Soooo... My brother Powered Convoy & I tried to stick a 25th Trooper in the Red HISS Tank from a while back last night & he didn't fit. I've also noticed that the footpeg holes in the 25th Joes are a different size than the originals... & we are getting 3 vehicles as target exclusives... Who thinks the alterations are going to be made so that:
A. Figures included will actually fit in Target released classic vehicles.
B. Footpegs will be modified so the 25th Joes can actually use them?
Thoughts?

Seeing as how Hasbro already said there were slight modifications they needed to make to the Awe-Striker, I'd say they'll probably make those slight changes.
I've gotten the Officer to fit into my old school Hiss but it took a lot to jam him in there and his feet stuck up a bit. But technically he fit ;)

its hard to say they might fix it so the do fit but not sure on the footpegs as i hate the 25anny foot pages. but i dont know if they will fix it as alot of ppl will buy them for the old joes and new its a 50/50 shot.

Of course they will make them fit for the series they are released with.

I can get a 25th driver or officer in a hiss no problem.I think slight alterations should be made to make it a little more natural.I also think not changing the foot pegs would be crazy. If I buy a action figure, then buy a tank from the same line of toys,I expect them to fit.I compared the old vamp with the con exclusive, and the chassie seemed the same, but the figures seemed to fit a lot better.

Do you remember the speeders Hasbro gave us from Attack of the Clones? Zam Wessel had to be crammed inside flat on her (it's?) back to fit inside her speeder, and Anakin and Obi-wan couldn't fit into the cockpit of the other speeder no matter how hard you tried. If there's anything the modern Star Wars line has proven, it's that Hasbro lost the concept that figures and vehicles should be made to interact a long time ago.

I never really got back into star wars as an adult.Hearing this makes me think we will still be craming our hiss driver in.As I said they do fit...you just have to force them. Then kinda tip their feet inwards.I would think they would at least make the foot pegs the correct size.

Wait Powered Convoy from Cosmic Rust is your brother? Holy crap dude. I remember him from the tfw boards!
One of our mods here, Shogi, successfully put some of the figures into the Hiss tank. He did say its a tight fit.

Hasbro hasn't lost the concept of fig's fitting into vehicles. With those Star Wars speeders, Hasbro was gonna go back and make figures to fit in the vehicles, but that last line of Attack of the Clone fig's got cancelled, they were gonna be a exclusive. Hasbro said at the Con, the driver would fit in the Hiss, but it would be a tight fit. Crankcase, they said, is the one who is gonna be a problem. A 'tight fit" is still a fit to Hasbro.

Maybe hasbro is thinking about it from a "realistic" POV. Aren't most military vehicles a "tight fit" for everyone from tank teams to jet pilots??? Just a thought.

LOL! Im pretty sure they will fit. That would be one lame ass excuse if anyone tried to use it.

He's a Legend on those TF boards huh? ^_^ Yes he is my brother, we were at Botcon this year & now he is one of the team members on the "Allspark" boards. ^_-
He is also a member here, mostly lurking & a avid Joe collector. But over on those Transformer boards, especially the Allspark, you'll see him frequently posting & making new photo galleries of his latest aquired TF's! Drop by & say "Hi" I'm sure he'd love to hear from you SD!!
