I've done this in the past for MASS Device (http://generalsjoes.com/2008/09/06/the-mass-device-my-top-5-moments/), Weather Dominator (http://generalsjoes.com/2008/09/07/the-revenge-of-cobra-my-top-5-moments/), Pyramids of Darkness (http://generalsjoes.com/2008/10/29/pyramids-of-darkness-5-memorable-moments/), and Arise, Serpentor, Arise (http://generalsjoes.com/2008/10/31/arise-serpentor-arise-5-memorable-moments/). Now I've made the jump from "5 Memorable Moments" to 10, and I've tackled the always controversial G.I. Joe: The Movie.
Check out my 10 most memorable moments over on GeneralsJoes (http://generalsjoes.com/2008/11/29/gi-joe-the-movie-10-memorable-moments/)!

Very cool scenes all around, however, I am one of the very few that would have included Cobra Commander's "origin scene" as well.
As a kid, I was fascinated with this scene. It showed what was behind the mask. As a child I think I would have been bored and disapointed by the idea of a used car salesman who got screwed over being CC (Mind you I never read the comic as a kid either) While I prefer the Car Salesman version now, I loved the mutant CC as a kid

The opening sequence for the GI Joe movie is the best.
My nomination for second best scene is the part where SSG Slaughter trashes Nemesis Enforcer.
"...And this is for the US of A!!!!!! (SMASH!!)"

I agree. Though the car salesman angle may or may not work today, to a nine year-old, that scene was fascinating, as was the opening scene, the Pythona's raid on the terrordrome scene, the Cobra attack on the BET, and when the Royal Guards and Nemesis Enforcer first emerge and beat the hell out of Snow Job, Snake Eyes, and Quick Kick.

Shogi, that's a great suggestion that was *this close* to making the cut. What ended up putting it out was just the fact that I personally didn't really like that aspect of the COBRA La mythos, so using my own personal bias, I elected to go in a different direction. :)
Definitely an important scene, though!

#1 for me would be the TD opening seen. I loved that part...
I hated the Cobra LA part though. But I do agree with a lot of what you had listed...
I was bummed you didnt have the opening song listed. I thought that was cool as a kid!

Well, I didn't include as part of the 10, but I did include it at the end. I agree, it's too great not to at least be mentioned!

only got a chance to check out your P. of Darkness list...and uggg Quick Kick vs Storm Shadow!?! WORST FIGHT EVER. lol Barefoot and Shirtless?!? get outta town...a stuntman beats up a master ninja in the snow? Comic S.S.was and always will be the definative Stormy...
ps. I never HATED the Joe movie, but Commanders origin disappointed me as a kid...i was more into the comics and liked the "regular guy sticks it to the man" route that the comic went...
