs.

I find it funny that the figures that are peg warming here are the troop builders, and the hated SEs are all gone...

Proving that Hasbro is not completely ignorant, they know SE is one of their top-selling figures, hence why we see so many versions.

That's so not fair... About the only thing I could troop build around here is the new Stalker.

My brother picked me up a CG yesterday, & I got him today... this guy is AMAZING!! And one of the most intimidating looking Cobra figures of all time, & one of the best of the 25th so far!! @_@

Great find you have there!

Yes, CG is one of the more elaborate redo's from the 25th line, and thankfully so. I especially like the little details, like the separate shoulder rank insignia, silver detailing on the bayounet, and separate gun that fits nicely in the left leg holster. All of these details (and more) could have been ommitted in sake of the almightly dollar, yet Hasbro took things to the next level. God bless you, Hasbro! :-)

it sucks doesn't it... i have disposable income ready and waiting to go to hasbro, i just can't find the product in stores. :(
