This has been a fun little project my son and I have been working on! All the ideas came from him, I just had to see them through. We've got more things to add but I thought I'd share these pics with you guys! Enjoy!!

That would be the University of Tennessee...notice the Peyton Manning autographed poster on the wall!
Oh, and as for Polly, the sneaky bird flew in there last night just before Shipwreck locked up, I swear!!

That is pretty damn creative. Nice work. Looks like you and your son have a nice new Joe HQ now.

Right on! It's right near the kid's bed, too...so he can jump right up on Saturday mornings and get right to the action! awesome! :D

The best play sets are the ones you make yourself.
I made a WHALE from a bunch of wood once. No where near as cool as my neighbor's real WHALE, but necessity is the mother of invention.

That's 10 times better than the original Joe Headquarters I've been staring at on ebay for the past week. You and your son do great work.

Thanks guys...it's really all just for fun. I'd been doing the custom 25th figs and he wanted to help. I thought doing repaints on HTF items probably wasn't the best idea so I came up with this...which, in his little mind, blew the custom figures away :) I really can't take much credit for this one as all I did was the manual labor. I let him find all the cutouts in magazines and he picked out the material from the WM craft section...I must say, it's pretty darn funny what kids can do when you let them!! I mean a weight bench and big screen TV?! I'd never think of that for a GI Joe base!!!

You're right. I'm planning on a GI Joe PIT/display and was trying to figure out how to set it up. I'd never have thought of the weight bench or television, but somehow they seem perfect.
(although I'd have them watching classic Transformers cartoons)

Very cool!! Great Job!!
I bet Dad plays with it more than son though. lol
What you built is great...but even greater is that you involved him in it.
