My Resolute Duke will be..

This is gonna be a new character for me. I'll make up a back story for him. I like him he's cool. I like his weapons. He looks young too.

Duke should be old enough now to have a son right?

Maybe name codename him "DASH" A.K.A Connor S. Hauser. Could be a cool angle for my JOEVERSE.

Hmmm...possibilities for story...

I like the figure, but I'm not defaulting him as my main DUKE by any means.

He'll still be REZ DUKE most definitely when I want him to be.

However when I integrate him into the 25th/modern era line, He's gonna be someone else.

Prob Duke's loose cannon son, like how half Uncle Falcon used to be mixed with original Duke for personality, and heir apparent, when I kill off my 50 other versions of Duke.

Mother would be dead. She was a non-JOE, didn't agree with the JOE lifestyle, disapproved of her son's joining the team.

You could make the son want to carve his own name out in the military with a burning desire to escape his father's shadow. Duke sees potential, but fears for his son's safety. He pulls some strings to get his son assigned to the GI Joe team because he knows he's a great warrior and he can also keep an eye on him (kind of like in "The Patriot"). The son reluctantly agrees to the opportunity, but resents his father's interferance. He then trains under the best Joes in their respected specialties (like, I dunno... Snake-eyes!!!) and becomes the ultimate joe.
Just a thought or two.
