Hi all.
First of all, sorry if this is not the correct forum zone for creating this thread; mods, please feel free to move it to a more suitable one, if you think so.
Last week I purchased 1 OurWar figure in China (ws_toys, strongly recommended - not my first neither my last time). I received it a few days ago here in Madrid, Spain. So, the delivery was really fast.
Despite I had always seen this line, OurWar, as hyperrealistic, very actual warfare figures, when it arrived home...
I have just opened it, and I don't like the T-crotch to be plastic, but, I can handle it. The head sculpt detail is not very good, but I can handle it.
But one of the most-wanted accys it came with, the kneepads, are far from good quality. I tried to put them onto Showdown Beachhead, and the whole 4 stripes had the typical stress white marks, and one of them even broke! Not a big stress, honestly. So, that rubber is really, really cheap. It's a pity, as the detail on the kneepads was one of the most surprising things on the figure.
Also, the M4 carbine is not bad, of course. It has some kind of paintbrush... but also doesn't seem to be good quality. Ok, maybe I had prejudiced, as I'm used to Hasbro's quality (yes, you can claim about some points, but, on average, it's one of the most-quality mainstream figures manufacturer).
Ok, I don't regret paying 10 euro (about 12 USD) for the figure, especially when the shipping costs are for free... but just wanted you to be warned about the issue I've had with the kneepads, if you're thinking of using them for a Joe figure.
Thanks for reading.
