Targets in CO have skipped Wave 12 and gone right to 13

For anyone in CO looking for Joes, I just wanted to let you know that I have found Wave 13 at both the Aurora and Glendale Targets, and neither of them ever got Wave 12 in (nor 10, but they both had 11). I do not understand this shipping schedule, but whatever.

It actually makes sense with how quickly these last 4 waves came out. I can't imagine a store ordering brand new waves every month.

The stores don't necessarily order new figures when Hasbro releases a new wave. The stores order new cases when the pegs are near-empty and there's none out back. So if a wave, say wave 10, is selling slow, the next time they order "new joes" the latest offering from Hasbro may be wave 12.

Either way, you would think Hasbro would have made sure that everyone has a chance to get their figures. They are starting to get as bad as Mattel, whose DCU line is next to impossible to find (still trying to figure out when Walmarts are going to start carrying the exclusive wave).

Targets around here have only been stocking wave 10. Just picked up another Para-Viper and Bazooka Trooper this week. I'd like to see wave 11 show up, so I can pick up an Airborne.

From what I've read, he's in the Target cases while Wal-Mart gets the revision with Wraith (which I've found).

Hasbro is not even close to being as bad as Mattel. With Hasbro, you can at least find more than 1 figure on a peg. With DCU, you are lucky to find any to begin with.

Not only that, but considering it's almost mid December and almost a full year since DCU has been released, only wave 1 and remnants of wave 3 and 4 can be found in Targets and ToysRUs'. Compare that with Hasbro's Joes, where 8-9 single figure waves, 7 comic pack waves, and 3-4 vehicles waves have been released this year, most of which has been nowhere near as challenging to find as Mattel's DCU 6" figures.

what is Hasbro supposed to do, walk each wave to the individual stores? c'mon. or better yet, come to your house like Avon and ask if you want to buy them.

Hasbro manufactures the items, then ships them off to the retailers. you aren't their customer, you are the consumer of the product. big difference. they ship to their customers, the retailers, and they make it available to you.

all product is eventually readily available to everyone -- it is your own impatience and timeframe of when you want them that is causing the problem. in 2 months, when the waves you can't find are on the shelves, it won't matter that you found them out of order, so the problem isn't and never will be Hasbro.

Yeah, I got some wave 3 at Target, and all of wave 11, but haven't seen wave 10 or 12 at Target. Wave 10 is just now hitting TRU, but has been at Kohl's. WM is so full of reissues who knows when waves 10 and up will hit there.

I've actually found the revision with Wraith at my local Target. I wish it was the other way round the way you say it.

That is defintely a CO dist. thing because here in Jacksonville, FL, I have seen every wave since the beginning on the shelf, Now there are not pegs of these guys but they do hand around for a few days at a time.. These only seem to show up at Targets and TRU though. Just found the 2 packs this week at TRU.

Actually, Wave 12's never came to my part of California at any of the stores and I don't think other states, collectors have not seen wave 12's at their store it seems. I got them online at HTS (and came before my wave 11's).

Same here in SoCali. I saw wave 13 yesterday, everything except the Resolute Trooper. Never seen wave 12, come to think of it, I haven't seen wave 11 either. I got my wave 11 figs coming from HTS.

No Wave will ever be an exclusive for a retailer. Singles are for mass release & if a Wave ever did become an exclusive I think the majority of G.I. Joe Collectors would do a 'million man march' to Rhode Island and burn Hasbro to the ground. OK maybe a 'thousand man march'...

i completed w11 and now have of w12 The PPCG & The Diver, im Gonna get the Ninja Viper and passing on the rest

w12 is the first wave i dont care to fully complete i wish i could see 13 out here even tho i only want Blowtorch and CC of that wave the rest i will pass on

now im starting not to try to complete waves cus theres to many Repaints or Charectars we have re made

i have searched for wave 12 high and low.they are avail online everywhere but nowhere at retail....you can expect these figs in revision waves in january....hopefully
