I always loved the two parter Worlds Without End. I know its wacky story where some Joes stay on this alternate world to help fight against Cobra but it was just so crazy. When I was younger I thought the Joe team was actually killed and you see corpses!! It has always been one of my favorites for that reason. Cobra rules the world!

There were so many good ones. The Viper is coming is one of my favorites as is The gods below...The Traitor is a great 2 part episode just because it is different. The Synthoid 2 parter is great also...It is to hard to just pick one...

You took that one right outta my mind. Worlds Without End was my Favorite, followed closely by Excalibur and the one where they Meet the Egyptian Gods. My top four would include the one where Destro and Lady Jae find out they are related.
They stay behind to rebuild GI Joe in the alternate world...
Yeah, but do they ever come back?

Yeah, but do they ever come back?
I don't think so...At the end of the episode it said there was no way for them too. I don't remember seeing them in any future episodes, but i could be wrong...

Worlds Without End is my favorite for obvious reasons.
Those Joes were replaced by new characters.
I'm pretty sure that they never appeared again.

Well I understand Steeler staying behind. If I do recall he was with the baroness! I'd stay behind too.

I'm with you guys who're saying Worlds Without End. Back in 92 or 93, I went to some big media store on the US side of Niagara Falls and found the cassette for it and picked it up.
I also liked The Viper is Coming, and the one where Shipwreck tells the fairy tale to the orphanage kids.
The Traitor was a good one too, I remember there was a similar Transformers episode.
I also like Lights! Camera! Cobra! and I think Jungle trap is another I really like.

Jungle Trap was good. That was one of the first episodes i had bought on video cassette. I also bought Cobra Stops the World...I still have them...Light's Camera Cobra wasn't bad either...
Battle for the Train of Gold and the Gamesmaster were great episodes too...

I liked the two parter" There's no place like Springfield" It's the one where Cobra tries to trick Shipwreck into thinking he has amnesia and it is years later than he thinks it is and is married w/ a kid....all to get a secret formula from him.Turns out all of his family and friends were Cobra Synthoids and the town he lives in is fake.Good stuff!!! I still preferred the comics though.

This is a tough question. I guess it would have to be "Worlds Without End", but the "No Place Like Springfield" and "The Traitor" are also great. One thing I didn't like about the Traitor is that they picked Dusty as the traitor and he was one of my favorite characters as a kid.

Steeler shows up guarding the outside of the base in gi joe the movie. I think it's the scene before Flint, Duke and Hawk are talking about hearing "zip from Roadblock and unit".

Computer Complications... First of all the whole thing with Mainframe talking about his tours in Vietnam and about his ex-wife is a pretty bizarre concept to bring into a cartoon. The fact they made him this hardcore sexist is another thing. Then of course we have the Cobra Heli-carrier crashing into the USS Flagg!
I think it's one of the only episodes besides two parters that they later again reference (Not sure of the name but it's the one where the joes and cobra work together underwater to raise the Flagg using anti-matter.
