Yeah, I know. I really contemplated getting a 32x but just couldn't find enough good games to justify buying one. As for a Nomad...finding one in good shape can be difficult.
As for the TV...I have a 32" Sony Wega upstairs that the Wii is currently hooked up to and I do sometime use my home theater for gaming as well:

I used to sell games, wayyyy back in the days of PS1, at a KMart...And see some of that really brings back memories. My last video game I bought was either Tekken 3 or Star wars-Masters of teras kasi. I wish I could still devote the time to gaming, i was a huge mark for fighting games...And your setup is SCREAMING "3 large pizzas and a case of cold Lager and a not so lonely friday night" to me. Totally jealous.

That's a hell of a collection you got there man. Unfortunatley my gaming is on hold, with the exception of Rock Band, my 37" LCD just shit the bed and I refuse to go back to playing games on my old POS tv.

video gaming was a huge part of my childhood, and somewhat to this day. I began on the Commodore64 in 1982, then graduated immediately in '82 to the Atari 2600, ColecoVision, and Intellivision, and then onto the greatest memories of 1985 -1988 with the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
i truly believe that the 80's was the Golden Age of toys & video games.
The 80's were, and will always be to me, the greatest decade of my life. For toys, games, and life in general...i have the fondest memories.

I agree with you 100%. 80's were the best for me too. I miss being a kid so much it hurts... I wish I could do it all over again.

deanhp, i think you speak for all of us. For some reason (in my mind) the sun seemed to hang higher in the sky, summer's were warmer (and longer), and life was exciting ...mainly because i actually believed Freddy Krueger and Jason might actually come get me.
I miss those days.

Holy crap if I had a setup like that I'd probably never sleep. I can remember staying up all night playing Mortal Combat then trying to work the next day. Great setup and welcome to the Tank

Mortal Kombat.
I shall apologize to the video game gods for mispelling the game title. Thank you ever so much for taking the time to point out my error.

Very impressive. I can salute anyone who takes home theatre and console gaming serious. Not only I do this too, but if you buy from my company, it puts food on the table. ;)

That's pretty awesome, but. . .you can't sit there with a straight face and suggest that you have a real video game collection without the greatest system of them all: the Virtual Boy!! Giving children headaches and/or seizures all throughout early 1996.
Seriously, though, is that the power pad under your TV? Do you still play "Track and Field?" And where did you get that awesome Nintendo sign? I have no room for anything like that, but I would make room!
